4 hours is not a problem at all. The first game was like 2 so that's an upgrade

Especially the second. The first hits you with awe and curiosity, and fear and disgust back and forth. The second took that formula, dialed it to 11 then added moments of wholesomeness and vengeance in. It felt amazing.

@@jihokim788 The story is so turbo-far out there, that the wonderful folk at Tarsier Studios are probably going to have a stroke anytime anyone asks about the plot of the game, because they secretly acknowledge how immense the plot is, and have left the actual story-building elements and conclusions up to the players to decide. 😂
I really love the universe in Little Nightmares, and the coolest part is the insane theorycrafting that has come with it.

I love games like this because they remind me of books kinda. Instead of getting everything at a face value you have to understand context clues, reading between the lines, figurative language, etc. especially with something so visual.
Also he forgot to mention how absolutely phenomenal the soundtrack is.
Damn. 90% makes me so happy, cuz this is genuinely probably my favorite game series, and it's nice to see other people appreciate the game too.

There are many, many, many spectacular theories about the plot and story of Little Nightmares 2. I recommend checking out explanation video that was crafted beautifully by SuperHorrorBro of his rendition and take on the game; there are also many great theories his community has posted in the comment section.

The comics also kinda make the story real confusing man, so far from my interpretation. I think Little Nightmare 2, is a prequel which reveals the main antagonist being that tower. ***SPOILERS***
The reveal of the tower being made of flesh and having a bunch of eyes, makes me think that the tower maybe a living entity that's taking the flesh of the people of the world. It shows as you get closer to the tower the building are either bending away or closer to the tower. Mono being a radio wave monster is honestly also terrifying because he can travel at any point of history, since we now know time looping is a thing. So far this game is real damn weird but in a really cool way.
It's a confirmed prequel, because of the secret ending

It seems like the tower is a symbiote that needs someone with radio wave powers to act as a host and spread its will. The previous host was the Man, and now Mono.

this game was such a treat, i think that not only what you said was true but the soundtrack was also amazing, i love how each antagonist has a specific chase theme and stealth theme and how each area also has a different track and ambience

She did that because mono is the one who made her leave who made her fight for her life when all she wanted to do was sit and listen to her music box that's why at the end when mono destroys the music box when six turns normal again she looks at him with disgust also she does most likely have her hunger at this point so it could be she didn't want to eat mono
@@riotergames1242 Eh, it"s still up to interpretation. Some interpret that Shadow Six is Six's soul separated from her body ever since Thin Man took her and the physical body no longer has the conscience to tell her that she's wrong or right. Just sensing her stomach is empty. In the secret ending, Shadow Six sees an ad for the cruise ship where the first game takes place in and just stares as we hear a stomach grumble. In this interpretation, Thin Man is also speculated to be Mono going through a time loop to stop his younger self from helping Six so he won't be betrayed only to become a self-fulfilling paradox. Others think it's simply Mono just not having any use for Six anymore and just lets him go. Some feel that Six knew by that point that Mono & Thin Man are the same, but didn't know that letting him go results in that.

@@lusverma2136 i agree, seems to be what the theories are, im leaning towards the theory on Shadow Six being her seperated soul, considering Shadow Six guides Mono to the tower in the last little stretch and sorta looks disappointed at Six in the secret ending scene, so i think the Six who drops Mono is the survivalist husk that we meet in the Maw that eats living rats and gains a witch's power

If anyone was confused about the end of little nightmares 2 basically:
(Spoiler warning)
Little nightmares 2 is in a time paradox, the reason the thin man went after six is because the thin man is Mono (as seen in the normal ending). He’s trying to save another version of himself from being betrayed by Six by capturing her so that the time paradox will end, but it never will. Mono will always be betrayed and turn into the thin man. He will never succeed in stopping the time paradox.

So basically, the main character is the thin man that comes out the tv. It's basically a loop where you constantly play through the story, beat the thin man, and get stuck in the signal tower there to repeat the cycle. The tower warps and stuff to change reality itself, that's why everything is so mutated and Six looked like a monster in the tower. Six let's you go because you're a threat to her safety, you have saved her, but every time you've saved her it's because she's been with you.

the tower specifically corrupts those based around their greatest desires (this is seen throughout the game in the form of its area bosses, from the hunter to the doctor, their corruption is based on their desires)
I disagree with your conclusion, I don’t think six letting you go at the end is to break the cycle, but is part of the cycle, as our protagonist needs to be dropped to become the thin man, and six probably needs to be on her own to end up at the maw (which she does end up at, as this is a prequel)
to clarify, a loop doesn’t mean a time loop, the thin man you fight in the game for example, isn’t an older iteration of the protagonist, but simply someone like the protag, an incredibly gifted individual who probably also attempted to take down the tower (there are also theories that this last persons partner ended up at the mistress of the maw in the first game)

My girl is playing it right now, we're starting over because we missed a bunch of the glitching remains. We were at the spot with the flashlight you had to tag monsters with. But so far we both absolutely love it, loved the first and even got the comics for more lore. Hope it stays around for a while, badass series thus far.

The biggest mistake of Little Nightmares 2 is the fact that this isn’t coop.
Apparently they tried to implement co-op, but it just wouldn’t work with the game engine and they couldn’t make it work in time of the release.
co-op wouldnt work with the game considering you get seperated from six on several different occassions
It just wouldn't have worked as co-op, since it would both remove the feeling of being isolated and it would screw over whomever would be playing Six, seeing as how she's not always with Mono.
it would be cool but wouldn't work right in the cases where six gets taken for it to work they would both have to be playing key roles to story progression and not rely on each other as much

Wow, i have completely forgotten about this franchise. Amazing that it came back.
Think of it as this she saved and killed mono. she put him in a never-ending loop and cycle but saved him from her overcoming hunger. that's why when shadow six appears she is hungry. when she got hungry at the end the shadow tilted her head to the page of the ship. this probably was meant to remind six what she did on the ship and what she did to the people around her think about it.

@@urlll If one of your reasons for this being a prequel is Six having no powers, it is because the signal tower was blocking them. When Mono destroyed the tower, it stopped the signal, making Six's powers reactivate, and causing dark six to appear.

the only issue I ran into was combat with small enemies but that’s a small portion of the game
@@bigoblivion That was one of the issues I had too. The other was that Six's AI would glitch out a lot, making progress impossible unless I reloaded a checkpoint.
sometimes she blocked me in vents where movements were vital but only during my second playthrough

What happened in my first and second play was that where she was supposed to do something like open a door or turn a crank, she wouldn’t, and would just stand there. I spent half hour thinking I was missing something until I restarted the checkpoint only to have six open a door for me to climb on!

Nevertheless, looking at the ending it is sure that the Little Nightmares 3 would be out without fail.
There's a chance it won't happen, not for story or motivation reasons, but because of legal contracts and agreements. Bandai Namco owns the rights to Little Nightmares and Tarsier is a part of another company that I can't remember the name of right now. If Bandai comes to Tarsier with a budget and Tarsier wants a higher budget, Bandai could just go to somebody else to do it, in which case, would it still even be Little Nightmares?

I don’t know I think it’s all a continuous loop that needs to end which is why the thin man (mono) gets six and tries to grab mono to stop him from repeating the loop and saving him from his prison
