Hi Pete, I just turned 60. I was a concrete worker for many many years which broke my body down. If I was smart enough to watch you when you first started your you tube channel I would be out of the five boroughs of NYC and living like you guys. I absolutely love your channel . My wife and I watch your videos over and over. THANK YOU BOTH FOR BRINGING SUCH JOY TO US . I know you guys are working hard and we appreciate it. God bless you both and your children and your animals.
Pete, have you ever thought of making a video to play on repeat for customers at the farmers market? Showing the animals/birds enjoying life in the pasture followed by a clip on how you prepare a cut of your meat? Just clips of cows, cooking, birds, cooking, pigs, cooking, repeat?
Keep him in line Hillary ! Hes just a little boy at heart ! You two are funny. Blessings !!!
I'm always amazed that the cattle respond to one simple phrase. "C'mon cows!" And they troop along behind Pete like he's the Pied Piper of Lansing.
🚶♂️🐂🐃🐂🐃🐃🐂🐃🐂🐂🐃 🐂🐃
Pete, though I am sure that you probably won't read this, my wife and I came to see you at the farmer's market on Saturday (July 16 2022) from Toronto Canada. We bought pork sausages from you. I BBQ'd them last night and tonight, and I have to say that they were among the best we have ever had. Thanks so much! 🙂
I’m glad you enjoyed the sausage!!
That calf's offering to your shirt reminded me of the days on the ranch when we youngsters had the dubious honor of herding the cattle into the branding chute. That entailed using the cow's tail as guiding tool by wrenching it up and around. They moved, but they let your know they didn't appreciate it in the same way your little one did to you. That and stepping on your boots---and our muck boots weren't hard toed, either. I'm 78 and still have the visible effects of a hoof on a toe! Thanks for the memories---I think. . . .🙂
Hi Pete & Hillary from SC. Hot here.
I like the way the cows "moo" at you & just follow (mosey) along when you call them. They talk a lot. The new calves are so cute, I like that color. Those piglets are so funny to watch; running & hiding from you. All those chickens rushing out the door when you open up the hutch does remind me of the end of the school day, as another viewer commented. Flowers for your lady...sweet! 💐❤🐖🐷🐮🐄🐔🐣🐥🐤🐓🦃
All videos with Hilarie are of the highest quality. Nicely done.
I know I'm not the only person to have told you this... I love how cheerful you always are, your sense of humor (love your doors 😆) and starting my day watching your newest video always makes my day better... 👍 Thanks!
⁰⁰⁰⁰
...and Hill's smile is absolutely gorgeous...
really both your smiles makes the day a little bit brighter...😊
Fun to watch the hens burst out of the coop; funny piglets hiding in the weeds, the adorable new calves, and yummy pork steaks. Hope you get rain soon. We’ve been getting rain in North Carolina but seems to always arrive in a deluge. 💕 the videos.
As Morgan Gold would say, "RELEASE THE CLUCKERS!!!!".
Think Pete has said, they like clowns..I see like the circus just hit town...cracks me up..helps my day so much
My 87 year old dad just passed on July 2. Terminal cancer. The day before he passed we were all kidding and joking around with each other (especially him). Yes it was very sad but he was in good spirits until the end. You just keep up the joking and laughter always. 😊
i’m sorry for your loss
Nice touch with the flowers, Captain! Best of luck fighting the drought. We enjoy every video and all the animals AND the recipes! See you soon!
Love it!
Love the colors of the new calves. It's kind of scary watching you put them on your shoulders. Always enjoy watching you and Hillary working together. Thanks for sharing Captain Obvious.
Sometimes when you say "Come on cows.", I find myself clicking my fingers. ! 😋 It works for some creatures...
Loved the lil pigger antics. The one zipping about, and the one who decided that air is less preferable to pig slop. "No breathe! Only food!" *Buries snoot in pig slop*
Watching you call the cows never gets old. So funny and must be very convenient for you when you need to move them. Hope things are well with you and yours.
The piglets sure are cute!!! 😁
I like seeing all the chickens come out. I only have 6 but, it's a very small version of that when I let them out in the morning.
So cheerful but what a lot of work. I remember it seemed never ending sometimes. But like the seasons there are quieter times. Thanks for sharing and letting a dreaming old farmer tag along.
Pete, we enjoy watching and learning from your videos. Neither my husband or I were raised on a farm so we have a lot to learn. We are in the process of closing our business so my husband can focus more on farming (I will still be working full time at the hospital). Since I’m the medical one I am responsible for all the medications. I would really enjoy watching an episode on you working your animals (cows and pigs) to see how/when you vaccinate and worm and what products you like to use. Maybe some information on feed and supplements. Just thought I would throw this out there, as I’m sure you always need new video coverage. Thanks for all the knowledge and entertainment that you continuously provide.
I agree with you, heritage breed pork is the best and worth every time.
Thanks for taking us along.
Hey Pete just wanted to say my day was going terribly and I have a baseball game tonight which I felt terrible about but when that notification came up my day was a lot better thank you Pete ❤️
Thank you two for being such good farmers. Tuff job and you two do it well. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful thing you do for all of us.
I was drooling over those pork chops captain obvious 😀 nice vid as always Pete
You guys are adorable. Thanks for sharing your lives with us!
Pete out there creating new wrestling moves on the calves lol jk absolutely love your videos, you and Hillary have changed mine and my wifes goals in life! Keep up the good work and God bless
Big Panda Bear Hugs from a 68 yr old grandma in Texas, USA 🐼 ❤ 🎀 👍 🧚♂ 🐈 🧚 🍀 💐
Love how you go through the doors! Can’t believe people would complain about that.
Pete, you have some really adorable calves, and your jokes, Ha-Ha! It's nice that we can take some time out of our stressful lives and have some good old-fashioned kidding around. Loved your jokes, thanks, hope you and Hilarie and your kids had a great dinner and I hope you all have a great week.
Remember the old Winston and Salem commercials where they trained everybody to finish their jingle for them? You've got me saying "Hi, I'm Pete ..." even when you don't.
Love your videos keep up your great family values and love how you show the care for your animals. And Hillary is awesome and your a very lucky man Pete.
Animals, cooking, Hilarie, and jokes. Perfect !!! 👍👍
Hope you're getting these nice showers we're getting today !
You guys are simply outstanding. A real joy to watch. But you just had to go make us hungry. 🙃
These vids just makes me want my own farm even more. Thank you Pete. For sharing. It helps seeing a good farmer.
You two are fantastic. Thank you for making us a small part of your farm and family.
I think you two are the cutest couple on RUclips. You had some adventure with the cows and the pigs also the chickens. Those chickens are getting very big.GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
🌻🌻🌻❤❤❤😊😊😊🐥🐥🐥
So much life afoot on the farm. Chickens clucking about, turkeys wandering about, piglets scurrying about, hogs laying about, and cattle bellyaching (as usual). Those chops look amazingly delish. Congrats on the new calves.
Disney should give you your own educational show on the farm. The kid’s would love it just as much as us adults. These next generation’s to come need a wonderful soul like yourself that inspire.🙏🏼
Captain, obviously you did the right thing to pick up a bouquet of flowers for the most beautiful flower in your life! The pork chops are delish! 🤗🤗💜🤗🤗
Living in Southern California's intermediate desert where admitedly it is beautiful with it's golden fields and hills and hugh mountain ranges, where the "palms meet the pines" (that's our motto 😉😄) your 3 second opening scene of your landscape was BEAUTIFUL!!
I enjoy starting my days watching you two working together, being together, living a good life. All the best.
Hope you're getting some much-needed rain today, we had a nice morning of rain up in the Mohawk valley.
Love your calves they look great love their color too !
Thanks for the great videos !
Thank you Pete for the great content as usual
We had mostly pork on the farm. I'll take a pork chop over a steak any day. I also make what is called Smothered Pork Chops. It's made with up of a gravy made with onions and sugar poured over the chops and baked (covered) for over an hour. The meat falls apart and gets the flavor of the gravy throughout. 😊😊😊
You two are the most adorable couple on RUclips! Thanks for sharing with us your wit and look into your lives. Much appreciated and wishing you an evening of relaxation. ~ Jan in Ohio :-)
As much as I enjoy watching you walk through doors I feel I need to quote Christopher Walken "I need more COWBELL" 🐄 😁
"Come on cows" is my favourite part, I just love it!
enjoyed the moving and catching of the young cows, the hiding of the piglets, and the cooking of the pork. have a great dayl.
Sad climate 🌡️🔥☀️. Love when the cows follow and listen. So Adorable! Take care of their existence! And Thank God For Providing meat in moderation! 🐮🐄💚
I love your videos - especially todays. It is so good to watch loving couple's communications. Keep it up... Sherry...
It is good that you are teaching people about what it takes to produce our food.
Another great presentation from Pete and his wife, so funny the way the cows respond to you calling them.
Fun to watch the cows follow you from pasture to pasture, well, not always. Another day brightening video.
Love watching you guys. Thanks for bringing us along!
It’s hot, it’s dry, and it’s mid-July and the work never ends. Be safe out there, keep up the good work, and make the best of it. Thanks for the video.
Y'all are so much fun. Great day. Thanks as always.
All I can say is "I love it!" Great to see you and Hillary together. You're a really great team..
I love watching you two work together…🤭
We got some badly needed rain Sunday in southern Illinois.
Our 3 year old loves the animal focused videos. :-)
I hope you got the rain we got here in Cortland today. So soothing.
Cute couple! Thank you, I enjoyed the video. Can't wait to see the piglets grow.
The lugh and the giggles is what I need at the end of a ling hot day cheers guys
I’m not a farmer but I just love watching your videos, so relaxing 😌 you and your wife is adorable.
Beautiful animals, I live how the cows allow you to take their calf. Some farms back home the cows would charge you and make sure you get tought a lesson. Through that door again 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣.
I believe you about the chops - my family much prefers pork over beef, any day! I swear I can smell them while you're cooking! Thank you SO much for your awesome videos!
You two are sweet! My husband's been gone since 2010. Man! Love and be sweet and kind to each other everyday. He's on my mind frequently. Have a wonderful day.
Ah, bless you.
Pete, you are the only guy I know that can get pooped on and just keeps on smiling. You an Hillary make my day. God bless you and the kids.
It’s amazing how those cattle follow you great job people
Wish you guys get some rain. We had 2 inches yesterday (Sunday the 17th) and we had 1.5 inches on the previous Wednesday. You're getting good at sorting the cattle. Love to hear them bellowing at you.HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Just remember Pete, A happy life is a Happy wife.
You must have had a complaint about walking through too many doors! Hillarious! 'Close the door, were you born in a barn?' Hahaha Love when you call the cows!
I just LOVE when you call the cows. They just know its time for a different part of the pasture! Hillary, You are just too good!!! Pete, love to watch you grill, and give us hints. I am not one that is able to cook a nice and tender juicy pork....Maybe with your hint, of the brine, I will have success. THANKS!!! Bev in Maine
Loved this video from beginning to end - thank you!
I think you have the sweetest wife so soft spoken so pretty and I think she loves working alongside of you and I believe you love to tease her it looks like you both have great love for each other and love working on the farm together
Hi Pete thanks for uploading this!!!!
Sometimes when you say "Come on cows.", I find myself clicking my fingers. ! 😋 Works for some creatures.
Hi Pete and Hillarie, I just love your videos! Thank you for the clean, wholesome and informative entertainment. Thanks also for the grilling tips. I never thought to brine pork chops.
So glad to see you two together. Enjoy every moment.
I enjoy you two so much, yall make me smile! Thanks! 😊 ❤
Great video Pete love the content keep up the good work.
Hi Pete, I would like to see a timelapse of the chicken going back in the trailer at night.
You took the meaning ‘marked for death’ to a whole new level when you sprayed which cows were to be butchered.
Enjoyed the video Pete. Can’t see what’s wrong with going through doors. You video what you do; how could that not included doors? Some people will complain about anything!
Love the way you and Hilary work and interact with each other. You are certainly blessed to have Hilary as your wife, although she may be blessed too🙂🙂
Those pasture/broiler chickens look ready. Your Webber BBQ always makes me hungry.
Hope you have a great week yall stay safe out there 💙
pete you are a true cow whisperer.
Love the interaction between you and Hillary! This was one of the best videos!
Those sure are some pretty baby calves and piglets. Take care Pete and Hilary I sure hope you get some rain soon.
Really enjoy your presentation style. Thanks for reminding me how much work goes into running a farm.
I love when Hillary is sassy , !!🥰
Pete I was amazed at how much of a fit the cows throw when you catch them. You both must get injured from those hooves. I love your videos and following along with your farm.
I live in the city but Really enjoy watching your farm video's. I love your sense of humor and most of your jokes too. thank you for allowing all of us to come along with you on your work day.
Hello Peter & Hillary. The cows are happy! The chops look yummy. Love getting some advice from you about grilling meats. Be well.
Love your videos. I just finished binge watching 2 years of your vids. All caught up now. Dad jokes are awesome. You're a big inspiration to me. PS Get the MD going again. I loved the story of that tractor and to see your dad drive it again.
Awesome work as always! Thank you Pete!
You’re gonna have a tv show before long. “Lansing: Just a Few Acres Farm”
I know you could pullet off, and that’s no bull. 😊
😍 LOVED seeing all the chickens flood out! :)
I can't believe you can fit all that on 40 acres. We've got 20 and are *bursting* at the seams with 4 cows, 4 calves, 10 chickens, and gardens! That's not even with a drought or harsh winters!
Pete’s the kinda guy that likes to go through doors unapologetically.
