The calves running around together was absolutely adorable.
Yes! It's like human kids - they have more in common with each other, rather than with the adults! Lol.
Yep loved that moment too x
S😊@@ohiohiker4301 ❤
Those calves running around looked like a playground for kindergarden.........they looked so cute.
My favorite channel for independent farms! There are several other one's that are good to, but I just feel like you're talking to me as a individual. Thanks and keep up the great work 😊 Oh and thanks for the diagram that helped!! Lol
Time flies, it seems that we just saw them born and look how fast they are growing.
My grandfather was from a small town farming family in Georgia. Unfortunately he passed away and I feel closer to him when I watch your videos. Thank you for the content.
Awww 💛💛💛
Sorry for your loss
So sorry for your loss
Best channel for info, I’m addicted at this point. I have learned so much from you and your family. Thank you sir!
Hey Pete & Hillary. Great video. Lots of "talkers" amongst the cows today. I loved seeing the calves running together like a group of friends. Those piglets are so funny when you feed them...they dart out & dart back into the tall grass. Fast little buggers.
Just a Few Acres Farm addictive and wholesome content . Thanks Pete
The moochers are very loud Pete! I wish you and you family the best in these hard times.
I so love the little piggers when they suddenly all appear x
Definitely the very most organized farm channel on RUclips and you explain everything in detail and your caring and patient with the animals. If you were to say you were a teacher before instead of a architect I'd believe it. Very smart
I appreciate how you explain what you do without telling me what to do.
Thanks RS, that is the idea. Many good ways to farm, and you have to do what works for you.
I love every time you feed those little pigs their slop, listening to the bubble, bubble, slurp, slurp. I'll be sad when they're on dry feed. 😄
Lesson learned - being calm and patient is a big deal.
Thank you Pete and Hillary, for sharing your videos with us. Thank you both, for being good examples for others. This life you're living is not for everyone. But it is a way of life we cannot afford to lose. Thank you again for being good teachers. 🇺🇸
Always fun to watch the process. It's nice see how you handle the cows, not yelling at them but waiting on them and seeing it all work out. Very enjoyable. Thanks Pete and Hillary.
So good to show the battle plans to a good breeding season. The culling of the cattle is our way of helping nature on the survival of the fittest. Many people don’t understand that because they have never been farmers. Fresh genetics prolongs the survival of a good herd, with minimal problems
I always laugh when the little pigs magically appear from the brush.
The calves looked so cute running around together. Super sweet. They look like they can be a handful in certain situations
They can be. trust me I farm and one year we (me, dad and grandpa) were moving cows and calves, the calves went into the other field and I was chasing them for and hour. On foot. At teatime.
@@Grahamkavanaghfarming 🤣🤣🤣. That's so funny. I bet you weren't to happy about that
Omg,the piggy sounded like they were blowing bubbles. 😂hahaha. I love this video. All six baby cows looked like they formed a gang. I enjoyed watching you and hilary. Thanks again for the video. God bless.
The calves running off together was so funny. I enjoy watching the piglets show up to feed from the brush, and the one dashing by the camera was so funny. Always great videos Pete and Hillary.
We always call our calves Juvenile Delinquents. They are always getting into trouble and misbehaving, but they are what makes farming great!
Hahaha. Trimming the bush had me rolling. Love your sense of humor. This channel rocks! Keep em coming😄
And love the pig snorkeling on the slop
Lota moving and shaking goings-on on! 😅 Looks like you got them all separated into the correct areas.... Stay safe. Peace and good fortune and good health to you and your family.
The first bull was like “Hurry up Dad, its spring brake”. Open that darn door😂
Humans and animals here .. all look so relaxed. It's work! Something wholesome about their life.. 👍. When I watch the videos, think I'm there working with them. Feel my blood pressure falling! Awesome life .. different for sure. Something wholesome about this life 👍
I feel like I'm watching an episode of Mr Rogers Neighborhood. Calm cool demeanor and in total peace with what you're doing in your life. God is truly with you.
Lol The calves went on an adventure. ❤️
It looks like the animals are enjoying life.
Hi Pete and Hilary, I just love how calm you are doing all the stuff with the herd and even if it does not go how you were hoping, you just stay calm. Thnx for that, a long time ago I worked in the pork industrie at a big butcher company. I could not stay there because they mistreated the animals so much that it gave me nightmares 🤐 I love to see the farming you 2 do because you do it with Love. Have a great evening and see you soon By
Another great video Pete! I am currently working on my grandfathers 1959 Farmall 460. The radiator is shot and I was wondering where you have gotten radiators for your Farmalls?
Hi Robert, I have found that Northern Radiator has good quality.
Minus the ohio state shirt (GO BLUE!!) loved the video!! Reminds me of my wife and I sorting our pigs and getting them into breeding pens. You guys work great together!
I just love your humor. I laugh and learn at the same time. Thank you, we all need a laugh right now.
I LOVE how you guys were reasoning with the cows.. "you CAN´T come in!!" - "moooowhh"!😆😆
Thanks for another good day on the farm. We were actually close by and thought of you guys when the rain storms rolled through. So glad for the rain. Take good care and say "Hi" to Ezra for us.
Well done Pete and Hilary, such fun and great patience.
Pete. I'm fairly new to your site. Really enjoying your videos and have learned a lot. You are an excellent teacher and have so many common sense things. Like most of us, I often thought about doing what you did. I went down an agricultural path, but never did any farming. Your wife is special too. She does so many things with you. I'm a retired farm appraiser, with a background in adult education. Your equipment and tractors are what I grew up with. We have been married 55 years and worked together nearly 50 years. Thank you for such an entertaining site. I also watch "Just a few Acres" They have done wonders with that farm. He must have been a professional fence installer.
Your videos make my day, my week and recently husband sits and watches too. We both enjoy you relating your experiences plus you have a great talent to speak & hold the attention of us, and we're sure a diverse audience. All the very best to you & yours.
Watching & learning from 🇦🇺
I've never seen your channel, but I must say this one was most enjoyable. I like the war terminology you used. If I was not retired I would show the first part on sorting to my US History class and ask them to listen for the war terms you used. As well as explain their war reference and why you chose them. Maybe use their answers for extra credit. Plus, it was so nice to see a calm and informative youtube with no drama. Keep on keeping on. Joy Giles
The calves are so cute! Naughty, but cute! And the piglets!
Sad to see Peanut selected as one of the four cows going to the butcher in 2023. I enjoyed following the episodes as you nursed her back to health earlier in the year. But I completely understand. I'll enjoy seeing her in future videos for the next year. Love the channel. I watch it every day.
I love the sound the little piglets make when there eating 😂😂😂 their so timid!
I was thinking Hillary needed a cattle panel in front of her to keep those calves from running into the pasture again. They are so cute.
l am still a pig lover after all these years. Even had some in 4-H. You and your wife do a great job with your lovely farm! Keep those enjoyable videos coming!
I think it was a calf conspiracy. The calves were planning their getaway for a long time....they were just waiting for the right moment.....hahahaha🤣
Another good video Pete!! Great show!!!
I love it...dreaming to do this for my family. Children should learn all of this. Nature is Life.
Either way that it goes entertainment, information or just for the humor 😁 mixed in " Just A Few Acres" don't change a thing Pete you great delivery.
He is excellent presenter
“You got pooped on, that’s not cool!” Admiral Obvious strikes again 😂
My 6 year old son likes watching Pete because he tells you stuff you don't know
Nice to see the two of you with big smiles!
Getting my daily fix of Pete and in this video Patty!
That was fun watching the calves running and playing
I am just glad we are not the only people that have trouble with calfs going through fences
Thanks for the video, always enjoy watching!
I’m glad y’all finally got some rain. The piglets are growing fast!
I'm from England and came across your vids recently and i am totally hooked. well done.
Awesome video I love the 6 calves running around lol I've had to chase calves around. Your always really patient with them too and not pushy or angry with them , It's good to see that
Sounds like “Just a Few Belly-Achers Farm!”
Pete, the best laid plans of you and Hilary. Keep up the great work, I am glad to hear you finally got some rain.
Such a joy to hear your voice.
Thank you for the video.
Every time I watch a video, you’ve gotten 1-2 thousand more subscribers…congratulations!
Love, love, loved watching the calves running around. Epic adorableness.
Thank you so very much for uploading this Pete. I can’t wait till you uploaded another video!
I really enjoyed this video. Thanks.
So cute. The babies running free…havin fun🐄!
I enjoy watching you work. Thank you for taking the time to film, edit, and post!
Pete! I wanted to thank you for the suggestions in a previous video to check out both Farmer Tyler Ranch & Country View Acres RUclips channels. I was already a subscriber to Evan's channel and now am really enjoying the content from Farmer Tyler! I grew up on a farm with black angus beef cattle in the 60's - I remember those time fondly as I watch this content. Please keep up all the good work!
Pete: "C'mon cows!". Cows: "C'mon man!".
I just love this man he’s like the Bob Ross of farming ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I sure do love the videos. Thanks for answering all my questions.
So can you tell me why he let the bulls out before the cows were separated? Thank you!
Most beautiful scenery 🥰 8:35
That seems like a whole lot of work to me. You’ll get ‘er done I’m sure. Thanks for sharing 😊
Love your farm! Please keep peanut safe.
Oh my , I am always chuckling with the cows. Very cute all the little ones running away!
I really like seeing the piglets emerge from the brush.
Always learn something with Mr. Pete.

You and your wife have a great attitude. Thanks for the smile. Have a beautiful day 💛 ✌
Nice wranglin' work there Pete/Hilarie. You two make a great team. Always enjoy it when you work the cattle.
Oh my goodness, I chuckled watching the calves find their "freedom" for a few minutes. Don't you just love it when their hooves go flying! It was the highlight of your video. I like the way you and Hillary work together to get the heifers separated.......And, the bulls will surely enjoy their work. They have been waiting for awhile now. Thanks for sharing your system with us.....It was a pleasure. AND.....One cannot overlook the wonderful "trim" job you did on the bush!!! God bless you both, Bev in Maine
I enjoy when y'all are working the cows get confusing times who goes where , the calves are site to see they just wanted the field to their selves just romp cans run, always like watching you and Hillary work together such A Blessing 😍😃🌻😊
Wow! I didn't realize how vocal cows are! Thanks for educating you viewers55
Hello Pete, First let me say thank you for sharing your journey and life with us all. You do a wonderful job telling us about all the adventures and trials about life on a small farm. You have a great command of the English language and you tell your stories with feeling. I have been watching the channel for several months. I enjoy all of your videos. Yesterday I had a few hours free so I went back through your older videos. I saw Sammy's store as well as Rose's store. I am sure it must be like loosing a family member after several years together. Thank you again and I pray for your success and your family. Art
Its so nice to watch your channel grow. I'm new. I think your subscription # was 285,000ish a couple of weeks ago. Now 291,000ish.
Good for y'all!
Great info, as always. Cows are unique creatures. They have to think something is their own idea to do it! I know people like that, too!
Your methods of farming, hurding, and animal husbandry are rooted in the practice of "doing what's best of my animals". I adore your farm, and will continue to faithfully watch... and live vicariously through you as well. Much thanks for the content. Two huge thumbs up for your gentle methods.
I live in baldwinsville NY, and I think it’s just the coolest thing ever to see farming done with the same weather we have, you go to the same places, like the auction for example, and just behind the scenes work of a farmer. It’s so cool knowing you’re only about a hour, hour and a half from me. It’s so neat! Love your channel so much, and your cheesy dad jokes!🤣❤️
A Ohio State and Michigan shirt on the same person? Guess there is a first time for everything.🤣. Great Video
It’s always amazes me to see animals grow so rapidly from grass, hay and water. Your nice compact domesticated breeds seem to make handling much easier too. Pleasure to watch.
That was fun...thx!!
🐾😎💞
Please allow me to THANK YOU for sharing your farm life. My granddaddy had a successful farm which I never got to experience. I really wish I could have been a part of that life. But, through your videos, I am learning a lot about a wonderful way of living, and how much of yourself you put into your & your wife's style of living, property & animals' welfare🥰. And it's very nice, that you are such a likeable guy. Big thumbs up!
Lthe pigs are so funny, running away from you and the calfs, so adorable! Good thing you have a lot of patience! You and Hillary are a joy! Keep on smiling! God bless🤗🤗❤
The door thing cracks me up everytime!!!
I love to see the calves together... they sure are prettty calves.
That feeding scene with the piggers reminded me when I ran heavy equipment at a landfill in Florida many years ago. The last truck was taken at 4:30 or 5 and the we had to cover the compacted garbage with dirt we staged after scraping it off what was covered the previous night. I’m not kidding you could set a watch by it. The Ferrell pigs would come marching down the hill in rows of 2 or 3 dow for dinner that night. In the morning they would have it rooted up and torn all to shreds for being in there all night. It was finning seeing yours sneaking out of the weeds reminding me. Great videos. Thanks for sharing your day with us !
Thanks for tonight's dinner show! That was a fun one! Went will with MacDaddy burgers and a Caprese salad. Keep up the great work!
