Woo Pasture day! The one day Patty doesn't complain... For a few hours!
Seeing the cows run in the pasture for their first spring outing makes me smile 😊
It is boring
So peaceful listening to the cattle munching on the grass, hope you and the family are well Pete.
That's right, I've been to a farm with nearly 200 cattle in the pasture and the atmosphere there was so peaceful,
I’m going to reverse the saying: Happy man, happy wife; happy creatures! 🤗

Whoa! Green tall padture grass, smoking good meat on the grill, chicks crowing and growing, pregnant cows mingling, bully bulls set apart, pigs fattening up, sunny skies, buds on trees, bermuda shorts on Farmer Pete. All is good on Just a Few Acres!

I started watching you and Hillery because I like animals. Now it has grown to watch you both work together in a peaceful and contented way. Burdock seed pods. Annoying, Horses and cattle would come up from the woods covered in burdock seeds. Horse mane's and tails a matted, mess. We would cover our fingers with motor oil. Yup! You would rub it on the burdock and work them out. What a mess. The horses would fall asleep while they stood there cleaning them up. I think it was their secret plan. Thanks Pete and Hillary.

I was watching this am and thought that you might think about charging new farmers to come to your farm daily and get hands on education. Keep them as help doing the chores under your supervision becoming a great farmers. You treat your animals they way God wants us to treat everything. Keep up your great videos! Pete it is nearly midnight here and way after dinner but I do wish I could have that first bite. Yumyum.
Q: do you drench the cows against flies? I hardly can wait for the weekend "my babies" coming home. Truly my neighbour cows and they go and back between two paddock which is two sides of a major road. So I get up and help stopping the traffic until they all cross the road. Than I'll have them our side for about 3 month. Winter is coming they will be here for all winter which is worst senario at night going done to -1C° but no snow just cold air. During the day usually 12-14C°. I do wish I can skip winter for ever. Hope you have enjoyed your yummy food. See you next time and thank you for sharing your life with us. 🐄🐃🐂🐮🦬❤

Fire burns clockwise in the northern hemisphere, and counter-clockwise in the southern hemisphere.
...Unless you live in a country that uses the metric system. If so, then reverse the rotation.
..and at the equator, you light it in the middle and it burns both ways. The northern side will burn in inches and the southern will burn in millimeters.

Don't tease like that, I could have jumped through my computer screen to get a taste of that pork, I think some people miss the simpler, but more worked for things in life, they just want fillet steak or ready prepared Pizza.

Beautiful pasture. Here grass is barely 1.5-2 inches tall and wheather is still cold. The animals will have to wait a bit.
Watching the cattle being released into the field always takes me to a bible verse, "And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall." (Malachi 4:1)
What a fun day, letting the cows out, listening to the chickens and watching the cows determine their place in the group.
