Greyhound customers shocked with closing, relocation of downtown Louisville bus station

- Greyhound customers went to catch a ride in Louisville on Tuesday and found that the bus station had moved locations with no notice.
The change came as a shock to many Greyhound travelers, who were left wondering where they would catch their ride.
The new location is four blocks away from the former station on West Muhammad Ali Boulevard, between Seventh and Eighth streets, in downtown Louisville.

If you think Greyhound sucked before it really sucks now.
Lawsuits need to fly against this company having people wait outside in not so safe areas ridicules. Greyhound sucks.
It's an indoor station that's open twenty four hours a day with restrooms and vending machines inside! It has a Wendy's in the parking lot and a McDonald's across the street!
Greyhound is doing this sort of thing all over the country. Here in Las Vegas Greyhound was downtown for the longest. Now they at a city bus terminal way by the south end of the strip.
It's not Greyhound anymore. The German company 'Flixbus' bought them out last year
It’s now a double wide trailer mobile home
Bus stations cost money and Greyhound is tired of paying when Megabus and other competitors pick you up anywhere. So they'll look for a deal from the city or somebody on a place they can move and all or most of their previously owned downtown bus stations across the country will be demolished and rebuilt into something else. Greyhound as we knew it is over.
The area looks seedy and has seen better days. I wouldn't want to go there.

They literally moved down the street not even a mile away I don't understand why they're making such a big deal about it yes they should have told people but maybe they didn't have the chance to maybe they had to get out

Burn the buses😂 see if greyhound like that they treating people wrong take your money

Great story EXCEPT: no one ever said what Greyhound should have done instead. Everyone says "communicate better". Well, give me three concrete examples. Could you email the customers of the location change? Doubt it. Text message? You would need to know everyone's cell phone that matched a bus ticket, I doubt Greyhound can do that. This isn't like flying where the TSA scans your driving licence or passport before they even let you knew a plane. This is a bus. Resources are limited.
Alright answer this then. In Tampa the greyhound station has been closed for since the end of Jan. THAT IS 6 MONTHS. the location on my boyfriends ticket I bought him last night is still wrong. Explain to me how difficult it possibly could be to just update the ticket location in a 6 month time span?
Actually the new system does allow customers to be called, texted, or emailed in cases like this!
