Thanks for the tutorial on tire repair. As an old city boy, I have been plugging tires when necessary. But that was for a 32 lb. tire. this is what is proper for a 105 lb tire. As far as skinning a coyote, I have only done deer and antelope.
That's right, plugs are a temporary fix. I've noticed that they hold much better in a premium tire, maybe more steel belting. That's my son's small business, putting up fur and selling it locally, not bad for a 15 year old.
Wow..I've been out of the shop for like 8 or 9 years so wasn't sure how much it is now, but like you said time is money too when you need to get back on the road

$85 just had one patched a few weeks ago.
