It has definitely gotten me playing more PS5 then before i had the portal. I like having the tv on as background noice and it this makes it easy to do that. also sometimes i like to go upstairs and play it in bed instead of having to sit infront of the tv to play it. Its also a way better option when you go on vacation then having to bring the whole ps5 with you . Theres definitely some revisions that need to happen if they release another portal but i love mine since day 1
I’m glad you like it! Playing in bed is the one thing I’ve not done because I usually have to get up early, but I have played it while having the tv on in the background. Makes it easier to work through side quests and stuff like that
For me the rising graphic card prices made me play PS again.

Great video as always Tom, really like that you always find the positives of things and that you are enjoying the portal. So many reviewers are hating on it due to it’s reliance on the PS5, but really liked how you found the positives, such as compelling you to play more of a game, I suffer from also not finishing a game due to too many options. It’s also nice, in my opinion, that it is a device that caters to such a specific person and use case, as you say, we already have the Steam Deck, Switch and retros etc so it’s nice to have something different for those that it will suite their needs too

Run a cable from the console to the portal? It would be nice to have an option like that!
