I was immensely grateful that I came across your RUclips videos, loved each one of them. Your in-depth knowledge with the cards, how you understand the changes in their meanings with respect to changes in circumstances. You are a very receptive soul and your long nose only confirms the wisdom you are blessed with. I am not flattering you but I have loved each and every video you have listed on RUclips. I understand that each and every one of us goes through our own individual learning cycle and I suppose as far as my learning graph is concerned, for the past few years I have felt a sense of stagnation in the same. I am grateful I came across your videos, your work speaks for itself. My best wishes and hope you prosper in the days to come. God bless.

I don't like regarding court cards as individuals. Rather, I look at their suits and place them in the four elements. Easier for me.
Kings/fire, Queens/water, Knights/air, and Pages/earth. I'd be very impressed if someone could recognize my name by doing a tarot reading. If you're able to do this, your a much better reader than I am.

This is your method and that's fine, but it's sort of getting away from the Tarot and from what regular people, like questioners, can relate to. The elements? This is just complicating things. Why can't a King be a King-like person? Everyone can understand this, and knows someone in their life who fits the description. Let's keep it straightforward and uncomplicated.

John Ballantrae I agree. I usually don't involve another party in my readings. And I can see why it would be simpler to relate an individual to the cards, but everyone has a trait each court card in them.

Not necessarily - using your method, what about someone with NO planets in Fire signs? Also, court cards as people are describing certain people or certain qualities maybe to be developed or de-emphasized, so it's not about describing the whole person or all people.

John Ballantrae let's say you draw the King of wands. This is the fiery part of fire, for me. If this card lands when concerning myself, I regard it as something I do without thought, almost as a passion. Or, take the King of cups; this for me is the fiery part of water. Depending on why I am using the cards, this for me is an analysis of something I'm passionate about.
As you broke down the court cards by their actions as Kings, Queens and such, I do the same, but with the elements. I'm most familiar with water. One of the main properties of water is reflection. See where I am going?

Water that is still may reflect, but choppy water doesn't. We can't pick and choose what we want and decide it's a "main" property. I mean, we get off-track if we do that. This all seems like a long way to go for a short-cut. It may work for you, but it's a bit too personal or personalized to be of much use to other people. I prefer to talk about what people generally can understand and work with.

So there are almost unlimited interpretations for each card. It can be the questioner, it can be someone else, it can be personality traits; it can relate to past or future or current status; how will the reader know which it is? Do you mention three or four different possibilities until the questioner seems to be able to make sense of it?
