- Let's talk about tarot! I've been asked about my tarot routine & how I do tarot readings for myself, so here I'm sharing my basic tips to help you get started. I'm still a tarot beginner-everything I learned was from my podcast interview with Biddy Tarot, her book and my own personal practice. But tarot has been a fun tool to use for self discovery & guidance when I need it. You'll see how tarot can be a tool to strengthen your intuition and understand what your inner voice is really saying.

I grew up in a Christian family and these things are to be considered "evil" because they say it's witchcraft. But after watching videos of tarot readings for a month, I came to realize that it's not evil at all. I actually enjoy it because it guides me through my decisions in the future. So yeah, I'm tryna buy my own tarot cards now 😄

I was taught the same when I was young. I also overcame these fears. The cards are tools. They help you to call forth wisdom which you already have. That wisdom is inside you. ENJOY!

I can relate too! I've been interested in witchcraft and tarot cards but I was so scared it might be connected to evils and stuff like that like what they're telling me but I want to just connect with the nature and I like to use natural herbs for my hair and skin idk and because I've been feeling this urge to learn more about it but I'm not gonna be praising and believing other gods, I know to myself that there is only one God and I believe in Him and I love reading the bible... I was praying for answers to God if it's ok to explore it and I was searching up if it's really evil and I found that there are Christian witches that are good and still connected to God just they are also connected on nature and to their self and stuff i don't really know much about that, and then after a few months I think I know the answers now, I can feel that God is trying to say it's ok for me to explore because it has been popping up randomly everywhere without me even trying... I guess modern witchcraft is not evil like it was before, just don't go too far to the extent that your beliefs are being change and just always remind yourself what you truly believe and I'm not that knowledgeable about this, I'm a beginner but just I want to remind myself this because I don't want to go too far, not noticing I'm in the wrong path or something... I just really think that this is just for guidance and to know myself more, I'm not gonna rely on it cause it's just the possibility and it inspires you what you can do and stuff. That's just what I think about this right now. I want to love myself more and I want to understand myself more because I was suicidal and I'm glad that God is always sending His message to me through His angels I'm with, that I could be something more than this and that this is not what He has planned for me and that this will end so I really don't think I'm gonna be converting to some other religions because I've felt God and I am a believer. I believe my mission here is to build myself to become an inspiration to others and help people and Just find my way to be a deserving child of God. So when my time comes, I'm not gonna be regretting what I did with my life and I will know that I did my best to be a deserving child of God so I could be with Him at last. That's just what I want... I can feel that it is my mission, my purpose here. I've experienced and been through a lot and that teaches me and I learn from them I just need to get back up with God by my side, He always is and will always be there for all of us...
Back to the topic at hand, my first tarot card experience helped me remember my intention, my why power why I'm doing this, why I want to be better, and remind me that I have potential and I just have to take action. It inspired me. Although I already know the message because God has already sent me the message and I was just kinda overlooking it because I'm not confident and I'm drowning at my bad mindset but I think He used that time to remind me of what I should do. Basically He just answered my questions on what is the next right thing to do now. Just in that time it's a different way and I felt it. I was so grateful for that because now I know what to do. I felt more lighter and just my aura started to light up again and I'm feeling so positive and motivated to do the things I need to do.
Again I'm not a philosopher or something. I just wanted to share my thoughts about it and this is just my opinion and my experience so I'm sorry if you're offended or felt attacked or something.

I did a tarot reading for a friend (I'm very new to tarot) and she said I basically told her what her therapist had said to her. Mind you, she hasn't spoken to me about any of her sessions with her therapist so I was kinda shook on how accurate the reading went.

Did you learn to read tarot by reading books about tarot or did you learn by seeing and interpreting it in your own way?
@@whwjsjhsj a little of both I suppose. I used my tarot book as reference to jot down key words for each card and I did daily 1 card readings for a while to get to know the deck. I still use my notes regularly though

@@ashley464 I come from a Christian household as well. I also hide my oracle cards, Lenormand, and tarot. My family doesn’t know that I use them, and thankfully they give me space. I’d almost rather they find my adult toys, than my tarot cards just because I know they’d say I’m worshipping the devil, but at least with adult toys it’s not quite as “evil” 😅

As someone who has had tarrot be a big part of his life, from my great aunt to my mother to myself; it's a fantastic way to hone your inner wisdom.
We are capable of many great things, and we are capable of overcoming more than we give ourselves credit for. So using tarrot is a great way for the world around you to help guide you in the right direction. It helps by speaking in a launguge only you will understand. Even if you dont feel you do.
With practice one can learn to ground themselves, block out the noise of the battling energies around us, and listen to the simple truths that have been whispering to you all along. Thank you SO much for sharing this!

Not everyone reads the cards reversed. You can do it in whatever way works for you. So spot on in using your Intuition. I use Tarot cards everyday for myself in the morning and it's changed my life! Love how you do this.
I’m debating whether or not to use reversed cards for my own personal readings. Question, with no reverse cards in a reading do you still get a full picture reading 📖 even if you ask for clarification or outcome?
It's a good way to start. When you get proficient reading them upright, then do one small reading (for yourself) with any reversals each day until you're fully comfortable. )🌑(

This is a very.. weird subject for me.
Growing up Christian. I was raised to believe that this "Magic" was to be avoided at all costs.
Now that I have grown, discovered myself, and figured out what these things are truly meant for. They have opened my eyes in so many ways.
I went out to my nearest Crystal Shop and bought Tarot cards as soon as I watched this. It has given me a sense of happiness that I'm really thankful for. Anything that will help remind me, of how strong and capable I am, as well as my mind. ❤

This conversation resonated with me on SO many levels. I grew up too in a Christian household - a strict, manipulative and fearful Christian household. Things like this were never considered or entertained. It wasn't even just a matter of "avoiding" it all, as it was completely condemning it.
But deep inside, I've always had an innate desire for this little world. I've loved the stars and astrology for as long as I can remember. I've identified as pansexual years ago. I've even come to dabble in the art of self-realization with crystals and tarot cards. Literally NONE of this has served the sort of toxicity in my life that my own home had. I've never been more at peace with myself and though I still hear that little voice (who sounds coincidentally reminiscent of my mother lol) that scolds me for the life I live today, I can't find it in me to regret.

I’ve done many readings, and a few of them have already come true. I have my friends coming up to me and asking if I can do readings for them and it makes me so happy. Ever since I became a spiritual seeker, my happiness and motivation has increased and I’ve noticed that my friends have been happier since I started reading and speaking to spirits

I been doing this and is so relaxing. Take a moment to yourself whether your alone. You can even make your own tarot cards with messages to yourself. This has help me get out of depression been mediating and praying it’s just beautiful
Reverse isnt always the opposite / reverse of the explenation ! Sometimes its just a more intense description ! For exemple the tower !
Tarot is life!! Though sometimes you can get mixed messages if you're just using it for yourself and not to help others with your divination. I've noticed since I started my tarot channel/pick a card readings, that my helping others has made the personal messages I receive that much clearer and accurate!

Having the right mindset going into it tarot is definitely important. I'm not much experienced with tarot I'm still in the process of learning it, but from the few spreads I've done I have noticed if I'm having a bad day its hard to use my intuition to interpret the cards.

Some people think of tarot as an awe-inspiring crystal ball that solves all of life's mysteries. For me it's more like looking into a prism, or a series of different color glasses, based on the deck you choose and seeing different the paths available to you. They are tools created by centuries of skill practitioners designed to emulate life's many mortal complications- not to be a stack of mini fortune tellers. Just my two cents. If you want knowledge and revelation in your life, trust in God, he is the source of all knowledge and wisdom. He knows what is best for you. when you go around God, you are not seeking his will for your life. The devil has deceived almost everyone on this channel, and sadly there are a lot of so called Christians on this channel using tarot cards. Servant Of The Lord What is prideful and arrogant is believing you know God’s mind. You do not. What the Bible says is irrelevant to me because I am not a Christian. By all means follow the Bible as a Christian but understand that there are those who believe there are different routes to God. There are different religions because God talks to His children in different ways. Pope John Paul said this as well. If you have a problem with this then by all means, demand an explanation from God when you meet Him. Until then, live and let live. You live in a country where you are allowed the freedom to interact with God in your own way and you have no right to criticize others that do the same. You need to learn to respect the fact that you live in a country with freedom of religion and stop insulting those that have beliefs different than yours.

For example the word homosexual was introduced in 1946 by someone who bribed a translator to go through with it. For you to think that everything on the Bible is factual and concise and has never been mistranslated or misinterpreted through all these years is beyond me. omgg i felt these comments about growing up in a religious home and tarot/other spiritual tools are seen as "evil". to me, i feel like i opened my eyes to see crystals, tarot cards, etc. as tools to help me interact more clearly w spirit and understand myself and my actions more, and what "evil" truly is to me is the fear, doubt, or limiting beliefs that is holding you back from widening your horizons of spirituality and life overall. the world is so much bigger than just earth, we forget that not everything will make complete sense to our tiny human minds living in a whole mf universe with other planets and sm unexplored space. universal intelligence and god is all the same thing, a force that loves us unconditionally, doesn't want to limit us, gives us free will, wants to help us get to our desires, and overall just wants us to expand our souls in this physical vessel we use on earth. ♡

I love this!!! I love that you gave a step by step on how to actually shuffle and draw the cards - I remember when I first started with tarot, I was SO lost on how to actually use it, and no one seemed to be giving that step by step guide!!
One thing I would add (based on how I use my deck) is that if you’re someone who believes in energy, and objects having their own energy, then you can “converse” with your tarot deck! I view that as two forces working with the universe to find some answer; me and the deck. Because shuffling the deck also comes out to pure “chance” you can also ask any guides/angels/whatever you believe in or believe you have to intervene and help with the cards.
Personally I noticed a HUGE difference after I started talking to my deck 😅 So, just giving my two cents on it!!

I was kind of scared of trying tarot cuz people say it’s bad and attracts bad things but I’ve always been drawn to to it and my intentions are purely to connect with my higher self and other divine beings of love and light to help guide myself and get insight of situations, so I bought one last night! I kind of see the cards the same way but i also believe in it as a spirit as well, i believe when i invoke just the deck im calling on the decks spirit and my higher self to gain wisdom that my earthly self cant see, but other times when i invoke the gods im getting divine wisdom that truly can sometimes tell the future (however never a set future, just the future we are creating through our actions at that point in time. We have the power to change any future we see in the cards) and seeing so many people who are from the Christian path coming around to tarot makes me so so happy. Its such a beautiful way to get in touch with higher truths and im so glad more people are opening their hearts to it❤❤

I was always told to not purchase my own tarot deck. I borrowed my mother’s cards until a deck naturally came to me. I had a deck arrive in a goddess provisions box. It was fascinating how I manifested it without asking anyone for it to be gifted to me.
There are also tarot card applications that pull cards for you. I’m not sure how the algorithm works but it’s fun to use it digitally when you can’t carry a deck with you.
