Hey guys, thanks for your detailed feedback and appreciation in the comments! It is also very nice that you are helping each other to resolve the issues with your iDevices. If you successfully recovered your data and find my video helpful, feel free to buy me a coffee (only if you have some spare money after you paid for the iCloud storage 😃): www.buymeacoffee.com/iKirill
Please help, I succseeded on the second try with EasyFlash and the phone turned on but now it says "press home button to restore"!! I don't want to restore it, I want to recover my data! What should I do now?
Kirill, thank you so much for uploading this. I’ve been asking questions in these comments for a few days and finally found something that worked. I have an iPhone XR 128gb that was extremely full and sent me the storage full message for months. I couldn’t remember the last time I updated my iOS. Step 4 worked for me, I easy flashed with 14.4.2 in recovery mode. I tried every other step dozens of times to no result. DONT give up! Keep trying because no matter how full you think your phone is there is a chance.
Also if you see anyone trying to sell software in a video, ignore it. That won’t solve. I believe hes has found the only working solution possible right now
My iPhone 8 64gb is alive and data fully intact, thank you!!! Like previous users stated, don’t give up, keep flashing it with user’s data retention. I ran flash so many times I stopped counting after 20. The time frame was from 3:30pm-3:30am went to bed. Started again at 8:30am and succeeded by 10am!!!! My steps: Recovery mode flash - cycle through all the firmware 14.4.2 and the 2 betas DFU mode flash - repeat the same process for the firmware After every failed attempt, you will notice the percent completion is higher 20%, 24%, 38%, 40%, 60% At the 60% failure, I kept on flashing in DFU mode while cycling through the 3 firmware and at the end 14.4.2 succeeded. Good luck everyone and whatever you do, don’t restore PS: all done with 3utool and turned off my windows firewall PSS: my phone was in the drawer for almost a year until I stumbled upon this video
Thank you for the feedback. I’m over 40 attempts in now and it always get stuck at 35%. Did you turn off windows firewall before or after you downloaded the firmwares? I have it turned off now as well but wondering if I should re-download the firmwares after I turned it off. So glad to hear there are success stories out there, they give me hope to keep on trying
@@Thealiw1 I turned off the firewall before I started flashing. I do not believe you need to redownload the firmwares. I always notice flashing the betas in DFU mode progressed it further.
@@zhushz thanks for the reply! I hope I will eventually see progress in the %. Up to now it has always been 35% and I have at least tried 20 times flashing in DFU mode with pro flash. I can get into dfu mode now using only my feet😜😭 I am starting to think it might be because of the firmware files being downloaded before I turned it off. Maybe I will finally get past 35%
This video is very well organized and step by step. My wife's iPhone XR also showed error 14, and I've tried step 2 now. If a new firmware is released, I will try step 3. And if that doesn't work, I'll try step 4 and 5 as your recommendation. The method of step 5 is highly anticipated. Thank you very much.
Thanks for your feedback! As far as I know, if the iPhone is already in recovery mode, you can "update" it to the current version of the firmware. So it is not that necessary to wait for a new firmware to be released. However, you can of course try updating both with the current and the upcoming version of the firmware. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
I had the exact same problem and was able to successfully update my phone with your video. I wasted several days trying to update via Itunes, which is completely useless. I was about to restore which would result in losing all my data on my phone. Luckily I saw your video and your instructions worked like a charm. I saved all my data. Thank you so much.
If I were in front of you I would give you a hug, Step 4 failed for me but somehow at the next attempt with iTunes I was able to update and recover all my data. YOU DA MAN!!! Cheers from Mexico, KUDOS and Tequilas for you!!
@@enon5233 not through any method ive found on YT no. I did have the Apple store reset my phone and i did figure out what the problem is. The problem is not that you dont have enough space. The problem is if youre using a Windows PC to reset or restore an iPhone. The Windows PC will most likely have some sort of security or firewall preventing iTunes from sending the full firmware. If you try to restore or reset use a Mac if not already.
Thanks a lot for the video, finally worked for me and I got my data back. I kept trying step 3, 4 and 5. and flashing for almost 20 time for 2 days. It worked when I turned off the firewall of my pc and then I was able to update my IPhone 11 with ios 14 by iTunes (although the operation failed but iPhone turned on suddenly afterwards, and started recovering the data). Thanks a lot for the instructions. I cried for 2 days but now I’m so happy and very grateful for your help. Best wishes from Baghdad 💐
Thank you so much for making this video!!!! It just happened to me and I panicked a lot and tried all the other solutions on youtube when I found your video with honest reviews and real help. I went with the iTunes version and after 22 minutes of updating my screen turned on but I couldn't do anything. I have iPhone 11 Pro Max just for reference if anybody with the same phone has the issue. My storage was full and I keep getting notifications about my storage. After the screen turned on I tried the first one and it started working.
I have a question, aren’t the newer versions of iOS even bigger then the older ones? Then why should we update it to the latest one, and not to an older smaller version of iOS? And thanks for the amazing video. 👍🏻
You cannot downgrade the version, so you can update to the current one or newer. Current one did not work for me, so I started trying newer ones, and one of newest worked for me. I think it is not only about the size itself, but about the flashing process. I believe that newer version of firmware can have some previous flashing bugs solved. Maybe that's why a lot of people had success with one of the new betas, despite it was larger size than the previous FWs.
You are the man! Really. If you didnt make this video with 3utools i would have never gotten my data back. For all people struggling this is what worked for me: My Iphone 8 showe signs of full storage. Then i wanted to turn it off in order to turn it on but it got stuck in apple logo loop. After that i trid t update it with itunes and got the error 14. I wanted to rescue my data so i tried it at least 20 times again. Then i found this great video I flashed the phone with 3 utools to Ios 14.4.2. It took me at least 20 trys. with everytime to loading bar got more. One time it was full but still got back to recovery mode. I tried again, changes usb slots and then all of a sudden it worked. People keep on trying! i did it at least 30 times. Now i have all my data and did a backup
Step 3 worked for me! I woke up with my phone stuck on the apple logo and tried to reset it and charge it but it didn’t do anything. Someone shared your link on Reddit. I followed the steps and everything came back to normal! Thanks again!
Thank you, @Kirill Tried all steps. 4th with DFU Mode worked. Although " Flash is failed with retaining user's data" error appeared and I was thinking what to do, the phone rebooted after a few minutes and the "Attempting data recovery" screen appeared. After a while the screen turned off and I was thinking it failed but when pressing the power button to see if screen works it turned on - seemed like it was a screen standby. THe progress bar moved a bit, asked for the phone password twice and then continued recovering the data. Finally it worked for me. Now backing up with itunes and doing all I can to save everything. Thank you very much for this detailed resource.
Guysss, step 3 via itunes worked for me. I was pressing on „update“ the whole time but every time the error message (14) came after a short loading time. Also it was displayed several times that an update would not be possible due to the full storage and that you should just press "restore I Phone" instead... You shouldn't let yourself be dissuaded from pressing update, for me it finally worked after the 15 attempt and my phone came on again and all my data was available.
Thank you Kirill! This gives me hope. I’ve had my iPhone 10 in my drawer since May, hoping that I would find a solution. Will be trying this within the next week!
Hi Kirill, I m back to this video after two years. I faced the problem of apple logo boot loop, but after flashing with 3u tools, my iphone 6s stuck on loading screen, it seems going to the end of loading bar(like 1% to almost complete) then it stopped forever at that point, the phone will get started again after charging, but the screen remained the same in loading stage. The technician told me there is no way other than restore it to factory setting, but i still hold a little hope, wish to ask your advice is there any other way to save my phone without erase the data inside?
Unless technician disassembled your phone and said something like "look, the memory NAND chip inside of your phone is fried", he cannot say for sure if the data can be saved or not. If there is no hardware defects, nobody can tell you with the full confidence if the phone can or cannot boot with the data recovered. Try to find another specialist, with a focus on data recovery. Have you tried flashing in the DFU mode already?
It's your own decision, but unless you can find another professional who can attempt to recover your data, or you know a better way how to do it yourself, as for me, it's worth the risk
Update 09.04: my iPhone had an Apple logo boot loop yesterday (~ 3 months since the last recovery). I think it was a combination of the over-the-air update to 14.4.2, that was sucking my free space even after it was installed and about ~4 gigs of space available initially. Hard reboot did not work, entered recovery, iTunes update did not work. Easy Flash in 3uTools to 14.4.2 worked like a charm from the first try. All the data is in place. So probably nowadays the most effective method is 3uTools Easy Flash to 14.4.2 (based on my recent experience and some recent comments of viewers).
Right now 14.4.2 is not singed anymore, I finally had success with the 14.6 Beta 2 (which is not available now anymore), so perhaps it is also possible with 14.6 or 14.7 Beta. Thank you for the information. I used macOS Big Sur for executing the update utilizing the Option key on the Update button to select the custom IPSW file. Thanks a lot for the information, it gave me hope and finally saved my data. I had my iPhone 8 inaccessible for 1 week before finally reaching success.
Used itunes recovery on 3u and it worked!!!! thank you so much, its almost been a year since my xr stopped working and hopefully i can finally get back to using it!! im over the moon right now tysm!!!
Thanks for your feedback, sorry to hear that nothing worked for you. I recommend reading comments section from time to time, guys recommend slightly different experiences, and additional small things to try.
I've been trying to get this work for several weeks with different firmware, and finally got it working again today using this beta firmware: 14.6(18F5055b)
This works. Thank you so much . THANK YOU!!!. I was able to get all my pictures back. I did step 3 about 3 times with no luck on iTunes. I then tried step 4 on my iPhone 7 plus. I tried easy flash with ios14.4.2 about 20 - 30 times. and every times 4 or 5 times i would get further on the progress bar before failing. It would fail at 34 percent then 36 then 40 then 60 etc but eventually it went through an updated. Just an FYI The last time I tried I got an error at 80 percent but then the phone rebooted. after it restarted it prompted me to enter my phone password twice and then the phone said "Attempting data recovery" . After it completed my phone booted up to the home screen and I began deleting apps from my phone because I had less than a 1gig of space available. THIS WORKS JUST KEEP TRYING. I got all my data back and I had no space on my phone. Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you. btw i did this on my windows 10 machine with an iphone 7 plus that was maxed out on storage (less than 1 gig of space).
Amazing thank you so much for this! Had error 14 due to low space and could not update via iTunes. Eventually got the iPhone XS updated successfully with no data loss! Similar approach to others here: used easy flash on 3u tools, tried flashing 14.4.2 about 20 times didn't work failing at 60%, then tried pro flash didn't work, then tried with the 14.5 betas again didn't work failing at around 38%, then kept cycling through the different versions using easy flash until eventually the update went through on one of the 14.5 betas. Would suggest if you're having issues to try flashing with different versions (prob took me 30-40 attempts) until it eventually goes through.
I’m also having issues with my iPhone XS 64GB. Same issue here, low storage then got stuck in boot loop. Initially I had error 14, now I’m getting error 75. When flashing, I get stuck at 20%. When doing pro flash I get “cannot send iBEC.” Seems like nothing is working and I’ve been trying for 3 weeks now.
Did you also cycle through your USB ports on you pc? I’m using an iMac with bootcamp windows 10 on it. Anyone had succes with bootcamp Windows on an iMac?
Hello, thank you for your great post. I did it on XS Max 11,6, no luck. I did all steps, including DFU... it logs said "received data timeout" and then it failed. I'll keep trying.
Worked for me! Earlier steps didn't work, step 5 did, at this point I can't see any data loss at all. I have an iPhone XS, no idea what iOS it was running, with full memory giving me error 14.
I am happy that the methods are working for some folks, but for me, i tried every single one, there was not a single error, but it still stuck at the restore screen when starts😢
Thanks a lot for this video. I was not able to recover my iPhone since November! I tried the 5th method and it’s finally worked! Many many thanks once again!
Thank you so much for this video, it was really helpful! I'm one of the unlucky few who's tried all five steps multiple times but still hasn't been able to get their phone out of bootloop, but I'm going to keep trying. My phone's been in a drawer since August 2020. For other people's reference, mine is an iPhone XR 128GB and hasn't managed to get past ~34% with Easy Flash, or the Writing Filesystem stage with Pro Flash. I've been trying 14.4.1 and the two 14.5 Beta versions that are currently available.
Thanks for your feedback, sorry to hear that it did not work for you. If you decided to "freeze" your phone, I can recommend once in a while coming back to flash in the DFU mode on the new beta and release versions of the firmwares. I know that flashing on new beta versions of the iOS helped for some people.
When it says "risk", is there an actual risk of the proper phone dying in the process? Or the risk is just the data being lost? edit: got my XR recovered after just updating via iTunes. Maybe I was lucky
@kirill thankyou very much for this video i have finally recovered my data and my phone is back on after trying for 17 days straight and was always stuck at 38%. for others still trying dont give up
problem solved: here is the fix so my present case is I had done the easy flash on my iPhone X using the latest iOS 14 version with 3UTools. It completed100% in 2nd attempt and then white screen with Apple logo attempting data recovery popped up and then it popped a second time with the downloading bar ( without attempting data recovery text) and. Phone switched on. With my previous wallpaper and passcode. The photos are empty but storage showing full with most space taken up by "other" category, previously all this space was taken up by photos. Where do I go from here? I made an unencrypted backup using iTunes and I can see the photofiles in some weird format which I can view in Paint and the chronology of the photos is all jumbled up. I think my phone was previously on ios11.4 or ios12 is that why there hasn't been a smooth transition n it's not pickin up the photos in the app because they are on a previous encryption? Should I try to reload an older firmware? here is what I did: I opened the backup in 3utools selecting file location (iTunes/mobilesync) under backup/restore-->view data backups--> select the backup--->pro mode--> camera roll--> (select all folders) export ( in a new folders) and lo and behold all 21000 files were photo files were there to be exported in chronological order and the location data where pic was taken is under file information I am so happy...all this is free...if this works for you please share this info with others
Thank you for this video!! So many other videos out there that want you to pay for software (that probably doesn't work) but the methods detailed in this video worked for me on an old iPhone 7. I tried just about every available firmware option (multiple times) and finally one worked. So if anyone else is giving up hope, keep trying the DFU mode and you might just get lucky! Thanks again for this video and for the existing comments, extremely helpful!
Solved (iPhone XS, step 2). Wanted to share my story in case it’s helpful for others. Had full storage issues for a long time, and hadn’t yet updated to the new iOS. A couple days back the phone just reset itself and got stuck in a boot loop which it wouldn’t get out of. Very sentimentally important photos hadn’t yet synced to iCloud so was important to retrieve. Spoke to Genius Bar and they were pessimistic - I only had an incredibly small amount of storage left, so iOS update seemed unlikely to work. Using these recommendations I tried attempts at iOS update in recovery mode probably about 4 times and it worked on the final try - though not obviously at first! Try 1 failed and I got an ‘error 6’. Try 2 failed to show any progress on my phone. Try 3 I got a note saying the update was installed but my phone stuck in boot loop. Tried again and the laptop told me I would need to recover, but still gave option of updating. Did that again and same issue as before - stuck in boot loop after saying it was successful. Decided to stop there and put my phone back in regular charger without expectations. To my surprise a couple minutes later the phone turned white with a ‘swipe up to recover’. After completing this, the update worked and my phone was back - all the important photos there!
This does work, but I had to take several different steps in 3u to finish data recovery, it booted to press home to recover after finishing then when it finished it went to the hello screen then asked for my passcode. iPhone 8 64gigs
Can you please explain your procedure to how it worked for you? I’ve tried about 50 times on easy flash and maybe 10 times pro flash. Nothing is working for me. It says unable to send iBEC. And in easy flash it gets stuck at 20%.
I am so much happy that i could recover my xr .i saw many videos but none worked you just killed it man.thankyou sooooo much for your patience for doing this video
Got the error 14 message last august. Apple and other places told me getting this data back was impossible. this video was so helpful thank you so much!!! took me two tries with the fourth method to retrieve the data from my iPhone X.
Don’t give up hope people!! After trying for almost 24hrs non stop to update this video finally saved me and my data! I tried every step however step 5 was the one I made the most progress with and eventually worked !! I put phone in recovery mode, tried different ios firmware, and kept flashing over and over and about the 10th time my phone froze on the apple logo and restarted. It asked for my password 2 times and rebooted again. This time a white screen with attempting data recovery popped up. After some loading it finally rebooted and I was on the new firmware 14.5. Thats the firmware that worked for me. I’m on the XSMax! So yea just when you are ready to give up give it one more try like I did! Thanks so much your video was a lifesaver!
iTunes update [step3] and Easyflash [step4] succesfully finish with no error message during the process whatsoever but when the phone automatically restarts it gets stuck again in the boot loop. its a never ending cycle. please Kirill is there anything i can do?? i cant risk losing so much data
I was one of the first to see your video. I tried it at least 300 times with different cables and different computers from the beginning, but the result is negative. I guess there's no chance of my 6s 64gb phone. Thanks anyway for your video that offers different methods.
Thanks for your feedback. I am sorry that it did not work for you. I can only suggest to keep looking for some other third party or Apple solution (however never pay for "magic" software, or to data repair businesses that charge not based on the successful result)
Hi @Kirill - thanks so much for helping everyone with this issue! My problem is that my phone has been stuck on boot loop for 2 days, and I can't get it to go into recovery mode. It's an XR, I'm connecting to my laptop with an original apple cable, pressing and releasing the volume up button, then the volume down button, and then holding the side button. But it just goes black and then back to the apple logo seconds later! Can you help? Thanks so much in advance.
Hi, I would recommend watching a few tutorials how to enter the recovery mode on your model. Also make sure that iTunes is running and updated. If for some reason recovery mode is still impossible to enter, try to enter the DFU mode (step 5). It is much trickier to enter than recovery but should work in almost all the cases.
I am able to successfully update in step 4 to 100%. But my phone screen is still stuck on the recovery mode screen. So should I move on to step 5 and dfu mode or try something else? Thanks!
Nevermind, I moved onto step 5 and successfully opened my phone! It failed twice but then worked on the third try. Thank you so much! I had tried everything including taking it to an Apple store and a computer recovery store, both who said I needed to restore. I am so grateful for this video! I thought my photos and videos were lost. Thank you so very much!!
when you flashed with easy flash did it show completed 100% but phone still went back to boot loop? I'm having that problem where it completed but iphone still goes back to bootloop. Plz answer 😭🙏
hello! thank you for this video. my iphone 6s went on logo boot loop because of full storage last year in may and I've been so upset, but reading the comments gives me so much hope now. I have a few questions before I try your solution, 1. do I need to charge my phone before? 2. can I directly try 3utools even though I didn't try to update with iTunes (heard you can lose your data this way) ? 3. do I need to put it in recovery mode or can I just connect the phone like this? i would be really thankful if you could reply, this solution came like a miracle, I always hoped I could get my data back and it seems possible now
1. Better charge it at least for an a hour, because some USB ports on computer could output small amount of current. 2. Yes you can go straight to easy flash. 3. Unless your phone is detected by iTunes or 3uTools straightaway (usually not), you need to put the phone into recovery or DFU mode.
just want to share my experience . i have iphone x 256GB stuck at bootloop after storage went full. tried easy flash latest update (which in my case 14.7.1 i guess ?) and after three attempts only i got all my data back after being in my drawer for almost a year .
Tried every firmware - 14.4 and beta 1, 2 and 3 of 14.5 - Nothing works for me unfortunately :( It always ends immediately with the error messages "This firmware does not match the current iDevice." and "Flash is failed with retaining user's data". Running 3uTools under Windows 10 Pro via Bootcamp on a MacBook Pro. Any other tips? Don't want to lose all my personal data. :(
Okay, progress: One beta actually started the process now, but it stopped at the same time as when trying to recover it via iTunes.. The progress bar on the iPhone stops at half and then the phone crashes and goes back to Recovery Mode..
@@gopalola Yes, correct! I made one mistake at first: I used wrong firmwares (iPhone 12 instead of iPhone 8, which I have). That caused the "This firmware does not match the current iDevice." But now I tried every flashable firmware for iPhone 8 10.4 (14.4, 14.5 beta 1, 2 and 3) and every time the progress stops at 3 mins into writing the file system. Method 5 changes nothing compared to using iTunes for me.
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no obvious further options. If you need to keep the data, only thing that I can recommend, is to keep trying flashing in DFU to different firmwares (including betas, and not yet released ones), using different PCs, USB cables and USB ports. I heard stories when people were able to update the iPhone after 10+ unsuccessful tries, only by changing the above-mentioned parameters.
Great video! However after having tried all the proposed methods I get stuck on 35% every time with both easy flash and pro flash. What % do others get stuck on? First the error at 35% is: “ERROR: Unable to write Filesystem” the second error again at 35% is “ERROR: Unable to restore iDevice(-2)”

Did you get this with Step 4 (Easy Flash) or Step 5 (Pro Flash)? I tried step 5 first and got that same error "Flash is failed with retaining user's data" -- tried it 5 times. Then I tried some other things but finally when I did Easy Flash it worked for some reason. Good luck.
Thank you!!I got my phone back after 12 hours with iTunes update. I am glad that I didn’t listen to my husband and a few friends who insisted me to contact Apple. Thanks and good luck to all! Just be patient and try multiple times.
Hi, thank you sooooo much for the video. Just here to thank you and confirm that the method still works! I got a boot loop on my 11PM due to low storage. 1&2 did not work. Waited for 2 days with multiple times of hard reboot and battery running out. Went for the 4th step with 3UTools easy flash to IOS 16.2 (from 15.2). I TURNED OFF THE FIREWALL BEFORE FLASHING. It worked so smoothly to 100% right at the first time! Waited a while (be patient since the first 15 mins the phone still stuck on the black screen, then to white with "attempt to recover", then straight to the setup). Also just a note: Don't rely on the Storage in the setting!!! You usually have about 40-60% less than what it tells you. Check the storage with 3rd party app (for example: AIDA64). For example, the Setting told me I had 200MB of free space left, but AIDA64 reported on a 16MB of free space! Then, the nightmare came. Anyways, thanks again for your instructions, and wish luck to whoever have to go through this sh*t!
Thank you for the video! I have an Iphone 8 plus, I can't start with option 5 (DFU mode) as my iphone can't exit from the recovery mode! Can you help me to exit to recovery mode, please?
On my iPhone XS I tried many many times to get into DFU mode. It took a very long time to get it right. Good luck! (For me however it was step 4 that worked, non DFU Mode, I tried step 5 (with DFU Mode) before step four because I got over eager)
My iphone 15 is currently stuck in a bootloop, and im not too sure why. my storage wasnt even close to full. its in a perma bootloop, ive used at least 7 different cables and none of them connect my phone to itunes or 3utools. i think im just going to take it into apple because this is ridiculous
Hello I've tried all the methods mentioned in this video but failed. Error Message "Unable to restore iDevice (-2)" is shown when I'm attempting in DFU mode. any idea how to fix it? Please help, I got a lot of memories inside the phone I do not want to lose it. Please..

Hi, my phone's storage was completely full and the warning came several times. I've attempted step 1,2 and 3 with no success. I've also taken the phone to the apple store and other iphone stores with no success. If I go further into step 4 and 5, what are the chances I keep my data. I can't lose my data, so was wondering if taking the risk of going for step 4 and 5 is worth it or not?
Usually steps 4 and 5 are more or less safe for your data if you do everything properly and do not interrupt it in the middle. However not a single method can give you a 100% confidence of keeping your data. You can loose your data even during normal use of your phone, and of course during the flashing procedures, this risks are higher.
@Skya M I did step 5, 5 times -- they all failed like you described. Then I trued using "iTunes Flash" with 3uTools (not in DFU Mode) -- that failed. Then I tried regular iTunes App method, error 14 again. Then I tried "Easy Flash" with 3uTools (not in DFU Mode, "Retain User Data" selected) and it worked!!! I have access to all my photos!!!! I knew it was a risk. But I hope this *might* help. I really hope it does.
why does my phone always come back to the recovery mode even if the bar is already full?:( I’ve tried itunes and easy flash several times tho *Updated OMGG MY PHONE’S BACKK UNDER 1DAYY! THANKU SO SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO i’m forever grateful for it🤍 Soo at first I restarted my phone bcs there’s some error on the app (bcs of full storage) and at that time it started to stuck on the apple logo, First I tried the hard restart and updating on iTunes for many times but it doesn’t work. Then I saw other tutorial on YT but many of them just give u a paid software (with their referral code duhh😣) BUT THENN I SEE A COMMENT ON A VIDEO THAT SAID HE/SHE HAS UNLOCKED THEIR PHONE BY FOLLOWING UR STEPS. So I tried the 4th step for many times, I’ve tried using the easy flash and iTunes flash (recovery mode) but it always get stuck on 30% or smth. But after that I disconnected my phone from my PC for like 3hours and then start flashing again, andd it has a progress but still stuck on 60% (but the bar is already full but it still coming back to the recovery mode). After several times doing flash finally MY PHONE IS BACKK AND ALL MY DATA IS STILL THERE (it said an error occurred while on 80% tho ). I succeeded using the easy flash with 14.4.2 on the recovery mode! Also actually I wanted to try the DFU mode but i’m too scared that it can cause the data lost haha ANYWAYY for u guys that are still experiencing an error for the flash, just keep trying over and over again using different methods, good luckk✊🏼 THANKU AGAIN FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO & sorry for my bad English btw
Hi, I have this problem with an Iphone 7+, what do I do if I don't know what verision of IOS the device has? Just go for the latest? And how is that I can update my firmware even since mt phones storage if full? Won't the update overwrite files to make room then?
I recommend trying the steps, as they appear in the video. Because first steps are easier and faster to do, and harder to mess up. It can work (or not work) for all the kinda recent iOS versions, so knowing the exact version of iOS is not that important. The update itself won't overwrite your user files, however it may cause the files to be corrupt and not recoverable if something goes wrong during the process.
Kirill, you are the man, a real lifesaver!!! Was trying to back up my Iphone X but Itunes told me that I would have to first update my phone. So I did/tried. Big mistake. Because I barely had more than 200MB available on a 256GB phone, the update did not work and the phone was thrown into the Apple logo boot loop you described. I spent hours looking for a solution, wasting money on some repair software and was about to throw in the towel in the middle of the night. By chance, I saw that you commented on another video that you found a solution. Checked out your steps and after about 7 attempts with EasyFlash it worked! Took me the rest of the night but at least I got my phone back with all the data. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! The one that worked for me in the end was the 14.6 (5046f) version. Hope this helps others. THANKS SO MUCH KIRILL FOR CARING AND TAKING TIME OUT OF YOUR DAY TO HELP OTHERS!
Did 3uTools show that it failed but the phone still had a progress bar? I don't know how risky it was but I think that happened to me too and I probably just restarted the phone and try again.
@@DrewLeSueur2 I tried iTunes flash instead of easy flash in recovery mode. Yes, it showed that it failed but still had a progress bar. How did you restart it?
@@isabellad4623 I actually tried "iTunes Flash" too. I really hope I don't give bad or risky advice but I probably held down the right side button until it restarted into recovery mode again.
I can successfully update the phone smoothly all steps but still not able finish normal mode system restart AS THE Last mile, i guess it is because my disk may be full, close to 225G before problem , can you delete or move some data in recovery mode? thanks
Unfortunately your data is unaccessible until you boot your phone in the "normal" mode. So your only option is to try to flash it in a way, so it boots up normally. You can wait for the newer firmware versions or the new methods, if you are willing to "freeze" your phone for a while.
method 5 worked for me, *DFU mode* used ios 14.4.1, easy flash, auto-activation unchecked (try checked/unchecked, along w/ skip setup checked/unchecked), I've been trying all available ios versions for 2-3 days straight easy flash, recovery mode, dfu mode, etc.
@@bagginn hello i have a few questions for confirmation, which computer did you use to do all that work? also i've been checking the comments that if you keep alternating between easy flash, etc it will eventually work is that true? ..and you will get all your data back?? Is 3utools safe as well? and last one if you can answer.. what does it do to your phone?
Man!! I'm so grateful. I've been able to recover all my files. I'm using an iphone 7 plus, my storage got full and the phone restarted and got stuck in boot loop. I tried everything and searched everywhere but got no help until I saw a comment on another video redirecting me here. I watched Kirill's video and downloaded the 3utools. I tried the easy flash with the option to retain data and downloaded the latest firmware which at the time of typing is the 14.4.2. I tried to flash about 4 times but it always got stuck on 36%. Then i changed to a different usb port and tried the easy flash again. It completed the flash successfully and the phone restarted and a message came "attempting data recovery". It finished and the phone restarted again. I unlocked my phone password and everything was as it was before. All my files intact. I immediately deleted unwanted stuff and did an itunes backup. I'm so relieved!
It is big conspiracy. Error 14 does not exist. Comments containing error codes and firmwares version are just secret codes to communicate between members of our society.
Clorox Bleach that is the feeling of having almost no hope of retrieving your files and searching everywhere on the internet and coming to dead ends until you find something that actually works for you. Kirill isn’t promoting any brand here besides the 3utools is not even a paid software so I’m just happy I chanced upon his video.
I didn't follow this completely because I used iMazing on a Mac, but after multiple attempts to restore with current version at the time of writing this (14.5.1). I was able to use the RC version of 14.6 to get the phone (with all of its data) to work. This video definitely gave hope! Coffee sent !
Congratulations, it's great that my video helped you! So probably as an option Mac users can use this utility as well. Thank you for your feedback and for coffee 🙂
@@iamevelynn I basically kept trying to use the current ios version at the time and it always failed. I ended up using a beta ipsw version and it worked fine.
please help I've tried easy and iTunes flash about 22 times and I'm stuck at 60% with error 1101 how many attempts did you try with step 4? and also when you put your phone in dfu mode would it be able to back to recovery mode? and also did step 5 work the first time? please respond
First time when I had this problem, step 4 did not work for me after ~5-10 different tries. When I tried step 5, it was from the first try. However, when I had the problem a few months later again, step 4 worked for me from the first try. So there is no guaranteed amount of tries for success in any method, and it is highly individual. After entering the DFU, you usually can exit it with hard reboot combination, so yes.
@@gopalola I've now tried 27 times switching from easy flash and iTunes flash and I tried different softwares and still failed :( do you suggest that I try the pro flash? and what do I do if the pro flash fails?
I can only say, that the pro flash in DFU mode worked for me, when nothing else did. If it's not going to work, you can try pro and easy flash in 3uTools with new yet unreleased firmwares or wait for some other solution. But it's really very individual, no one can tell if it's going to work or not, until you try it.
my phone actually went back to normal while i was watching this, i think the slight water damage evaporated, but based on the other comments im definitely saving it for the future just incase!
Hi Kirill, I just wanted to thank you for your informative, straight to the business video. I had a similar scenario happen to my iPhone XS Max where I have full storage and it was on a forever boot loop. I thought I would have to resort to steps 4 & 5 since hard rebooting (more boot loop) and trying to update through ITunes (error # 14) didn’t work. However, going on and off into recovery mode through 3uTools and then trying to update the firmware again through iTunes seemed to the do trick! (Steps 2-3). I’m so happy I could cry. I’m never going to not backup ever again! BTW, wrote out my experience in the replies, if anyone is interested.
Hi Theresa, did you have to enter your icloud id & password or you only had to put your passcode like before? iTunes got me out of the loop, but for some reason it asks me for language & country & icloud information. I'm afraid that iTunes made a reset which means it wiped my data.
@@NaydraONE Hi there! I didn’t have to do any logging in to the cloud. I had also never downloaded iTunes on my computer until this. So it was a brand new device to the computer. There was a certain point in the update with my passcode. Also had some issues with it not connecting to my computer mid update and asking for me to trust the computer when the screen was stuck on updating screen. Did you make sure you pressed “update” and not “recover”? Fingers crossed for you!
No one asked for this, but I found reading other comments very helpful, especially as a not techy person. I hope others can find my experience helpful as well. I had called two local cellphone repair shops about boot loop and data recovery. Both said they could do it before but right now it couldn’t be done. I was feeling pretty helpless. My iPhone wasn’t connecting to my computer at all. I had iTunes open and nothing. Once I forced it into recovery mode (different from DFU mode), it connected and gave me the option to either update or restore. (FYI in DFU the screen is all black. I didn’t know the difference before.) Anyways, make sure you do UPDATE not restore otherwise you lose everything. I tried this twice and got error 14. It would keep messing up at the same spot. I was iffy downloading some third party but was feeling desperate. At first I tried Fixppo because I saw the name mentioned more on the internet. SKIP IT. I think it might be a scam or just very tricky. It says free, it isn’t. It felt very sketchy so I just noped out of there real quick and went back to follow Kirill’s steps as his video seemed the most honest out of the many I found. So I downloaded 3uTools Utility. Phone was in recovery mode and on the program I pressed “exit recovery mode”. It didn’t seem like it did anything so actually, I did the same thing again. It still didn’t look like it did anything. I moved on to his next steps, iTunes. Here we go again. However, lo and behold this time it went past the point where it would get stuck and give an error 14. I didn’t want to get my hopes up and was planning to go through this update process again since it went further this time. It wasn’t necessary though, it worked! My phone came back to me 🥲 Some suggestions, like he says try the iTunes update multiple times. Even after doing another step, go back iTunes and try again. Something may have triggered a change. IDK. Also, ignore their popup pleas for a restore. UPDATE ONLY. Read all the comments. Not all of our scenarios are the same and someone may have had a something similar happen to them. Lastly, like others have said step 4 & 5, try the different firmware versions on 3uTools. Seems like many had success with those steps. Good luck guys!
Thanks a lot for your help, Theresa. From what I remember, in my case/flow, I tried with Finder via my Mac and I always got error 14 at around 60%. After that, I moved to a windows laptop, downloaded 3uTools and it automatically downloaded iTunes which detected my sister’s phone as being bricked. After that I tried to update and I could see iTunes downloading the last iOS and then it started to put it on the phone. At this phase, it reached 90% before I got error 9. After this, I tried to disconnect/connect the cable and then iTunes automatically started the process again without any input from me. It went alright, but I at the end I saw that iCloud credentials are needed which makes me think that it deleted all of my sister’s data. Not to mention that I have to recover her password as well as she does not remember it :(
Hi Theresa, thanks a lot for your positive feedback! I am glad that this video helped you. After seeing such comments, where people successfuly recovered their data, I realize that the time I needed to make this guide was well spent 🙂
Okay so on my very first attempt I tried easy flash then it got stuck on 38% and the error was "unable to restore idevice -2" on my second attempt using easy flash again I got to 60% and then somehow my phone died during the process showing the battery logo and the error I got was -1101. Do you think my phone dying during the process maybe affected my data :( please respond
Maybe your phone was low battery and it is not enough power on the USB port of your computer to charge it. Try to charge it with usual charger for a few hours (or the time you usually spend to get 80% of battery) and try again.
Hello Kiril, I have my I-phone X stuck on an Apple logo loop since last night, I tried to update it with I-tunes and it comes u with an error (4013), I tried to do step 4 of your video but I get stuck on 19% with Easy Flash and 21% with Itunes Flash - once it gets to restore it doesn't get passed this. I wanted to also try step 5 but for some reason can't get my phone in DFU mode (tried it as explained several times and it doesn't work). Can you please help? I am happy to contribute for more than a coffee if you can please help me restore my phone and data. Thanks a lot, Bella
I would still recommend to do flash in DFU mode. Getting in the DFU is really tricky and may take some time, but usually always possible. So I would recommend to find several videos or manuals for your model, and try for at least 15 minutes each, until you will see black screen and 3uTools will detect DFU mode.
I do only use easy flash in 3utool to 14.4.2 six times then it worked. Maybe you need to try more. First time it went 24% (-2 issue but no error 14) , second times 22%, 21%,19% 60% then 80% it work.
I am currently doing the iTunes update, and my phone has gone back to the Apple logo but the computer iTunes is still saying “preparing iPhone for software update”. Is this normal? Thanks.
Don't know why, but my comment disappeared. So bascially after 12 hours of fighting - **i did it!** With 3uTools DFU mode 14.4.2 version. Firstly had 38-39% stuck. Then, after several attempts, it made a big progress. It kept failing with about 60% progression and full iPhone bar. The most interesting thing is, that the last (successful) attempt was recognized by 3uTools as... failed? I saw that iPhone doens't come back to recovery mode immadiately though, and pressed the power button. It started to restore! I was shocked. No data lost. Just keep fighting! I think that with every flash you're getting closer. Perhaps iPhone keeps repeairing some files or sth and it makes a little bit more storage. Keep trying to change versions, after trying with BETAs it ironically made progress with 14.4.2 from 38-39% to 60%. Thanks again Kirill!
There is no option to know the exact reason why it happens in your case. The best thing you can do is to try the solution steps in order they appear in the video.
@@gopalola I’m not sure why it even started happing, I left my phone charging on my desk like I usually do, and it wasn’t turned off it was just on sleep that’s how I always have it, and when I came back to my room about 10 or 15 mins later, it was on the apple turning on screen. It’s been stuck since Friday, it’s now Monday. Not sure what to do, and like you had on the video here, the orioles with the failing to update error 14, I’m worried it’s because my phone storage was almost full :(
Sounds very similar to my case. I also had nearly full space, because I was getting the warning messages and the apps started to crash and forever apple logo boot loop. If normal update in iTunes doesn't work, it's not the end. Just try the 3uTools utility update and update in the DFU mode (methods 4 and 5 in this video).
Hi Kirill please help me... After many attempts I was able to successfully flash my iPhone X. Unfortunately the data recovery process does not start. After the Flash my phones screen turns black and you can see the white apple logo... the phone then automatically turns off after 5 or 10 min and automatically turns on and then the cycle continues endless.... I did everything from Pro Flash etc. PLEASE KIRILL HELP ME
I solved it thanks to you. I would've only lost 2 weeks of data, but I didn't want to. So I took my time and did my research. I found Oksana's Instagram account (@iphonelogoloop). She guided me to you with her post, and you recommended either iTunes or 3uTools. iTunes never seemed to respond even though I pressed the button. So I decided I would go with 3uTools. iTunes flash was the solution for me. One important piece of advice I can give is to keep your iTunes window on-screen and close any iTunes alert tab every time it pops up. I couldn't stop my iPhone from getting out of Recovery Mode when I chose "Close iTunes." I thought it would prevent an interference. No, it does not. That's a useless feature that interferes with the flash process. It's also worth mentioning that I updated my drivers in the toolbox, and enabled auto-activation. There were no errors, and I have no lost files. Also, bootleg cables work just fine. So you don't have to go out of your way to get one or get an extra useless cable when you have a USB-C fast charger. Just don't touch near the USB port.

For me it was different from your case: stuck on Apple logo -> stuck on recovery mode -> failed updates -> DFU mode -> successful update -> normal boot. The only thing I can recommend is to check if you entered the DFU mode correctly (completely black screen) and try to flash it to the beta version in the DFU mode (pro flash).

Kirill, thank you for this great video, Sorry, my comment disappeared, but my phone has been on endless boot loop somehow overnight a couple nights ago, but I did have a low storage warning that day. I tried update in iTunes, got error 14, but the tried again and the update was successful. However, still had boot loop. Then I tried with 3UTools the Easy Flash and iTunes flash--all three versions I could: 14.4.2 and both Betas of 14--all were successful, but I still had the boot loop... So I don't know what is wrong--I looked through the comments and no-one has had successful Easy Flashes and iTunes updates but still a boot loop...what can I do--starting to truly despair :-(
@@gopalola oops sorry thank you for responding!!! Yes, since my reply, I meant to update with that I have also tried Proflash with DFU settings--have done that a few times now also. Then I try Easy Flash again and also have tried iTunes flash and also just plain update though iTunes--it always works as if it is successful--no warnings or errors even, but I do have to put my phone into recovery mode and update, but every time--tough supposedly successful in 3uTools--all methods and also iTunes, I still get the endless bootloop.. I have done all of these so many times now--like all day yesterday and today.....I am trying to have a little hope after reading all of the comments and seeing success stories there, but nothing is working for me, and it is so unnerving how, unlike everyone else, it is "working" for me, as in it is always declared "successful" but then stuck in boot loop. I am so sad and concerned. I appreciate all your help given and any more help.
To be honest, it is first time that I hear about such a problem. Probably I would try hard reboot iPhone (with button combination) after the successful flash (probably in DFU mode). An additional option would be to enter recovery mode after flash, and then try to exit recovery mode in 3uTools.
I don't remember exactly, but first you should select and download or maybe import the firmware you want to update to, and then press flash (while having the option to retain user data).
@@gopalola Thank you so much, your video is perfectly structured and easy to understand. I tried all the steps1-5 several times. Unfortunately it didnt work, all memory forever gone. Take care!

If you follow all the steps and don't interrupt in the middle, and your data or memory was not damaged previously, pro flash with retaining user data option can be considered as "kinda safe".
For me and some people it was successful from the first attempt. For some people it was successful after multiple attempts. For some people it was still unsuccessful after multiple attempts. However, as for now, as far as I know, there is nothing further to try, as trying method 5 multiple times, if you want to keep the data.

If you press "update" and NOT "restore" in iTunes - your data should be fine. If you do the easy flash in 3uTools with "retaining user data" - on, your data should be fine as well.

(Somehow my comment got deleted) I don't know how risky my steps are, but this is my experience for what worked: Using Easy Flash finally worked for me -- but I first tried jumping straight to Pro Flash (in DFU Mode). I tried that 5 times and got "Flash Failed!" every time. Then I tried actual iTunes App Update (on Windows) and then "iTunes Flash" inside 3uTools -- got error 14 with both. (Before I did any of this I tried regular Update with Finder on Mac, and got error 14 like 5 times... That's what lead me to this video.) Then I did Easy Flash (not in DFU Mode) and it worked -- my phone finally booted up and I was able to get my pics back! I have no idea why it worked for me but I hear that this does not work for others. Thank you Kirill for the video. Best of luck to all those who still have this problem. I really hope Apple comes up with an official fix. Edit: I looked at timestamps of my screenshots to clarify the order I tried iTunes app Update and "iTunes Flash" inside 3uTools methods.

I believe hes has found the only working solution possible right now
Thanks for your feedback! Glad that it worked for you.
where you able to recover your most recent files doing this?
My iPhone 8 64gb is alive and data fully intact, thank you!!! Like previous users stated, don’t
give up, keep flashing it with user’s data retention. I ran flash so many times I stopped counting
after 20. The time frame was from 3:30pm-3:30am went to bed. Started again at 8:30am and succeeded by 10am!!!!
My steps:
Recovery mode flash - cycle through all the firmware 14.4.2 and the 2 betas
DFU mode flash - repeat the same process for the firmware
After every failed attempt, you will notice the percent completion is higher
20%, 24%, 38%, 40%, 60%
At the 60% failure, I kept on flashing in DFU mode while cycling through the 3 firmware and at the end 14.4.2 succeeded.
Good luck everyone and whatever you do, don’t restore
PS: all done with 3utool and turned off my windows firewall
PSS: my phone was in the drawer for almost a year until I stumbled upon this video
Thank you for the feedback. I’m over 40 attempts in now and it always get stuck at 35%. Did you turn off windows firewall before or after you downloaded the firmwares? If a new firmware is released, I will try step 3.
And if that doesn't work, I'll try step 4 and 5 as your recommendation.
The method of step 5 is highly anticipated.

Were you able to recover your data?
@@enon5233 not through any method ive found on YT no. I did have the Apple store reset my phone and i did figure out what the problem is. The problem is not that you dont have enough space. The problem is if youre using a Windows PC to reset or restore an iPhone. The Windows PC will most likely have some sort of security or firewall preventing iTunes from sending the full firmware. If you try to restore or reset use a Mac if not already.

@@gopalola thanks
It worked for me
Congratulations!
You are the man! Really. If you didnt make this video with 3utools i would have never gotten my data back. For all people struggling this is what worked for me:
My Iphone 8 showe signs of full storage. Then i wanted to turn it off in order to turn it on but it got stuck in apple logo loop. After that i trid t update it with itunes and got the error 14. I wanted to rescue my data so i tried it at least 20 times again.
Then i found this great video
I flashed the phone with 3 utools to Ios 14.4.2. It took me at least 20 trys. with everytime to loading bar got more. One time it was full but still got back to recovery mode. I tried again, changes usb slots and then all of a sudden it worked. People keep on trying! i did it at least 30 times. Now i have all my data and did a backup
Thanks for your feedback, appreciate it!
Bravo i will try r
Tomorrow last try 2months ago hum 4months already, in recovery mode
Step 3 worked for me! I woke up with my phone stuck on the apple logo and tried to reset it and charge it but it didn’t do anything. Someone shared your link on Reddit. I followed the steps and everything came back to normal! Thanks again!
Congrats and glad that it worked for you!
Thank you for your feedback! Glad that it worked out for you, and you recovered your data.
Congrats and thx for feedback
Thank you Kirill! This gives me hope. I’ve had my iPhone 10 in my drawer since May, hoping that I would find a solution. Will be trying this within the next week!
You are welcome, hopefully it will work for you!
did it work
Hi Kirill, I m back to this video after two years.
@@gopalola shpuld i try flashing in DFU mode? I haven't, because I worry of data loss.
It's your own decision, but unless you can find another professional who can attempt to recover your data, or you know a better way how to do it yourself, as for me, it's worth the risk
It worked after trying 50+ times in step 4. Thanks for this amazing video!!!
How full was ur storage
Congratulations and thanks for the feedback!
How full was your phone? Did you have any free space and it still worked?
Right now 14.4.2 is not singed anymore, I finally had success with the 14.6 Beta 2 (which is not available now anymore), so perhaps it is also possible with 14.6 or 14.7 Beta. Thank you for the information. I used macOS Big Sur for executing the update utilizing the Option key on the Update button to select the custom IPSW file. Thanks a lot for the information, it gave me hope and finally saved my data. I had my iPhone 8 inaccessible for 1 week before finally reaching success.
Congratulations and thanks for feedback!

I was trying several times the different options with different firmware, unfortunatly no alternative worked for me. However, thanks for the video.
Congrats and thanks for feedback!
Thanks for your feedback! I am glad that it worked for you.
what error did you get when it fails? hoping for your reply
When doing pro flash I get “cannot send iBEC.”
Seems like nothing is working and I’ve been trying for 3 weeks now.
Thanks for your detailed feedback! Great that it worked for you after so many attempts.
I'll keep trying.
did it work yet?
Worked for me! Earlier steps didn't work, step 5 did, at this point I can't see any data loss at all. I have an iPhone XS, no idea what iOS it was running, with full memory giving me error 14.
Glad that it worked for you.
was your iPhone backed up?
I am happy that the methods are working for some folks, but for me, i tried every single one, there was not a single error, but it still stuck at the restore screen when starts😢
Thanks a lot for this video. I was not able to recover my iPhone since November! I tried the 5th method and it’s finally worked! Many many thanks once again!

Excellent im so jelous, im already 4months in recovery mode, i dont want lost my data, but memory is low, 256gb but alot of picture and video
Do you have an update
I'm in the same situation as you

When it says "risk", is there an actual risk of the proper phone dying in the process? Or the risk is just the data being lost?
edit: got my XR recovered after just updating via iTunes. Maybe I was lucky
Glad that it worked for you! It is a very low chance that the phone will die solely because of this process.
@kirill thankyou very much for this video i have finally recovered my data and my phone is back on after trying for 17 days straight and was always stuck at 38%. for others still trying dont give up

problem solved: here is the fix
so my present case is I had done the easy flash on my iPhone X using the latest iOS 14 version with 3UTools.
Should I try to reload an older firmware?
here is what I did: I opened the backup in 3utools selecting file location (iTunes/mobilesync) under backup/restore-->view data backups--> select the backup--->pro mode--> camera roll--> (select all folders) export ( in a new folders) and lo and behold all 21000 files were photo files were there to be exported in chronological order and the location data where pic was taken is under file information
I am so happy...all this is free...if this works for you please share this info with others
Which update version do you upgrade to
Glad that it worked out for you and thanks for feedback
Cool that it worked for you
Hello, thank you for posting this video! I have the iTunes Error 14 as well, before I try these steps, will it work on a iPhone 12 Pro? Thanks again!
Yes, there is a really high chance that it will work for for your iPhone 12 pro.

Check out iPad rehab’s new video on error 14. It may be informative to you.
@@gopalola thanks so much for your reply - it did work in the end!

1. Better charge it at least for an a hour, because some USB ports on computer could output small amount of current. 2. Yes you can go straight to easy flash. 3. Unless your phone is detected by iTunes or 3uTools straightaway (usually not), you need to put the phone into recovery or DFU mode.

Tried every firmware - 14.4 and beta 1, 2 and 3 of 14.5 - Nothing works for me unfortunately :( It always ends immediately with the error messages "This firmware does not match the current iDevice." and "Flash is failed with retaining user's data". Okay, progress: One beta actually started the process now, but it stopped at the same time as when trying to recover it via iTunes.. The progress bar on the iPhone stops at half and then the phone crashes and goes back to Recovery Mode..
Just to clarify: are you trying to flash the iphone according to the method 5 while it is in DFU mode (totally black screen, not a recovery mode)?

Congratulations, glad that it worked for you!
Do I need to backup on 3utools before doing the flash ? Pls help
If you can - yes. But usually the case is that you cannot make a back up if you are stuck on boot loop or error 14.

(For me however it was step 4 that worked, non DFU Mode, I tried step 5 (with DFU Mode) before step four because I got over eager)

Were you able to recover your data?
@Skya M have you found another solution? I'm having the exact same problem :(
@Skya M so sad :( I also tried everything and called with multiple experts, only solution left is to reset to fabric mode :( I'm so bummed
@Skya M I did step 5, 5 times -- they all failed like you described. Then I trued using "iTunes Flash" with 3uTools (not in DFU Mode) -- that failed. I knew it was a risk. But I hope this *might* help. I really hope it does.

Soo at first I restarted my phone bcs there’s some error on the app (bcs of full storage) and at that time it started to stuck on the apple logo,
First I tried the hard restart and updating on iTunes for many times but it doesn’t work. Also actually I wanted to try the DFU mode but i’m too scared that it can cause the data lost haha
ANYWAYY for u guys that are still experiencing an error for the flash, just keep trying over and over again using different methods, good luckk✊🏼

Wow! I hope it works for me
Thank you for your feedback and congratulations! Glad that it worked for you.
Tried doing an itunes flash in step 4 and now phone is stuck on the apple logo with bar halfway full, any suggestions?
Am I right that step 4 should be "Easy Flash", not "iTunes Flash"?
Did 3uTools show that it failed but the phone still had a progress bar? I don't know how risky it was but I think that happened to me too and I probably just restarted the phone and try again.
@@DrewLeSueur2 I tried iTunes flash instead of easy flash in recovery mode. Yes, it showed that it failed but still had a progress bar. How did you restart it?
@@isabellad4623 I actually tried "iTunes Flash" too. I really hope I don't give bad or risky advice but I probably held down the right side button until it restarted into recovery mode again.
But that was only after I got error 14 again with "iTunes Flash" inside 3uTools!
You can wait for the newer firmware versions or the new methods, if you are willing to "freeze" your phone for a while.
method 5 worked for me, *DFU mode* used ios 14.4.1, easy flash, auto-activation unchecked (try checked/unchecked, along w/ skip setup checked/unchecked), I've been trying all available ios versions for 2-3 days straight easy flash, recovery mode, dfu mode, etc.
ask me any questions, I flashed it as it was a new phone and I had no data to lose
Thanks for sharing your experience.
@@bagginn hello i have a few questions for confirmation, which computer did you use to do all that work? also i've been checking the comments that if you keep alternating between easy flash, etc it will eventually work is that true? ..and you will get all your data back?? Is 3utools safe as well? and last one if you can answer.. what does it do to your phone?
do you know what i could if i get error -1101 when using easy flash?
Why do all of the comments look the same? The same grammar and punctuation and paragraph, what’s going on here? Lol.
It is big conspiracy. Error 14 does not exist. Comments containing error codes and firmwares version are just secret codes to communicate between members of our society.
Thanks and glad that everything worked for you!
Kirill 😂😂😂😂 yeah it’s our secret language alright
I didn't follow this completely because I used iMazing on a Mac, but after multiple attempts to restore with current version at the time of writing this (14.5.1). I was able to use the RC version of 14.6 to get the phone (with all of its data) to work. This video definitely gave hope! Coffee sent !

Congrats and thanks for feedback!
please help I've tried easy and iTunes flash about 22 times and I'm stuck at 60% with error 1101 how many attempts did you try with step 4? and also when you put your phone in dfu mode would it be able to back to recovery mode? and also did step 5 work the first time? please respond
@@gopalola Okay thank you for replying
@@gopalola I've now tried 27 times switching from easy flash and iTunes flash and I tried different softwares and still failed :( do you suggest that I try the pro flash? and what do I do if the pro flash fails?
I can only say, that the pro flash in DFU mode worked for me, when nothing else did. If it's not going to work, you can try pro and easy flash in 3uTools with new yet unreleased firmwares or wait for some other solution. But it's really very individual, no one can tell if it's going to work or not, until you try it.
Kirill if you remember, what errors did you get when trying step 4
I have another question, if during flashing you need to turn auto-activacion?
i still trying to heal my phone.
You can try both options. I did it with auto-activation turned off.
my phone actually went back to normal while i was watching this, i think the slight water damage evaporated, but based on the other comments im definitely saving it for the future just incase!
Step number 4, mine errors out at 1% detecting connection stating this: error: please connect the idevice. Any advise?
Try different (original) cable and USB port, reinstalling or updating iTunes. If it fails, for majority of people it is usually much further than 1%.
My phone came back to me 🥲
Some suggestions, like he says try the iTunes update multiple times.

Maybe your phone was low battery and it is not enough power on the USB port of your computer to charge it. Try to charge it with usual charger for a few hours (or the time you usually spend to get 80% of battery) and try again.

I am happy to contribute for more than a coffee if you can please help me restore my phone and data.

Thanks.
Sounds like quite normal for me
hi if you do the 5th method and you realize its not working can you stop it in the middle of it?
Absolutely no. Wait until it succeeds or fails
First attempt easy flash 14.4.2 retain user data, thank you so much
You are welcome, thanks for the feedback!

Have you tried flashing in DFU mode (when screen is completely black)?
Any change? Same thing is happening with me.
Congratulations and thanks for feedback!

If you follow all the steps and don't interrupt in the middle, and your data or memory was not damaged previously, pro flash with retaining user data option can be considered as "kinda safe".
