This shit literally only happened to iPhone users recently with 2020 being the earliest. It's obviously apple's technique to make people upgrade to the newer phones. This can't be just a hardware issue if all of a sudden, a lot of people are experiencing it at the same time. Apple needs to be called out for this shit. This does not correlate with their brand image and reputation.
I came to see this video because it happened to my phone rn. It automatically had an upgrade last night then when the upgrade was done boommm my phone was set to this mode.

Gem of a video! I had given up any hope of recovering my precious data from my iPhone 11. The Apple store guys and a local 3rd party repairing shop with glowing reviews had literally told me that the phone had become a brick and there's nothing more that anyone could do. They're NOT free. They are free to download, but once the programs have analysed the iDevice, downloaded firmware, failed to exit recovery mode, and prompted you to fix the device, they all hit a paywall and demand that you take out some form of subscription to proceed.
This will only get you out of recovery mode if you have routinely entered recovery mode, it seems, with no other issues. If there are other issues, this program will NOT be free.
But anyone gonna talk about how we're all dealing with this during corona 🙎🏽

Thank you so much. This worked. My device was stuck in recovery mode after a routine software update. Apple authorised service center said they are unable to fix and recommended going for a new device. They said this was a hardware issue. The "idiot" bar folks literally didn't do anything apart from what i could do at home ... which was connect to a mac and attempt recovery and update. If it had worked, they would have charged me INR 1800 for this "service" because my device was out of warranty.
I googled for alternative software to try and attempt recovery, but all of them were super expensive. I then searched on youtube and came across this post. Daniel, thank you so much. You are a life saver.

WOW! Fantastic sir thank you so much! I was originally stuck in a boot loop out of nowhere when this whole issue started. When I tried to fix with iTunes I got the 4013 error (iPhone 7). After a few tries I was stuck in recovery mode. This worked like a charm.

Omg this is one of the best supports for iPhone users!! Just saved my iPhone (1st gen) from a recovery mode. Took me one whole day. All I did was just recharge it first (1-2hours) then plug out the charger from iPhone, and wait for 1-2 hours. After that, I turned on my iPhone and it showed the normal screen like instead of going to the recovery mode. This was so frustrating as I didn’t back up my data and I was going to do that two days ago. I thought I was going to lose all my data. DON’T FORGET TO BACK UP YOUR PHONE!!!!

Mony Hatchet I updated my iPhone 8 Plus to iOS 13.5 and it never came back on. It just kept booting up to restore mode so I tried restoring through iTunes on my computer but failed. I had a Genius Bar meeting time set up but I canceled it cause there was no point

Amazing video!! I had my iphone stuck in recovery mode by following an idiot on tenorshare channel where he made me download a stupid software and I got stuck. I got in this state when downloading the latest iTunes via the Microsoft Store, open the application and connect my iPhone.
Notification to upgrade to iOS 13.7. Clicked OK and all went South from there.
