  • Moose hunting is a special season in Alaska for many of its residents. It gives him the opportunity to explore Alaska, get intimate with nature and have a good time with friends and family. Our moose season had some disappointments, but all in all it was time we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

thank you, Luke is pretty busy keeping up with his youtube. i’m glad you like our collaborations, maybe later this winter we might plan a camping trip/ptarmigan hunt video together….we have a few things we are looking at, but it’s tough to make stuff like that come together.

A special season indeed. I had no idea how much work moose hunting, and processing, would be. Nothing like what most see on TV. Moose hunting is best done with a team effort. My last bull moose took me two days to move it out of the bush and another 7 days to process it into the freezer. Roughly 600 pounds of burger meat plus piles of steak, etc.

Very interesting, I learned alot. Beautiful landscape. Hunting sounds difficult with the restrictions, you really need to be an expert at identifying different features. Best of luck

All those regulations in a place where people just need to survive. Its crazy. I see the need for some regulations so people dont take way too much. But those trophy regulations about the spread of antler, thats bull crap.
