New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1ABF...
This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 2019-2023 Ram 1500. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2019 Ram 1500
    2020 Ram 1500
    2021 Ram 1500
    2022 Ram 1500
    2023 Ram 1500

What if you're doing both wheels, do you have to do the computer stuff for each one or just once after changing both brakes?

Great, thoughtful video. One question: did you clean and relube the caliper slider pins as they are the cause of uneven, premature break pad failure and rotor warpage?

Thank you for the torque specs, for the lubricant information, and for the great instructional video. I had one question, when your compressing the caliper for re-install do I need to have the fluid reservoir cap, under the hood opened up or not? Thanks in advance @TRQ

I have the 2019 base model and it has a small screen. Can't find those options on the head unit or through the steering wheel. Do I need a computer to unlock them?

The parts required list is awesome, thank you for adding that. Many channels show you the process but they never show you what specific tools you need. Great video and instructions. I feel confident replacing my brakes tomorrow after watching this video.

Doing the brake thing on the screen is for trucks with electronic parking brakes only?

Do the springs come with the rear brake pad? All of the brake pads I have looked at do not show them even at 1A. Thank you.

Very nice job but u missed 2 things ... for 1 the slide pins u never lubed them nor did the vid show if u checked to see if they slide nice and 2 u should always lift the rubber boot on the piston and spray some lubricant under the boot to keep the piston lubricated so they won't lock up in the future and can't be pressed back in... aahhh haa ill bet alot of people didn't know about this ..i been doing it for over 40 years and have never EVER had to replace a caliper on anyones car.. thanks for your time and knowledge sir

My truck doesn’t have a key to turn to run. Can’t we just remove the old rotors and brake pads out and install the new ones back? Do we really have to go to screen and press the settings go brake and do everything like you just did? You make me doubt to change my brakes.

What if your radio has shit the bed for the 3rd time and your radio doesn’t work and you don’t want to spend another 750$ bc ram sucks. How do you get them to retract then.

You do NOT need to add that bs screw back on. That's just for while it's on the assembly line. Caliper bracket and wheel will keep the rotor on just fine. And too many times that stupid screw strips right out anyways.

The torque is 120-130 ft lbs on the caliper bracket bolts , not sure where you got 74 from.

Ok video. Very vague video..... didn't grease the slides ( extremely important on rams !!! ) didn't even talk about the little bolts which are prone to breaking off if over tourqued, when reinstalling ( snug ). Also in that video those where only FRONT brakes. Yikes

Overall I'd have to give this video a thumbs down, as you didn't show the important stuff ( rear wheel )??? Parking brake??? Oh my !!!
