it is refused traditional nunchucks effusion traditional nunchucks that stuff really does hurt really badly luckily that's what I learned on so I'm about to get me some show nunchucks and I'm going to start doing videos too and oh my God I am so excited
My nuts are still mad at me since 1978 when I tried to do the through the legs move with “Nunchucks” as we called them. I break out into a cold sweat when I look at them!😂🤣😅
I remember when I was a kid they had plastic toy nunchucks with foam padding… let’s just say it hurt even practicing with those… I’d hate to practice with a real set…
One time in college I did a presentation and as an ice breaker I pretended to sweep the room with a broom, instead my making room for sweeping was really for unscrewing the broom from its holster and using the broom pole as a bow and spun it around about half as fast as this... class loved it. Got a A.... solid formula, hit it up if you've got some skills.
Their terrible in fight, the history is simply, China were repressed by American and Japan, told they can't carry ornise weapons, so to defend themselves they disguised weapons as tools, nunchaku, 3 section ect were all actually rice beaters. My point I'd as weapons they are limited due to their origins, but as exercise, for hand eye and dexterity they are great, bot in a fight tho, their are nunchaku tournaments it does exist do a search but translate and area it to China you should find some stuff.....
But then people would find out they don't actually work lmao. Yes they can be used , but you WILL beat yourself up in the process and your much better off with just a stick. (They are also typically using in a sneak attack on unarmed/unsuspecting opponents) sneak it out mid fight and hit them with it ect(majority of the "techniques" are strictly a distraction and not functional strikes) if you don't know the difference you will be in for a bad time lol
@@Redbird10 You’re clearly not a martial artist. Someone properly trained wouldn’t hit themselves even once. That would be incredibly embarrassing. 井底之蛙❤
Amazing comment, I used to teach this stuff and always said it's more like juggling then fighting, good for hand eye, dexterity, muscle memory ect but naff in an actual fight.....
Impressive!!! I just keep thinking of that part from Big Trouble in Little China (I think) maybe Indiana Jones🤔 where dude comes out like this, and fancy, maybe it was a sword or something but the main character pulls out his pistol and smokes him.
This dude is sooo f'n good with Chucks it's crazy. So fast & smooth especially with metal Chucks with a chain. I preferred wood with a rope (nylon) because for me they're faster & quieter. He makes it look so easy.
If I could do this I'd just be walking thru the town center doing it, getting on and off busses still doing it. It'd be a whole family guy scene of me doing nung chucks everywhere. 🤣🤣
I find his technique very interesting. Although he is using the nunchaku, he's not using traditional nunchaku techniques. Instead, he's basically handling the nunchaku like a staff.
Yea we do training like this for dexterity, hand eye and muscle memory, I used to teach a lot of it maybe ill make some videos if theirs enough interest.......

Ohhh my... that's hilarious 😅😂🤣🤣🤣🤣thanks for the laugh 👍👍
I can't say ouch fast enough!!!

I’m stealing this, thanks!
The guy holding the stick with his bear hands is a underrated hero.
his song/commentary was beautiful...
I think it was a piece of sugar cane he was holding.
it's fine. he's also a camera man, and that's his dominant hand. It will be fine.
Dude was brave to the extreme
Double nunchaku looked sooooo impressive when I was a kid and it’s the same today 🔥
Like the movie Sidekick?
@@mr.grillo3385exactly 👌 watched that movie dozens of times as a kid.
can't imagine the number of injuries he must have got before mastering it fully.
If he accidentally stabbed himself with the pointed nun chunk he could’ve died like in the neck or heart it’s scary
@@MiniNinja258or lose one eye

Also when he uses a double mace nunchaku, those could easily crack his skull if he fails
Several knock outs too.
I'm convinced he played Michaelangelo in one of the early ninja turtles movie
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Fun fact: Most of the actors in costume were female.

The one where he threw the knives into the wood was bad ass.
Tout un phénomène.
Bruce Lee rolling in his grave rn because he never seen someone handle nunchaku like this

Spear head is for thrusting, nunchaku are inherently blunt weapons. Also any hope of edge alignment goes out the window on a spinning handle
