    Only way to get over someone and stop thinking about them... Is to start talking to new people of the opposite sex.

      You can talk to them without leading them on. Talking to people doesn't mean you are going to get into a relationship with them.
      It may even help to be open about the fact you are not looking for a relationship because you just had a break up and need time to heal. And you're only looking for friendship. You would be surprised how many people would understand and be supportive.
      I don't get how this is using some if you are completely honest.

    Keyword here is "HOPE"....The first thing you have to do to get over your ex is to accept the fact that there's no hope. That's the biggest mistake that you can make, telling yourself there's still hope, emotionally your brain cannot start the healing process until you've accepted the fact that there's no hope that you'll ever get bact with this person.

    • @airindiana
      @airindiana 6 лет назад +1

      Tell you what it’s agony when your ex deliberately gives you hope and won’t let you go, keeping you on a shelf. I say deliberately cos that’s what’s happened. 11 years over. Months of limbo. And I say deliberately because she says she “needs to think” and that it’s “not definite” and “doesn’t want to cut contact”. So you can see where the hope comes from and it’s not my dreaming it up. For example someone ending it full bore and I’m clinging to evidence. Despite this. Never mind what she says, the actions and behaviours are contradicting hope. She’s slowly cut down contact to her ringing every other day for five mins, only to “have to go”. She wants to meet for a brief cup of tea every blue moon. But it’s all on her terms. Meanwhile I sit, waiting like a puppy waiting for titbits.
      It’s got to stop, I know. It’s plucking up the bollocks to do it. What stops me is that horrid voice telling me I’m blowing my chances, I’m jumping the gun. The rational bit says “get real pal. There is no hope like this, you look like a twat. Get self respect and if she feels anything she’ll voice it regardless, you can’t change it by waiting like this”
      Good in principle but hard to build courage to do.

I was trying to tell her what was bothering me and she said she felt personally attacked and I’m verbally abusive. I helped her take her car the mechanic yesterday and we went to lunch and hang out and we laughed and talked a bit about how we got there but she told me that she will never get back together and we are not meant to be tougher and that she wants a guy that makes her feel safe and loves her for her which I do but she’s hurt and feels attacked. She’s blocked me for 90 days the last two times and said she will never be back with me but after 3 months of not contacting her we somehow get back together. I do love her and our kids get a long great, her mom also passes this year which has been emotionally hard for. She said being with me she feels drained of energy and it’s exhausting. I could use some help I want this girl back but at the same time I don’t want a girl to break up with me for trying to share my feelings

      I just got dumped today by someone i was really into and i met her not long after i discovered coreys book which i had only read twice. I moved through the dating phase effortlessly and got her to fall in love with me bang on the 8 week mark. I felt really proud of myself. Then suddenly things started getting rocky. The following 2 months became a nightmare. She was going from hot to cold and became very passive aggressive and bitchy. Because i hadn't retained much of the information of the relationship phase in Coreys book, i knew i had lost control and became frantic trying to quickly study that part of the book to correct my mistakes, but i was in a state of fear and found it hard to concentrate. Finally today, she called me and told me we needed to Facetime. This was it. The inevitable was about to happen and sure enough, she proceeded to tell me that things weren't working out and that we should go our seperate ways. The weird thing is, while talking to her, my fear of rejection kind of went away. It was the way she talked to me. It was coming from a place of love and all of a sudden, i started to finally understand the female language as if i can read the Matrix binary code. She was giving me subtle clues of where i fucked up. It was because i failed to stand up to her, when she tested me multiple times, which created a snow ball effect, making her withdrawl and make her even more bitchy. Coreys book says when i woman likes you, she helps you. What she was telling me is that i needed to step up to her and call her out, so she can feel my strength. This realisation actually helped me keep my composure and speak back to her in a calm loving way, by which i started asking questions about how my lack of actions made her feel. I was finally getting her to open up, which is another thing i should of done when she was becoming cold in the first place. By the end of our break up talk, she was telling me how sexy, handsome and amazing i am, which she hadn't said since a couple months ago when she told me she loved me, but she also said i will make some lucky girl happy one day. So she was still giving me the push. I told her that i'm going to start making the first steps to moving on and we wished each other well and said our goodbyes. I could tell she was about to cry just before we ended our chat as her eyes were watering up. There was no mention of the "lets be friends" speech either. I think i may of raised her attraction level just a tad when we had this talk. Enough to get her to regain some respect for me, but not enough to fully want me. I've gone straight into no contact mode now and i can't help the feeling that she will be back. If not, i'm still greatful for the whole experience with her, as she pretty much showed me the weaknesses that i need to work on. So with that being said, i'm going to bury my nose back into Coreys book after i post this comment and try read it as many times as i can, so i can absorb the information and be better prepared for the next woman that comes along.

Got hurt pretty bad but have moved on and am dating someone new now. Being stuck in the friend zone with my ex was one of the most miserable experiences I've ever been through. After 14 years, she gave up on us, she gave up on me. We tried everything, counseling , anger mgmt, meditation retreats... nothing fixed it. Its almost like she was trying to sabotage the relationship in the end. I’m still shocked and devastated. Her ego swelled when she finished med school and became a doctor. She never compromised on things towards the end of our relationship... hardened, and cold at times, its like she changed. My college sweetheart that I supported on her journey for over a decade called it quits. I was not perfect, but neither was she. You think after 14 years of deep love, traveling the world, bonding to our families, sharing deep thoughts... so easy for her to walk away???!! WTF?!!! on top of it all i found a diary of hers when moving out my belongings...it mentioned she slept with two guys within 2 months of us breaking up and she had “fun”? The first things I did: delete her phone number, delete all pictures, delete E-Mails, delete Lync exchanges (we work in the same building), and essentially fell off the face of her earth. Remember don't wait too long trying to kiss her! This should happen at the end of the second or third date. If you've been on the 10th date with her without ever expressing any sexual interest, then no wonder she lost interest or friend-zoned you.

    Crazy thing is... I pulled the “either we friends or nothing thing” and it didn’t go well. This is before I came up on Corey! I was super needy and over pursued when she went SUPER ghost. But she had been pulling away anyways bc of some shit I did a month ago. Which means she was emotionally gone already. Hindsight and after watching videos and starting 3% Man... I. Unwittingly did things HALF right. I told her what I wanted (no friend zone shit) but followed up with needy behavior. If you’re struggling right now it’s not too late to give her the, “... if you change your mind give me a call” move. It’s powerful and even tho it still sucks... after you do it... you gain some balls back. You leave them with FREEDOM... you leave them with agreement on the break up... and you walk AWAY. You leave the door open and in the back of their mind they know if they want you THEY have to come to you... and they know in no uncertain terms that they’re losing you.. (regardless of who broke up with who)... and even if that’s what they want.. human nature still processes it as an emotional fact. The void is there whether they want it or not. But most importantly you.... start... to get your fucking balls back. You HAVE TO DO THIS! It’s fucked up to think “man I might never see or hear from her again.” at first... but you’ll live. And again... it starts you back on the road to being who you are. Id supplement this by posting A FEW things which vaguely show some change... maybe some affirmations about strength or self improvement... and just keep positive. It doesn’t hurt to drip them small little doubts that may pile up over the years... like getting in shape and being a confident guy again. Time fades negativity faster than positivity. One day she may look at your IG and think about how fun you are and be healed over your fuck ups. Then again... by this time you should be doing your own thing anyways. Just be in position to attract AND maintain if you CHOOSE to TAKE HER BACK. Ideally you don’t expect to hear from them again lol buuuut... just master yourself and life will find you

    John L
    First off: great advice coach! You're doing a great job! I recently got dumped myself not to long ago! Sucks of course! But the lesson I've taken away: NEVER reveal your feelings towards a women first! Never ever do that. Let her do the first move! The moment you tell her about your feelings (before she does), she loses interest instantly! It's over! Women need the allurement of uncertainty if they have the guy on the hook or not. It's a big part of the process of falling in love with a guy. If you take her that feeling, she'll drop you like a hot potato! The moment they know they got you, it's over! Also never write her a love letter! This only works in Hollywood movies, but never in real life! Since attraction doesn't take place on paper, but rather in person! Good luck and best whishes to all of you brothers in pain out there, including myself (at the moment)!

    It's the best advice ever. One of two things can happen: either your ex still loves you and realizes how stupid they were for letting you go OR they didn't love you at all but you will start moving on from the relationship sooner. Either way you're better doing that than being pathetic and begging them to take you back (which causes actually the opposite effect). In fact this is not only great advice for breakups, but also for relationships. Never become needy, never distract yourself from your own goals for anyone.

    Yep, if you want a chance at recovering from appearing too needy to a girl or scaring her off then no contact is the most powerful thing you can do. She will 100% wonder 'hey, he was being all needy and now its like hes suddenly dropped off the face off the earth, whats happened?'. Now that doesn't necessarily mean she will contact you, but ive found that if neediness was the only reason and you otherwise had a great time together then theres a strong chance she will. But when she does, please consider whether its worth getting involved again because unless shes serious about you, youre risking going back to square 1 again.

    After i was begging and pleading for about 2 weeks, my ex did end up calling after almost a month of NC. Going NC was one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life, but I did keep busy and met 2 other chicks from Tinder. She said she had one of my shirts (which she admitted was an excuse to see me) and she came over and she ended up spending the night. Been seeing her casually for a few days now. Don't know where it's gonna lead, time will tell. For anyone in the same situation: DO NOT seem too available when she calls. DO NOT seem like you have just been sitting around waiting for her call. Obviously you don't want to seem completely cold, you just don't want her to ever think she can have you anytime she wants, and that you will always be a backup option. Especially if shes at the very least half decent looking, and has options. This is very important. It's a fine line.

    These tips is great for people who can apply the principles outside of living together and having kids together .
    If you don’t have kids and live at your own spot this is cake walk .
    But if you live with the chic it’s hard damn near impossible to these techniques effectively.

    Was in a 10 year on and off relationship with a female. Really strong personality and at times arrogant in a sense where I was constantly getting dumped over Lil things and I was always the one making amends. I was so supportive when she had a bad period and even went into slight debt. Just recently she dumped me again. I've had it. I deleted ALL HER PICS and put her number into spam. These women have the game fucked up. I know in a few days she will pop up saying the miss me blah blah shit. IM DONE !! I've never felt this way. I'm a good dude with great qualities and her arrogance has permanently cost her. Fellas stand up to these chick's. They hurt too in the long run.

    Been taking to this girl for 6 months, everything I could ever want in a girl, the girl of my dreams basically and I over persuaded , became needy and clingy and pushed to to give me an answer every time something I thought was wrong, today I pushed her to the point where she doesn’t wanna work it out anymore, the first 3 months I displayed no neediness, the idaf attitude, never pursued and let her come to me and she was ALL over me, if anyone could help me in this situation it would mean the world to me, coach Coury Wayne never disappoints

      You are supposed to stop playing the hot and cold games at some point after securing the attraction and form a genuine connection. This chasing and be chased program makes one feel unloved and underappreciated to a point where being single is more preferable. You can't make a woman chase for 3 months, you destabilise her self esteem and cause emotional volatility. She becomes so drawn to the chasing that she is not present long enough to attach to you and fall deep in love with you in the normal way. You faked confidence and when your original needy self surfaced she lost attraction because there was no genuine attachment built, she had been focused on the chasing now there was nothing grand to chase anymore because you started showing up as yourself. And her eyes were opened.

    • @nbee6217
      @nbee6217 2 года назад

      Always play these games for a limited amount of time. As soon as you get the girl, start showing up as the only man for her so you keep her attraction alive. Maintain confidence, don't be a push over. But remain in charge of your emotions and display strong emotional maturity. Detaching is super easy for a woman who never attached.

    August 2018 is when I found your work and that will be a month that has been a positive turning point in my life. I'm on the 4th read of your book and therefore ignorant to what awaits me when I'm in the 10-15 range of readings. I've been dabbling in the pickup community since 2004, dabbling is the key word and yet haven't found advice that has truly changed my dating life until finding your work. The girl that drove me to your work contacted me after a month of no-contact yet since she has moved to Hawaii I've been focusing on dating women that are local to me. The real journey started in Feb 2018 when I gave myself a 30-day challenge to approach at least one woman per day and have had more dates and hookups than I've had in the past 5 years combined. I haven't approached as much during the holiday season yet I ran into my high school crush at the grocery store and we have a date set up and thanks to your material it was so easy to set something up with her. The only mental struggle I have with this girl is taking her off the pedestal I've put her on for all these years yet my goal with her is to hang out, have fun and hook up...make her laugh and enjoy ourselves. I'm 38 and for the first time in my life I'm happily single. I still have times where I feel down and depressed yet I've learned to enjoy the challenge of turning my thoughts around and knowing that I'm worth what I truly want in life. I have a beautiful 6 year old son and look forward to helping him out with his dating life when he comes of age. Thank you Corey for all your help. Your 3% man book is a must read for men who have been struggling with dealing with women. I look forward to buying the hardcover edition to keep around in case the Kindle machine goes down one day!

    I have no idea why your videos were in my recommended section but they are really good! While I agree with most of the stuff, it wouldn't work for me since I don't like chasing anyone. However, your tips must be working great, especially if the woman plays the active part. Keep up the great work!

    I swear these videos are like medicine for the soul helps me through one of the worst break ups I’m going through right now. She says it’s goodbye for now I told her don’t contact me until she’s ready for something serious because we were serious for quite some time. No contact. It’s hard but I’m doing it. If she can’t respect me enough to keep me in her life she doesn’t deserve me. There are better sweeter hotter women out there that want me. I’m not gonna worry about losing her. Even though I loved her immensely, there’s plenty of fish in the sea
    She may be gone but as much as she said she loved me, she’ll be back. And if not I don’t care. It just means it wasn’t meant to be and I’m gonna keep on living life and becoming the best version of myself. I’m on my ninth of the book, it’s probably gonna take me 20 to get it all down but I’ve been dealing with a lot of shit recently and it got me a little on the weak side. I got a hold of myself, said I’m not gonna let this bother me in this way, took control of my emotions, and decided to be who I need to be as a man my heart feels so much stronger and calmer. 😊

    Here's an exception though: if the reason you were dumped was because you were not investing enough in the relationship/showing your partner enough love and attention. If he/she felt insecure in the relationship, or you took him/her for granted, and ended up losing the relationship due to that.. the last thing you should do is just ignore and walk away when you get dumped for that, because you are showing that you really did not care and that they were right to leave.

      For me it was the opposite. Went super good for 3-4 months and at the first confrontation she said we not a good fit, it don't work etc. She has depressions as well so her own problems play a role as well mind you, a very difficult girl with a baggage who told me letting people into her life is hard. Anyway, end result was: it ain't working out, not ready for a relationship, it's not working we too different, my feelings went faster than hers etc.
      It's fucked up cus in my head it was all perfect until she just broke up with me out of the literal blue

    I broke up with my boyfriend after going through something traumatic, I asked him for space and he said he couldn’t give me space. I asked him 3x to just give me a little space because I wasn’t eating or sleeping and it was affecting us. He couldn’t give me space and I broke up with him. I seriously was not eating or sleeping for 2 weeks. I felt overwhelmed emotionally, spiritually mentally at work, etc . I reached out to him and he said now he’s not ready for a relationship and will reach out to me either way in the future to let me know. I want to wait for him, but I feel like he should have been understanding especially in that situation... granted he did go through a lot with me over the year because of what I experienced. I think he was fed up/ tired at that point. I really cared for him. I didn’t know how else to get back up on my feet I just felt so overwhelmed.
