Nicely done, Eric. Bummer about the dogs scaring off your birds but . . . it happens. Lovely footage of them at the end.

Yeah, the reality of filming in popular public places. It makes you appreciate those special moments that much more! Thanks for watching!

Nice Video, I to (being a wildlife filmmaker) totally understand the frustration of not seeing a thing sometimes. Ugh. Your exposure of the Ptarmigan and snow is exceptional. I'm curious what was your white balance? When I'm in snow I have at 6200 Kalvin.

Thanks for the kind words, I still feel like I have a lot to learn on the color side, but I’ve made enough mistake now to get by haha. These were shot at 6400k with a slight tweak in WB/tint. Nailing exposure in snow has been a learning curve for sure but (un)luckily we are just a few inches away from an all time seasonal record so it’s been all I’ve been shooting since October! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it! -Eric

How disappointing, I like dog but sometimes argh 😠. Lovely scenery. How nice is it to live so close to wildlife.

Yes, the close access is what I love about living here but it also means dealing with everyone else. I almost didn’t post a “fail” but figured it’s about as true to most outings as I go on. Thanks for watching! -Eric
