Of you couldn’t tell I’m black myself and I think other black people should venture into music like this ie rock and metal to expand their horizons and open the minds as well as their eyes to everything out there! When I first started listening and playing rock/Metal music my family thought I was a devil worshipper or something 🤣. But now they just talk about how good I can play no matter what I’m playing! I’m currently working on learning Broken by Pantera. I got like 70-80% of the song down I just can’t get that solo lol. But I’ll get it and when I do hell it might be my first video I post on here lol.
Dime's sound and tone was something that I've only heard from him and no one replicated it. He was so unique in that way. You did an awesome job with this solo. Keep going bro!!
Most of dimes sound and tone came from his pickups and large amounts of distortion but without the lx500 pickup you wouldn't ever be able to exactly replicate it. Not to mention he had so much of his soul go into his playong
I'm actually not a fan of his tone. I always find it way too glassy. No bottom end or trxtural thickness. It works well for squeals and high notes during fast playing, but it lacks a heaviness. It's blasphemy, I know.
@@The_ScapeGoatRex provides the heaviness, I feel the amount of mid dime had usually compensated for the lack of a rhythm guitarist and the full sound works imo
