It was stated that they went both to blue immediately, then. He goes down to ssj2 with rage, then he shits on vegeta in one shot. Thats when cooler tired, out. So he just defeated a beyond blue level charecter. He didnt knock em out but he did knock em down and he didn't get up until the next chapter. Or he wasn't shown at least.
But wasn't Dyspo still damaged or fatigued from his fight with Hit. Because the animators from the T.O.P always drawn Dyspo with scratches after his fight with Hit.

Cooler has always been stronger than Frieza. But this video is not about who is stronger at the moment. This is about who has more potential... Of course Cooler is way more stronger is raw strength, but Frieza has potential in Ki control and all that "pew pew" Ki battle.
That would also increase stamina drain, which is already a problem for them since they dont do cardio or training of any sort, usually. Cooler would have to finish the fight VERY quickly, and I dont think there is enough of a power gap there to do that.
But, 5th form does not cause any stamina drain. It was also shown to offer equal power increase to that of a super space warrior. The reason Goku beat him was simple, Cooler forgot Sayains got stronger when they recover. He did not account for after Freezas fight, nor when he failed to kill him with his laser eyes.

always thought of it as Cooler being the more tactical and "cool" tempered between him and frieza, so he's able to control golden form a lot better. even can take a Naruto reference to it and say Cooler is more of a "genius" then his little brother. so golden form just comes more natural to Cooler.
That isn't Cooler's base, 5th form is a power up, because he actually reverts to it at the end of Cooler's Revenge. And Cooler is just keeping on in 5th form after losing a lot of energy in Golden Form. So if Cooler is like his father and brother who didn't need to train but did until he unlocked his 5th form and surpass his little brother out of sheer spite. So Cooler could very well gain the Mastered Golden Form after training for a little longer, and sooner than Frieza did, again out of sheer spite for his brother..
Yeah best to think of the forms like integers. The 3 supressed forms are the minus(-) states. The 4th true form is the 0 state which is bald Frieza form and the 100% baseform. Cooler's form would be in the (+)plus state. Which is interesting to me because it would seem they can theoretically apply gold to the surpressed forms if golden state is mastered in the 0 state or +State(Cooler's form) Though it's never shown or mentioned being accessible in the surpressed forms in the - minus states. So maybe it us unlikely that they could apply gold to these surpressed forms. Because they are well, surpressed. Even if it would work it seems it's likely to have an adverse effect on the surpressed forms rather providing an overall gain. Ki loss or Stamina issues. But perhaps that's how Frieza might have improved his after Resurrection F, by making incremental improvements by using Gold in surpressed forms to strengthen Gold when in his unsurpressed form is used. That would be cool if they put a little tidbit in some form of media in the DB realm on how he strengthened Gold, and this kinda makes some sense how I've sorta explained it I think.
It kinda works as an explanation on how he could have mastered Gold before the recruitment of the ToP. If he could have applied gold for a few minutes in those surpressed states and gradually increased that length of time over time in his negative state(s) it would have stabilized and perfected his use of Gold in his base state as it would actually be much harder to maintain Gold in surpression. If you can incrementally increase the time usage of the Gold multiplier in them, you would be perfecting its usage in unsurpressed form but the surpressed forms with Gold would be useless for fighting SSB and higher and explain why we'd never see them in the manga and anime. It also could serve as a vehicle for how Frieza could potentially achieve Cooler's 5th form in canon. If he were able to apply Gold to his most surpressed state for 1-2 minutes and hold it, perhaps it would explain how he accidentally stumbles upon the Cooler 5th form(+) and further his mastery of applying Gold to his 5th form. It would be cool if Frieza got it as an homage to Cooler if he never becomes canonized. At least the 5th form could be canonized via this method of explanation. And Frieza could skip right to Gold 5th form right of the bat. After all, that how we got Kale before we got Broly. Broly was an homage to Movie Broly, and her form is more like the non canon movie version than what DBS movie Broly's power is like. So I could see this as a workable solution to canonize 5th form. Ascended Frieza. Who knows, it might be what would trigger a new Cooler movie. Maybe it paves the way for a Canon Cooler.
So it would make sense this proposition, but if done this way would it make Frieza the Kale to his brother? His bro essentially becoming the Ikari Broly? If you're to lay the groundwork for 5th form through Frieza and canonize 5th form first. By the time you introduce Cooler, you can Broly-ize him and say that he could achieve those states just by having seen it. That what took hard work for Frieza, blood sweat and tears, new Cooler is a 'freak' like a LSS and can pick these things up just through observation. Introduce new Cooler not as someone Frieza despises or has a sibling rivalry with but the brother even he fears and dreads. Give the old non Canon Broly's bloodthirsty personality traits to new canon Cooler on top of ever increasing power and ability to easily pick up what his brother Frieza had to fight claw tooth and nail for.
I'd like to suggest that Cooler was so scary that King Cold had apparently had this new Cooler banished and executed out of fear of him being his and his blood line's actual downfall of his empire if he was allowed to live and have Frieza believe his Older Brother was long since dead. Only to find the shock his newly revived empire is in danger from Cooler on a rampage to kill his brother and is insane with bloodlust. Frieza encounters but through his wile and intelligence narrowly escapes his death at the hands of his insane brute of a blood thirsty brother, has no where else to turn to for help but those miserable disgusting monkeys back on Earth for help. He absolutely hates it, asking Vegeta and Goku for help, but explains Frieza had used his 5th form in Gold and could not beat him, hence his grovelling and that his brother learned that very form just by seeing it. That this is why he's pleading for the help from stupid Saiyan monkeys. Either way he knows if Goku can't defeat him, he can at least die right afterwards at least in a twisted way before his brother would kill him, someone of his kind put Goku and Vegeta down before he gets crushed. It would be a cool way to bring Broly in again telling him after he helps Goku and Vegeta, menacingly an exchange between him and Broly says after Cooler is dealt with he will be coming back to deal with Frieza next. Obviously that likely would not happen by movie's end because as usual the Saiyans are going to be pretty exhausted by the ordeal of whatever it took to put down Cooler. Frieza would have gotten out of dodge before it went all tits up anyhow.
To be completely honest the fact that frieza and coolers air quote final forms are actually their base forms and that the other forms are just suppressors is terrifying because that just goes to show how OP they are.

Very hard question. Cooler is more powerful at the moment, and has more experience is battle at the moment, BUT Frieza seems to have hidden potential in him. There just is something about him you cant explain, if you know what I mean. You get that vibe from people in real life aswell when you can't really explain the reason, but you know what it is. This is pretty much same for Frieza.. Cooler has potential in raw strength power, but Frieza has more potential in Ki power. See there is a difference

i think the main argument for frieza is that in the ToP arc, he mastered his golden form and called it "True Golden Frieza", while Cooler only has the initial golden form (maybe?)
You're forgetting that according to Cooler (In Cooler's Revenge) Frieza is stronger than Cooler in all their forms, the only advantage Cooler had was that he unlocked the 5th form and Frieza didn't. *However* we also see in Revenge of Cooler that he isn't actually as strong as fourth form Frieza at 100% power (when compared to SSJ Goku), this means Frieza improved since their last fight and Cooler did not. "Golden Form" is a power up just like SSJ, if Frieza is stronger than Cooler when neither are using golden then Cooler cannot possibly surpass him by if both use the same power up.
Why it's not like he would be smart enough to use it, he could have simply transformed and rekt Trunks but instead he tried to be all smart with the sword and lost his chance (in fairness though this is partly due to his dumbness and partly due to Trunks being pretty much the only hero in DBZ to actually kill a stronger opponent before he could power up :P).
The ten commandments are strong in their universe but don't scale very well outside of their series. If anything the Akatsuki would feel like a better match up especially because of their commandments vs jutsu, and they can take a few hits at least.
Those two points you used trying to prove Golden Frieza is beyond Blue Goku are quite hollow. Firstly, Frieza has been known to over estimate his abilities... i mean, just look at when he fought GoD Toppo, he was laughing at his transformation just like he was laughing at Kale and Caulifla. Frieza once said that he’s not very good at controlling his power in his true form and as a result developed the other three forms as “suppression forms” to tone down his overwhelming power and make it easier for him to interact with weaker beings. Cooler has greater control over, being about to lower his power to the point that the Z-Warriors couldn't sense him. 2. Cooler managed to ascend to a more powerful form and stay in it with out issue. 3. It took Frieza 4 month of training to achieve this where Cooler took seconds of just force of will. So for sure Cooler wins but I kinda wish he staid on his own path and didn't choose Golden as his new form.

Cooler is one of the best villains in this series. His newest form, Golden Cooler, is at least ten times more powerful than Golden Frieza when he first made the transformation in "Resurrection F" the movie. King Cold, Cooler, and Frieza are some of the most influential characters (from any series) to date on the overall manga and comic field. If Cooler was to train his overall potential would be phenomenal.
Cooler stated in the first movie that frieza was stronger than him in base for years, and then he unlocked his special form and shit on him, and then proceeded to have goku show him up base to base. So I’d say frieza technically has more potential, but since cooler has transformation he has an additional multiplier. Also, accumulated experiences plays a factor in this, as frieza had to train for 4 months to unlock the form. Maybe since cooler trained a lot more to unlock his original super form, maybe his cumulative experience allowed him to unlock it easier. And that experience likely gives him more growth potential. So really it becomes a question of base potential vs practical potential.
Where is it stated Cooler didn’t train to go Golden? Pretty sure Cooler was in the prison planet for longer before goku and vegeta even got there, maybe he just trained there before trunks was captured?

I find that they sort of speed up the progress of other characters just to keep them relevant and I think they did that with Cooler even just a little bit to give him a fighting chance.
You know what, I noticed that in Frieza's race, the older relative have more potential oddly enough, because King Cold wasn't even is his "2nd Form" ever
Hasn’t anybody realised that if Cell is training in Hell, he could achieve a gold form AND a SSJ Blu form, and that he should be able to absorb other villains in Hell, such as some Androids, King Cold, the Ginyu Force etc. Also, since he has Saiyan DNA, he would get stronger after each battle AND be able to mimic other moves he didn’t know before. Also, if he absorbs Bio-Broly he would be able to achieve the LSSJ form.
Since Frieza's ideology is "punch at it until it submits", and Cooler being more cunning and tactical thinker. Cooler would be training smarter, meaning that he could obtain and master forms much faster once he figures the pros and cons. Learning and knowing how to utilise them in training and combat is something that can become a very deadly opponent.
I mean since frieza didnt train his whole life he got those fast gains which now he cannot do and he would gain normal power level as he trains like any normal fighter
I think Coolers 4th form is an actual transformation for his race because it comes after the base form that it seems out of the three Freiza race characters we got that all of them have it. I hope this made sense I just woke up.
Just going to say something about Goku vs frieza, Goku went Ssjb just because he wanted to test his strength, He wasn't really that serious and suppressed his power in blue, Its like a bottle of water, Goku's forms are like that, he can either fill all the bottle (Go full power) or he can have a small amount of water (Suppress) Sure he could go Ssj but I mean it wouldn't be that fun for him.
Its also stated by captain ginyu that all of the strongest warriors in the universe had been genetically altered, Goku being the only one who had got that far only training. Which is why I didnt complain when Frieza trained for 4 months and got that strong.
Cooler trained during his life to get stronger than Frieza but Frieza NEVER trained at all. But then when he trained for just 4 months his power sky rockets! Imagine if Frieza trained for as long as Goku did he possibly could become stronger than Beerus or be close to Jiren’s awakened power!
It's Frieza. We know from Revenge of Cooler and from main DBZ that Frieza at 100% power in his fourth form is stronger than Cooler at 100% power in his 5th form, all the golden power up does is boost the existing power level like super Saiyan does, it doesn't matter if its a multiplicative or additive boost, if the base power level is lower then the golden power level will be too.
also people seem to not realize frieza has been training forever ever since losing to goku to become stronger and beat the super saiyans cooler on the other hand just came outta no where and hasnt come back at all to show where he trained or has some sort of vendetta but if somehow in super they open up the option to maybe cooler being on some other universe or planet somehow training to come back and seek vengance now that would be sick af.
It wasn't necessarily that the form is a massive drain its stated in the movie that soon as he obtained the form he came to fight not being used to it.
I think that if we were to argue the actual character here instead of fan service, Cooler trained so that Frieza couldn't catch up and got a better form. That being said, Freeza trained and unlocked the golden form. So, I think that Cooler in this case already had the training part down, he just didn't know there was still another power to gain. Once he did, it was as easy as him understanding that there's a greater power to unlock. As for the true golden form, I think he may need some humiliation, if he didn't already get it.
Technically, Cooler is stronger than Frieza considering he has two augmented forms which can both be combined to drastically improve the outcome. In terms of potential though Frieza has him beat if only he would train more.

That isn't Cooler's base, 5th form is a power up, because he actually reverts to it at the end of Cooler's Revenge. And Cooler is just keeping on in 5th form after losing a lot of energy in Golden Form. So if Cooler is like his father and brother who didn't need to train but did until he unlocked his 5th form and surpass his little brother out of sheer spite. So Cooler could very well gain the Mastered Golden Form after training for a little longer, and sooner than Frieza did, again out of sheer spite for his brother..
Yeah best to think of the forms like integers. The 3 supressed forms are the minus(-) states. The 4th true form is the 0 state which is bald Frieza form and the 100% baseform. Cooler's form would be in the (+)plus state. Which is interesting to me because it would seem they can theoretically apply gold to the surpressed forms if golden state is mastered in the 0 state or +State(Cooler's form) Though it's never shown or mentioned being accessible in the surpressed forms in the - minus states. So maybe it us unlikely that they could apply gold to these surpressed forms. Because they are well, surpressed. Even if it would work it seems it's likely to have an adverse effect on the surpressed forms rather providing an overall gain. Ki loss or Stamina issues. But perhaps that's how Frieza might have improved his after Resurrection F, by making incremental improvements by using Gold in surpressed forms to strengthen Gold when in his unsurpressed form is used. That would be cool if they put a little tidbit in some form of media in the DB realm on how he strengthened Gold, and this kinda makes some sense how I've sorta explained it I think.
It kinda works as an explanation on how he could have mastered Gold before the recruitment of the ToP. If he could have applied gold for a few minutes in those surpressed states and gradually increased that length of time over time in his negative state(s) it would have stabilized and perfected his use of Gold in his base state as it would actually be much harder to maintain Gold in surpression. If you can incrementally increase the time usage of the Gold multiplier in them, you would be perfecting its usage in unsurpressed form but the surpressed forms with Gold would be useless for fighting SSB and higher and explain why we'd never see them in the manga and anime. It also could serve as a vehicle for how Frieza could potentially achieve Cooler's 5th form in canon. If he were able to apply Gold to his most surpressed state for 1-2 minutes and hold it, perhaps it would explain how he accidentally stumbles upon the Cooler 5th form(+) and further his mastery of applying Gold to his 5th form. It would be cool if Frieza got it as an homage to Cooler if he never becomes canonized. At least the 5th form could be canonized via this method of explanation. And Frieza could skip right to Gold 5th form right of the bat. After all, that how we got Kale before we got Broly. Broly was an homage to Movie Broly, and her form is more like the non canon movie version than what DBS movie Broly's power is like. So I could see this as a workable solution to canonize 5th form. Ascended Frieza. Who knows, it might be what would trigger a new Cooler movie. Maybe it paves the way for a Canon Cooler.
So it would make sense this proposition, but if done this way would it make Frieza the Kale to his brother? His bro essentially becoming the Ikari Broly? If you're to lay the groundwork for 5th form through Frieza and canonize 5th form first. By the time you introduce Cooler, you can Broly-ize him and say that he could achieve those states just by having seen it. That what took hard work for Frieza, blood sweat and tears, new Cooler is a 'freak' like a LSS and can pick these things up just through observation. Introduce new Cooler not as someone Frieza despises or has a sibling rivalry with but the brother even he fears and dreads. Give the old non Canon Broly's bloodthirsty personality traits to new canon Cooler on top of ever increasing power and ability to easily pick up what his brother Frieza had to fight claw tooth and nail for.
I'd like to suggest that Cooler was so scary that King Cold had apparently had this new Cooler banished and executed out of fear of him being his and his blood line's actual downfall of his empire if he was allowed to live and have Frieza believe his Older Brother was long since dead. Only to find the shock his newly revived empire is in danger from Cooler on a rampage to kill his brother and is insane with bloodlust. Frieza encounters but through his wile and intelligence narrowly escapes his death at the hands of his insane brute of a blood thirsty brother, has no where else to turn to for help but those miserable disgusting monkeys back on Earth for help. He absolutely hates it, asking Vegeta and Goku for help, but explains Frieza had used his 5th form in Gold and could not beat him, hence his grovelling and that his brother learned that very form just by seeing it. That this is why he's pleading for the help from stupid Saiyan monkeys. Either way he knows if Goku can't defeat him, he can at least die right afterwards at least in a twisted way before his brother would kill him, someone of his kind put Goku and Vegeta down before he gets crushed. It would be a cool way to bring Broly in again telling him after he helps Goku and Vegeta, menacingly an exchange between him and Broly says after Cooler is dealt with he will be coming back to deal with Frieza next. Obviously that likely would not happen by movie's end because as usual the Saiyans are going to be pretty exhausted by the ordeal of whatever it took to put down Cooler. Frieza would have gotten out of dodge before it went all tits up anyhow.
To be completely honest the fact that frieza and coolers air quote final forms are actually their base forms and that the other forms are just suppressors is terrifying because that just goes to show how OP they are.

Very hard question. Cooler is more powerful at the moment, and has more experience is battle at the moment, BUT Frieza seems to have hidden potential in him. You're forgetting that according to Cooler (In Cooler's Revenge) Frieza is stronger than Cooler in all their forms, the only advantage Cooler had was that he unlocked the 5th form and Frieza didn't. *However* we also see in Revenge of Cooler that he isn't actually as strong as fourth form Frieza at 100% power (when compared to SSJ Goku), this means Frieza improved since their last fight and Cooler did not. "Golden Form" is a power up just like SSJ, if Frieza is stronger than Cooler when neither are using golden then Cooler cannot possibly surpass him by if both use the same power up.

The ten commandments are strong in their universe but don't scale very well outside of their series. If anything the Akatsuki would feel like a better match up especially because of their commandments vs jutsu, and they can take a few hits at least.
Those two points you used trying to prove Golden Frieza is beyond Blue Goku are quite hollow.
Firstly, Frieza has been known to over estimate his abilities... i mean, just look at when he fought GoD Toppo, he was laughing at his transformation just like he was laughing at Kale and Caulifla. 2. Cooler managed to ascend to a more powerful form and stay in it with out issue.
3. It took Frieza 4 month of training to achieve this where Cooler took seconds of just force of will.

Cooler stated in the first movie that frieza was stronger than him in base for years, and then he unlocked his special form and shit on him, and then proceeded to have goku show him up base to base. So I’d say frieza technically has more potential, but since cooler has transformation he has an additional multiplier. Also, accumulated experiences plays a factor in this, as frieza had to train for 4 months to unlock the form. Maybe since cooler trained a lot more to unlock his original super form, maybe his cumulative experience allowed him to unlock it easier. And that experience likely gives him more growth potential. So really it becomes a question of base potential vs practical potential.

You know what, I noticed that in Frieza's race, the older relative have more potential oddly enough, because King Cold wasn't even is his "2nd Form" ever
Hasn’t anybody realised that if Cell is training in Hell, he could achieve a gold form AND a SSJ Blu form, and that he should be able to absorb other villains in Hell, such as some Androids, King Cold, the Ginyu Force etc. Also, since he has Saiyan DNA, he would get stronger after each battle AND be able to mimic other moves he didn’t know before. Also, if he absorbs Bio-Broly he would be able to achieve the LSSJ form.
Since Frieza's ideology is "punch at it until it submits", and Cooler being more cunning and tactical thinker. Cooler would be training smarter, meaning that he could obtain and master forms much faster once he figures the pros and cons. Learning and knowing how to utilise them in training and combat is something that can become a very deadly opponent.

Just going to say something about Goku vs frieza, Goku went Ssjb just because he wanted to test his strength, He wasn't really that serious and suppressed his power in blue, Its like a bottle of water, Goku's forms are like that, he can either fill all the bottle (Go full power) or he can have a small amount of water (Suppress) Sure he could go Ssj but I mean it wouldn't be that fun for him.
Its also stated by captain ginyu that all of the strongest warriors in the universe had been genetically altered, Goku being the only one who had got that far only training. Which is why I didnt complain when Frieza trained for 4 months and got that strong.

We know from Revenge of Cooler and from main DBZ that Frieza at 100% power in his fourth form is stronger than Cooler at 100% power in his 5th form, all the golden power up does is boost the existing power level like super Saiyan does, it doesn't matter if its a multiplicative or additive boost, if the base power level is lower then the golden power level will be too.

I think that if we were to argue the actual character here instead of fan service, Cooler trained so that Frieza couldn't catch up and got a better form. That being said, Freeza trained and unlocked the golden form. So, I think that Cooler in this case already had the training part down, he just didn't know there was still another power to gain. Once he did, it was as easy as him understanding that there's a greater power to unlock. As for the true golden form, I think he may need some humiliation, if he didn't already get it.
