- Could Monarch Solo Dragon Ball Super? Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Super is easily one of the most powerful Anime series out there, and it’s full of strong and interesting characters, such as Son Goku, Beerus, Jiren, and Goku Black. However, what if Captain Atom, a former hero who eventually became the villainous Monarch, stumbled upon the Dragon Ball universe? Would his quest for domination be cut short, or would he be able to utterly destroy everyone, including the Omni King Zeno?

I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving or had a good weekend in general! PLEASE let me know if you guys prefer this style of editing. A quick Dragon Ball video will drop later this week. I've had a delay since I've been feeling sick, but I will definitely have Godzilla out early this month.
A quick note. Obviously, Monarch can be scaled much higher going by the Monitors and Mxy's power, but it isn't his most consistent levels of power, and if I did use it, there would be no point in making the video. He definitely has evidence to imply that he has higher raw power than DBS characters, but there is no distinguishable "number" difference between him and other universal-multiversal characters, we just know that he is big stronk compared to them. The reason I said DBS might have greater raw power is because of the ludicrous power climbing which we know can easily be thousands, if not millions+ of times. For ex; SSJB Goku post-first UI trigger became far stronger than SSJB Vegito and Merged Zamasu. Potara is literally AxB, then stack the SSJB multiplier, and Goku surpassed that, on top of getting more zenkais after that.
I didn't bring up Xenoverse/Heroes because the video would have been much longer and quite honestly, there is higher scaling for Monarch as well, so it wouldn't really matter. Although I could do a video on that in the future if you guys would like.

My only thing with including Angels, is that we (obviously) don't know what they can do yet. Everything that we've ever seen an Angel do has been done *uber* casually.
Same with Zeno, we can assume Monarch could kill him, but that's assuming we know how durable he is. Or even how powerful he is in general, which we don't because he's never been attacked nor shown anywhere near the limits of his powers. So saying that monarch could probably kill him is kinda silly.

Monarch blitzes and one taps the entire verse
The pure fact that he could withstand the avatar of death trying to corrupt him when not even in his strongest form proves that he’d solo just about anyone except the angels since we don’t know what their full potential is yet.
Very cool man. Good coverage on Monarch. That scene where he absorbs a group of Captain Atoms was lit, and definitely proves he casually stomps multiple Universe+ foes even when not at his peak. I would say realistically a conservative estimate of his power is low multiverse level, with a higher estimate being multiversal.
Really in most cases if Monarch is equal or superior in power to any of the DB cast his hax, stamina and intellect will bring him the win over them. Although there are a few broken hax in DB that could pose serious problems for him.
If we go with low multiverse level, I think he casually solos all DBZ/DBGT for sure, and should easily be able to beat SSJG BoG Goku even if we use the conservative low multiverse power, he would likely outlast SSJG Goku from BoG and be at least as strong if not stronger than him, but I think he comes to a stop against SSJB Goku due to raw speed and power since SSJB Goku should reach multiverse level and be faster.
Although if we say Monarch is Multiversal, which you could as a higher end for him via scaling, I would say he could likely stop SSJB RoF Goku due to better hax and stamina, and at least equal power if not more, but then he is potentially getting outclassed by speed and power again with guys like Beerus, Fused Zamasu whos regen I don't see him getting around (in manga they confirm Beerus can't kill him with hakai, giving him regeneration from non existence, and in anime it is implied to since Whis and Beerus say they would need to seal him), Angels etc. who can casually stomp standard multiversal guys, and have some hax that would be a huge problem in some cases.
So my conclusion is a conservative low multiversal Monarch beats SSJG BoG Goku, but gets outclassed once RoF Goku uses SSJB due to the power diffrence. A higher scaled Monarch who is multiversal could probably beat everybody up until GoD level, at which point likely the GoD level guys would start to equal or surpass Monarch's power again, they shouldnt be slower imo scaling from other world feat, and have several hax which would be very difficult for him to get around to, so he would get stopped probably by Fused Zamasu (giving him the regen stated in manga or using manga version), Beerus etc (with Hakai aura and raw power, speed, skill etc.) who are all both intelligent, have good hax and would at least be on par if not start to surpass Monarch in power, and speed wise they should surpass him to scaling from the other world feat or the infinite speed feats in DBS.
So I think he gets stopped somewhere in the GoD level guys, especially if they work together if we use mulitversal level for Monarch.
I know that he could possibly scale to the Monitors, but I see scaling him to their true forms as inconsistent and speculative personally. Of course if he was scaled to them then its not really a contest anymore so there wouldn't even be a point in the debate lol.

Let's see, Monarch already was universal to begin with but he absorbed 51 other Captain Atoms after beating them all simultaneously. Each Captain Atom could basically create or destroy a universe when breaking their limits. He added FIFTY ONE others to his power. He went toe to toe with Superman Prime(amped Superboy Prime) who tortured Mxy who is a 5th dimensional Imp. Zeno is 4D at best since, unlike Mxy, he can be duplicated by time and more than one exists over multiple time lines which means, in theory, a powerful enough matter, reality and time manipulator can erase him from time. Since Monarch controls the quantum field (which basically everything in the universe including time) so he'd have a chance at soloing. Every universe has a quantum field, even other fictional universes. Another thing, Monarch (like SBP) cannot be erased from reality do to immunity to reality warping, soul manipulation, time manipulation, etc. Basically the only way to beat him is with someone who has shown to be a higher multiversal or equal.
Tbh any character who is abstract level could atomize all verses except for like Marvel DC and SCP and this guy oh boy he atomizes deities who are leauges above abstracts

The one thing about speed blitzing without the power to drop a character, as the super characters can clearly take a few hits from monarch before going down, is that speed blitzing tends to get predictable after two or three hits... and some of these people have limited precog. They just have to grab him and then it might go the way of that scene from invincible. I don't think it's too terribly likely any one of them does it, but he does have to go through several, and all it takes is one fuck up to lose momentum in a fight. Still, I, mostly, think you're on the money here. Good job sir.

I definitely think Monarch would be killing AT LEAST half of the DBS verse, but I don't think he can solo the whole thing. Of course, this depends on how it would go down. If every person in DBS came at him only with one on ones, sure, he would eventually have killed the entire verse(except for Zeno, cause we don't have enough information, therefore I see it as a 50/50). But it's not like the DBS verse will just fight him one one like that. Once they see he's a threat, every single being in the DBS verse will be going at him at once, and I do not believe he can win against that.

Toddles you may say that, but he has no feats that comes close to being able to beat the entire DBS verse at once. Again, he is definitely stronger than any single character except for maybe Zeno as we don't know he strong he is, but that doesn't really go very far when there's this many people with so many abilities going at him at once. Once you have some solid proof that he can beat all of that at once with a safe argument, I will take this seriously.

Nope. angels and grandpriest can casually manipulate matter, time and space. Subzero did nothing to base vegeta. Base goku went inside a blackhole. Beerus has hakai erasure and can destroy a universe. Beerus nullify an explosion that will bust universe. Zeno can erase multi verse.
Monarch manipulate reality. Not universes. So the size of universe doesnt matter. Time and space doesnt matter. Universal level destruction doesnt matter. If it's not mid tier complex Multiversal destruction at the least. Everyone except zeno will die. Monarch was jumping from universe to universe completely trashing the strongest superheroes in those universe by himself.

This is not an argument from a Dragon Ball fanboy but rather a fellow nerd who happens to know a lot about DC and Dragon Ball in general and I wanted to have an awesome debate as you’re one of my favorite RUclips’ers when it comes to using science to scale the powers and abilities of fictional characters and just great videos in general. That being said, here I go. I disagree with your opinion that Monarch could solo the entire Dragon Ball Super for two reasons and I feel that you’re incorrect in three of your facts. Incorrect fact number one: Captain Atom/Monarch is a being of living energy and you proposed that Hakai wouldn’t be that effective against Monarch as he could “absorb” it and resist the soul destruction but Hakai also destroys energy as Top or Toppo demonstrated when he become a God of Destruction and destroyed multiple balls of energy that Frieza sent his way. This would be very detrimental to Monarch as he is a being made of energy contained in a suit regardless wether or not he could resist the soul destruction. Incorrect fact number two: You said Goku has very little stamina but that’s false, time and again it’s been shown that Goku’s stamina and endurance are two of his best assets in a battle. Incorrect fact number three: You mentioned that you though Monarch would kill Zeno however it has been stated by Shin the Eastern Supreme Kai that Zeno is unkillable and this is proven later when he survived the destruction/erasure of an entire multiverse and naturally this would apply to each of the Zenos. Now onto the two reasons I believe your opinion that Monarch would solo the Dragon Ball Super verse is wrong. Reason number one: He would be vulnerable and possibly even killed by the energy erasing property of the Hakai. Reason number two: The Zenos would simply tank all of his attacks then proceed to erase him from existence.

Zeno and the Angels are pretty featless and you can't really judge whether or not Monarch could beat them. We've never seen what they are capable at their peak levels, and they could very well be more powerful than Monarch.
