      If you knead the flour n roll it with a rolling pin, you will gv exercise to the shoulder, wrist n fingers :):)..this looks to tk more time too ..

      I also tried although in an ordinary tawa. It was only like dosa. Not sure if I should buy a non-stick tawa only for this reason.

    Called gola ruti in Bengali. I've heard women used to make and eat this in fasting/vrats when they can't have rotis as they are roasted over flame, and didn't want to have fried stuff like Puri/parathas. However it takes so much time to cook, one can learn making normal roti/parathas in that time. Tip: just roll in any shape, cut with a round lid 😂
    This can be a fun project though.

    This kind of chapatti did fluff up like it was shown ... but took a long time to cook and it was still doughy on the inside even after cooking it for a very long time ... hence I would go back to the original way of making chapatti ..

    The taste is good but when I tried making, it took way too much time n wasn't the texture of chapathi. It tasted more like a distant relative of pancake but once a while it is a good recipe to try

    Tried this method it is very slow and you have to be very precise to get consistency right for liquid dough. Can't do trial and error with this.

      Though taste is good. One side looks like paratha and the other like dosa. It takes more time to cook then regular roti. I tired as this is a viral recipe. Believe me u will switch to the traditional method.

    Just tried this out because I just had no energy at the end of the day to knead the dough and have to say this takes way longer to cook and was still uncooked on the inside after roasting it on the tava for over 15-20 minutes. So not worth the time!

      Microwave in after. That cooks the interior.
      But these are best for freezing and then cooking again

      Actually for dosa we add some rice flour too and the dosa dough is thin like buttermilk. This technique looks slightly different. But wheat dosa tastes awesome. Can try this too...

      @@arpitadatta2711 I strongly believe the person who made this video 100%know that this is not Chapathi and they presented this as Chapathi to fool people or to get views. . If you call a pancake as a biscuit then you can call it as Chapathi 😊 because both are made from same incredients but one is liquid batter and the other one is thick like dough

    All in all this is another way of way of using wheat flour to make something to eat in a jiffy.
    Yes we cannot call it roti ( the normal type made with drier dough).Cooking is all about experimentation as our ancients have done with the fundamental principles of Health for Body that has direct effect on the Mind.This included the principles of Taste too.Each one has the freedom to cook as one likes.Comments should be constructive and not targeted at anyone to hurt personal sentiments.l did try this out and as many have said it takes a longer time but if someone is living alone and has to just cook for one this saves kneading etc.So enjoy cooking ,eating good wholesome food resulting in good positive thoughts for one and all!🙏🏻

    Comes out tasty but time consuming... Original roti making process is much much more easier n tasty
