"ideally the police would get a warrant"
Ideally, police wouldn't extrajudicially execute people, but here we are

    They say
" this might be used against abortion clinics "
    When they really mean
" we used this to figure out everyone who was at a protest"

Hence the reason my Location is turned on ONLY when using my GPS (NOT Google maps, which asks for permissions they simply do not need), I turn off all geolocation, picture tagging, and anything that can attach to a file that shows the location where it was taken or used.
Remember to clear the cache and memory daily to wipe out any record of where you were or what you were doing while Location was turned on.
Check permissions carefully on any app you use. You'll be shocked at the privacy you're giving up without realizing it. Data mining is big bucks. They're profiting off your personal information.

Some of the new version of mobile phones, do not just have GPS... they also have other countries satelite systems as well.... This is why certain phones can only be bought within certain countries. That is if those stores do their due diligences... but I doubt that very much. Cos each time you buy a phone. Somebody makes the money. And those mobile phones will have embedded softwares. Each install of a software is a fixed price. So this is why phones are expensive. It certainly is in Europe.... This is not including the connection charges... and most phones are not just counting the hardware costs. Also the software costs as well.... This is why it is such a big bulk cost overall.

The people also have the right to be protected by law enforcement. They pay their salaries for protection from criminals. With that law enforcement should take every measure to do so. If this helps to solve a crime or catch a criminal, more power to them...

Consider you have lost any privacy & they read every text message u send & receive. Your ok with that? Because thats what their cell site simulators do. It cannot hone in on 1 targeted person, it hones in on everyone in that area.

The cops and feds are gangstalking and targeting innocent people by abusing these apps, they even paying people to break into houses, poison homes and cars, sabotage peoples jobs, etc... this is highly illegal activity against citizens. Don't let them get away with these heinous acts against people.
