I found an easy solution. Go to the headunit and change the value :CID_DISPLAY_RES to wert05, 1920x720. No additional changes required. Some Animations now Look funky. But the important parts are working.

Sorry m8. I havent had any time for this. But the thing is you need a screen with fdv 1.5 and not 1.6 as i have. This is the only solution to get it to work.

I don't have my screen yet, but I try to do the same. Try changing the following parameters: - CID_DISPLAY_RES: 1440_540 [03] - CID_DISPLAY_SIZE: 10_25 [04] - CID_DISP_AR: RATIO_1_00 [0F]
@@aliabid9865 When you open the map, it isn't always displayed in fullscreen. Then you have to toggle the iDriveController to the right and to the left - then everything resizes properly. And in the mappreview (when you look at the 3 live tiles), there is a small blurry bar on the lower end of the map). That's it. Everything else works flawlessly.

Ich habe das selbe Problem (g30 2017), mein Codierer sagt ich habe id5 drauf mit einer id6 Oberfläche, deswegen geht's nicht.
Only id6 is woorking with this Mgu screen. id5 is not working at all

I managed to get it running.
In the ECU Head Unit you just have to change CID_DISPLAY_RES: to [WERT 05] 1920.
