    All the New Year holidays I've been playing CP 2077 (4k, optimised settings, RT Ultra, DLSS Balance/sometimes Performance), and enjoyed very much. With all these new crazy technologies we forgot that you can enjoy the game in 40-50fps too. I'am happy with this card and going to stick to it couple more years.

      I doubt that playing at any FPS below stable 60 is any pleasant. I prefer to lower the graphics settings to have smooth gameplay.

      @@thiirane4279 If you grew up in the 80s, 90s, or early 2000s, you didn't get even close to 60 for a long time! Lock at 40-50 if you must or lower the settings a bit and lock at 60 is fine for us old-timers 👴😁

    I got my Rtx 3080 last year just before Christmas as i got it on sale i paid £609 for it in the uk, i'm at 1440p 144hz and blasts through games so nice, i have it paired with an intel i7 12700k. It's such a sollid card, it will easy see through the next couple of gen cards so ill most probably upgrade at RTX 5000 but most probably i'll upgrade when the RTX 6000 series comes out

    Hey everyone, some advice if you'd be so kind.
    Currently, I have a 2080 ti, and I'm looking to upgrade ideally on a budget. And I keep seeing the 3080. Is it worth it? Or should I hold on?
    I run all my games at 4K, but with the more modern stuff I am having to overclock to reach 60fps in high to very high settings. Any advice is appreciated ❤

    • @OutlawBenchmarks
      @OutlawBenchmarks  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hey, good question. I would personally hang onto the 2080ti until the 50 series drops, unless you find a 3080 or better with a big discount.
      May need to drop settings or resolution in some games, but the 2080ti is still a great card!

    before nobody cared about 4k gaming because of how expensive 4k panels were... now people do not care for 4k gaming because of how expensive 4k gpus are lol. i kind of want to see 1440p tvs become a thing (or large tv size 1440p monitors) and for 1080 panels to make a comeback (the way the gpu market is going lol). like 1080p and 1440p panels are going to make a small comeback on the simple principal that gpus are getting so stupid expensive. the way things are going i wish they did kind of innovate the 1080p and 1440p panel market a bit. like some 43 inch high refresh rate 1440p qled monitors with a 1 millisecond response time with gsync (or the same thing but 1080p). i do not see how people still like playing on a 32 inch monitor (or god forbid a 28 inch or smaller panel)... when a 43 inch monitor is so much better in my opinion. i do not understand people that like to have a small screen for gaming lol. it makes literally no sense to me. i get that some "try hards" like to have the screen small so that they can pan their eyes from the mini map to the main screen but that reason seems so negligible... like it takes milliseconds to look one way and then the other... are you really saving that much time by having a smaller screen lol? its so much faster to look at your mini map and then back to the center of the panel with a small screen? that is most peoples reasoning behind it? seems stupid as shit to me. it seems like it would just strain your eyes more and be bad for your vision in the long term. i get why someone might buy a smaller panel because of financial reasons but when you see these super wealthy people with tiny little 30 inch monitors it makes no fucking sense to me. lol its like why are you purposely making your set up shitty by getting tiny monitors?

    Why people still follow the fad of showing games in max settings is odd
    For like 8 years now its been known and its even vids and on forums showing and saying the setting right below max doesnt look much different and runs more fps
    I mean no disrespect but using max settings doesnt give people a real look at the fps they really would get, as i said the real max setting that shows a big jump from medium is high

      I would definitely upgrade to 32gb I have TLOU using over 20gb ram when I only had one chrome tab open lol, and used up all 32 and crashed my desktop when I had more than two open, that is a unoptimized game but even other games like Returnal reccommend 32 which can help reduce stuttering.
