  • In this video I would like to share with you my honest owner review of Ford Mustang Ecoboost Premium 2015. I will cover my overall experience with buying and owning Ford Mustang 2.3, mods that I did to this car (including Roush CAI and Cobb), problems and "Check Engines" that I had with this car (including Fuel Pressure Sensor, EVAP and actuator) and how it drives now! Is 4 cylinder Ford Mustang better than Ford Mustang GT 5.0, or is it just an Ecoboom?

    Nice car. You make sense saying it's more practical to have an ecoboost than a GT if it's your only car and daily driver. For me I like the sound of the V8 engine. I have a 08 Bullitt but it's my weekend warrior and not a daily driver. I'm also impressed to see one in the Ukraine. Mustangs sure get around. Oh and hello from Canada 🙂

    I own a 2020 Eco Premium. Averaging 26-27 miles per gallon on mainly freeway driving at 80-85 MPH on cruise control. Plenty of power for me. I'm always impressed at quickly it responds when i step on the gas and how it handles the curves getting on and off the freeway. I considered a GT but it would have been a near base model and my commute to work is 35 miles each way so gas would have been an issue. Maintenance is also a big key. With the turbo, the oil needs to be changed every 5000 miles max with premium synthetic oil. Yes, the trunk was also surprisingly big for a coupe. Mine has 13,000 miles and so far no problems or trips to the dealer for repair.

    • @4bunin
      @4bunin  Год назад +1

      I'm not sure if you have a Cobb for your Mustang. If not, get it and set it to Stage 1. The pedal response will change dramatically! I'm not sure GT is really for commuting, mostly because of the sound. However, it's not that bad in terms of MPG as everyone thinks. Depends on your driving style of course :)

      Hello, fellow 2020 Ecoboost premium owner. Sounds like we had the same experience, I went out expecting to buy a GT but it was April 2021 and the dealer had two 2020s on the lot, significantly discounted. One was silver, the color I wanted, and had a few options including adaptive exhaust, and I like the look of the four pipes. It’s a great daily driver, and I also just hit 12K miles. I’ve taken it on a few 600 mile round-trip through the Texas hill country and on the back roads averaging 80 mph it gave me about 29 MPG. I’m considering the Ford performance tune because I don’t think it voids the warranty. I hope you’re enjoying your Pony! What color is it?

    The biggest problem I have with mine is that it's almost impossible to tell where the front end is when parking. Other than that I'm very happy with it.

    Ford should've stuck with the V6 and even a V6 eco boost. Have no idea why they came off the V6 Cyclone as they're getting very rare and one of the best engines ever made for Mustang! Many mods for V6 that really improve performance and gas efficiency. Great video.

    • @ST_DCT
      @ST_DCT Год назад +3

      They wanted to sell GTs, the V6 option with slight mods will give comparable performance, Ford is not about pleasing us as consumers, it's about the almighty dollar, they wanted definitive tier levels and they achieved that. They know what they have and they know what will sell.

Do you see many other Ponies as you drive around Europe? I wonder how many are over there. I’ve seen videos of Mustangs in Germany and Italy. I know summer made for the European market because the language display is different. Your English is perfect, so an American Mustang seems fine for you.

    If you wanna learn how to drive a potent car get the eco! The eco is fast! Sounds nice! Looks amazing. And is cheap to drive and maintain!

As an American, people who like different sporty cars have different tastes....you may be someone who likes small and nimble, so you would look at Mazda Miata, Toyora MR2, Honda S2000, maybe Porsche Cayman or the like....then you have other stuff...and of the other stuff one is people who like Muscle/Pony cars....there are many people who cross shop the Ford Mustang with the Chevrolet Camaro, and even the Dodge Challenger. There are also people who like all of the types of sporty cars....I can speak from experience, even though I am only 28 I have had 2 Mustangs, a Camaro, a Miata, a MR2 Spyder, a 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix...and even a truck.

    5:11 You didn't buy a Mustang if you bought an automatic....just saying.... automatics should be banned for sports/muscle cars.

      Yeah, I fully agree with that now. At the time it was my first daily car and traffic in Kyiv is crazy, so I was really happy not to play with the clutch on every traffic lights.

      Gatekeepers are the most insufferable "it's not mustang unless it's____" WHO CARES. It's a mustang if it has the body style of it, that's ALL you can ever argue.

    Jesus those ecboosts sound so awful no matter what you do to them. Should have left it stock.. that sounds like one of those little pos hatchback cars with the big farting mufflers. The engine is too little, why bother.

    I love mustang, it looks so cool. And echoboost is absolutely better daily car than gt, I mean how fast can I drive even on highway 😂 I don’t want to be pulled over. But I heard a lot about mustang will have a lot of problems with it, maybe over 50k miles? Do you have this issue?
