- I try P&S BEAD MAKER paint protectant for the first time! #GAMECHANGER. While I was visiting The Rag Company headquarters a few months ago, I was able to test a spray-on paint sealant from P&S called Bead Maker. I blew my mind! You'll see why in this video!

Bead Maker’s unique formulation allows for quick spray application. This time saving product uses binding polymer monomer technology to produce a water beading, brilliant, long lasting finish. Bead Maker may be applied to wet or dry vehicles and is safe to spray on all exterior surfaces. Bead Maker also includes UV protection.
What makes Bead Maker different is the surface migrating molecule that attaches to the paint surface of a vehicle. Once attached this molecule cross-links and polymerizes on the surface thus building a hydrophobic durable layer of protection. Cure time is essentially two hours depending upon ambient conditions. For optimal results, let the product cure for 8 hours. Real world durability is 1 to 3 months of protection.
APPLICATION: For the first application, mist the product thoroughly on the surface until it beads, then wipe using a microfiber towel, flip the towel, and buff to a bright finish. In more humid environments, apply less product on the paint, and more on the microfiber towel. During maintenance washes, you’ll then be able to use Bead Maker as a drying aid, misting just a couple sprays per panel and wiping using your microfiber drying towel.

My detail guy put me onto this stuff a couple months ago. It’s honestly amazing, better than anything I’ve ever used. I washed Truck last week and applied another coat of bead maker after the wash. My Truck got covered in heavy dust over the last several days, today it rained and not a single spec of dust or dirt was able to stick to my
vehicle.
I use Bead Maker as a topper to Jet Seal and Butter Wet Wax. I use it as my drying aid on every wash and the results are UNBELIEVABLE. My wife even noticed the feel of the paint when she touched the door handle and she has no idea about this kind of stuff. It performs so well in the weather too. Water just sitting on top in huge globules.
good to hear, I use the jet seal and butter wet wax also
sweet... I use the butter wet wax too and my intention was to do just you say... butter wet wax than use the bead maker as a topper.. can't wait to try it..
9:50 ...best Pan reaction ever and that's all I needed to get some :)
😂😂👍🏻.
I've used this for a few months. I put it on my mother's car which sits outside and is generally neglected. It's still beading up 2 months later. I love it!
I love it too!
What would you recommend to do before all this ? U think me giving a good wash , than clay bar than this ?
I look forward to trying this. I love the genuine excitement from Pan when he finds a new tool for his arsenal!
😄👍🏻
I think what made this video even more entertaining was watching Pan freak out. Anyone who has been in the business for as long as he has, to still get just right jacked up excited about a product.... clearly still loves his job. Thanks Pan for keeping the rest of us excited about products for our cars.
Hehe thanks man! Yeah even though this video was filmed many years ago now, I still remember my reaction. Back in those days, it really was a game changer for surface slickness. Many have caught up since then, but it still has its place on my shelves.
And yes, even after 26 years of detailing, it's still one of my biggest life passions. I love it! :) And I try to share that passion and knowledge with my audience, which is quickly approaching 1 million subscribers, easily putting my channel in the top three biggest detailing channels on RUclips. I am grateful to have such a great audience!
I am a mechanic and I have some nice tool box's / carts they are powdered coated my box is snap-on my cart is mac. I used supper clean to clean all grease and smudges off. I followed up with dupli colors wax and tar remover. I then applyed bead maker.
Wow no matter what cemicals or grease is on my hands take a clean microfiber and it just wipes away with no effort!! I'm no expert I know it wont last for ever on my tool boxes I will have to reaply like any thing out there .... I love useing this as a drying aid on both of my cars there is no fake hype here this stuff is game changeing! Thank you P&S and thank you PAN! keep ths great videos comeing!!!
Thanks for your feedback and kind words!! 👍🏻
As soon as I saw PAN's reaction, I paused the video and order the pint and the gallon. Can't wait for tomorrow's video!!
Much Love Pan. So glad I found your channel. Literally my Hero.
Hehe thanks for your support!
Next video coming live at 1 pm Eastern time. :)
He is my idol too
Thanks guys!
Bead Maker is a winner, great results, minimal effort, user friendly, super gloss, glass like smooth finish.
I use & love the Bead maker. Fun watching Pan calling this a game changer, it really is. Try it, well worth it.
Thanks Chuck!
Ok, Pan your reaction blew my mind and I haven’t even seen this product first hand. I am totally sold on this product. I’ve been using Mequiar’s synthetic X-press spray wax, but you’ve convinced me to give P & S Bead Maker a try. Great video Pan. Thanks. 🇨🇦👍
And there is now a little DIY mix of Bead Maker and another product to take it to another level. See my video here: ruclips.net/video/twuTd2VNlxw/видео.html
You said it right Pan. We love value oriented products! I'm definitely feeling this product!
I just bought a gallon I live in Toronto Ontario because of this video I will test it out and I have a feeling my mind is going to be blown away I will let you know on the results later on.

Pan TheOrganizer Hi pan! Is Bead maker available in the uk as I would like to try it out ? 🤔😁 thanks!
Do an update the dirt repellency compared to wax, sealant and coating products.
Unfortunately this doesn’t seem to be available to Canadians with those links.
Just looked on Amazon UK.. no joy.
This stuff is my drying aid for every wash. Have to agree it is a game changer!!
I made a more recent video about my top drying aids here: ruclips.net/video/NOTNed04xYE/видео.html
Pan-Thank you for all the excellent videos. This is my favorite channel packed with awesome content, tips and techniques. Beadmaker is some crazy awesome stuff. Keep up the great work sir!
I mentioned it earlier but I just finished applying bead maker on my SUV. Keep in mind that my SUV has approximately four separate ceramic Coatings and have been clayed and d-CON washed. You were right pan, I've never seen that slickness or gloss like this in my life!!! It's insane!!! Can't wait to look in the garage tomorrow morning LOL
👍🏻👍🏻
LOL... I love this video! I had the same reaction when I tried it the first time!! good stuff!! grab some!
Pan, Thx for doing these videos and being so positive.
Thanks! It’s important to me that my viewers feel happy after watching my videos. There’s enough negativity as is online. :)
Great video Pan! You mentioned P&S Bead Maker can be used as a drying agent to help prolong the beading effects. After 1-3 months does one need to apply another initial thick coat or will continuous spray when drying be enough? Thanks.
Continuous maintenance will be enough. I use it as a drying aid now.
Make sure you come back Sunday to watch my full review and tutorial video on it!
Nice Pan. I love how the water beaded off of the paint so smoothly.
Yes the product carries its name Bead Maker quite well! ;)
Best video ever!!! Most genuine reaction I've ever seen. Pan you're the man!
I also love the Rag Company guys!
Glad you enjoyed. How did you discover my channel Jon?
@@PanTheOrganizer Years ago searching RUclips for the best wax and other auto detailing products. Stumbled across your video and subscribed right away. I can always count on you for "No BS" reviews and the best tips and tricks.
Wow...this product looks very promising. I just ordered a gallon from Amazon. Thanks for the great information about this stuff. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Stephen! Let me know how you like it.
I really hope this product will be available in Europe soon. When Pan get that hallelujah moment, you know the product is awesome 😄
Heheeh thanks for the cool comment! Thanks for the trust you have in my opinon Mr Wang! ;)
Pan TheOrganizer you are very honest and with a professional approach sharing your knowledge. The best detailing channel on RUclips!
😉👍🏻
Thank you so much for all the great info and the quick response. Keep up the great work
Thanks!
Great video, I’ve been amazed by bead maker, one thing I’ve noticed is how easily snow brushes off so there is an advantage for us Canadians
I agree Sean! With this week’s first major snowfall in Montreal, it worked great!

I've gotten several vids behind with work and holidays upon us.
Just want to say, THANK YOU!

Oh thanks for the wishes! Happy holidays to you and your loved ones as well! And thanks for your support James! 👍🏻
Just bought my first bottle to try. Thank you!!!!
🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Pan the detailing idol! I tried this last week for the first time. I was impressed as well! Its the real deal.
Thanks Ramon!
Have been using for about 7 months. I love it and 3 of my friends even bought it after seeing results, great product for the money. The whole car justs glows and makes washing a lot easier. I buy it from auto geek when they have their 25% off sales. Have not seen it for sale in Canada yet. 👍
I agree, it’s such a great product. It sets the bar high for anything else I’ll stack up against it in the spray-on paint protectants category.
Did a ton of research looking for a good sealant for my garage kept 2018 Mustang GT. Kept coming back to this. Applied it today, and wow are the initial impressions amazing! I'm interested to see how it lasts during these winter months. I think this was the last day in the 60s here for a while.
You should reapply a think layer every two months. I apply some every 2nd or 3rd wash. That’s how much I like it! :)
Love the reaction Pan! It looks like a great product. Can't wait to try. I hope TheRagCompanyEurope will soon have it in there shop!!!
Thanks! Come back tomorrow to watch my full review and tutorial video!
Just tried out Bead Maker this morning... it lives up to the hype. Fascinating stuff.
Yup!!
Did you use it as a stand-alone product on bare paint, or as a topper on top of a wax/sealant/coating?
@@PanTheOrganizer I had waxed and sealed it about six weeks ago, so it wasn't bare nor freshly done. Essentially a topper on my 2017 Accord.
Pan you best believe i got a gallon of this stuff coming Friday. This as a topper on my fusso coat is going to be unreal!
Enjoy! And you can further improve it. See my video here: ruclips.net/video/twuTd2VNlxw/видео.html
I just ordered the gallon, pint and towels kit. Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for the recommendation Pan. Still catching up on all your videos.

Hai Pan, again nice n informative video. I am eagerly waiting for your next detailed informative video. You are a true and transparent RUclips I have ever seen hence I like your videos.
I leanerned a lot from your videos and maintaining my car in top notch look.
Keep educating us.
Thanks Shaukat! I appreciate the kind words and your support!
Stay tuned for my follow-up video later today. Full tutorial and review of Bead Maker!
Ya, I got this stuff for my car. I had it pro detailed the last 2 years in a row except for this year. I figure this could help me maintain it and I love it!
Yup!
is water beading good? seems like it would be a tiny little hyper focused magnifying glass for the sun?? please inform me, im so ignorant on this subject
You guys mentioned about cure time but what happens if you don’t have a covered area for curing and what is a responsible cure time if vehicle is out in the open?
This product has got my attention 💯
As long as you don't expose it to water or rain for the first critical 2 hours you should be fine. 8 hours is the optimal time, but after 2 hours you should get a great part of the curing done.
So glad you got to visit my neck of the woods Pan. The LADS (Levi, Anthony and Dane) are great bunch of guys! I got the pleasure of touring their media facility in early June while visiting the area for my fiancee's birthday. Got to meet them at the Hidden Springs car show along with Sydni and Bob from P&S. When TRC is on your destination checklist again, I'd definitely love to meet you because I am literally just seven hours to the north! I've been using Bead Maker for over a year and still can't believe the instant slickness so I can relate to your excitement.
Cool!
Hahaha. He’s litterally just 7 hours to the north! As if 7 hours is like a 5 minute bike ride!! Ya muppet.
I just ordered & can’t wait to try, thanks as always love yeah Pan !!!
Who are the 34 people who disliked this video, what is wrong with them?
Lol welcome to the internet. Some haters just like to hate.
I've been using it for over a month now and its perfect. I'm buying another gallon next week and it's now a staple for my detailing.
Our hobby/passion is literally at the point where we now have basically "glass in a bottle "type spray detailers!😲Order coming soon!!
Yup!!
i'm just laughing and happy seeing you so excited!! never seen you that excited even after getting the new car. you've also asked a question I wanted to know which is awesome and I will definitely apply this product to my wash. the question was if it can be used with out any special coating. looking forward to seeing a video of you using it on your car and others :D
Oh yeah! 👍🏻. Tomorrow you will see my full review and tutorial video! Stay tuned.
Pan, I know it was said that this can be applied over ceramic, but are there any issues putting this on top of “reload”? Been using “reload” on ceramic, but wonder how this reacts on top of it.
Looks good, but what type of soap can be used between coats? Plan to put on my auto, hope it lasts at least 6 months (atto garaged) but will need to wash auto between the 6 months.
i hope it will be available in europe soon, thank you pan for this video
I've been using it for about 6 months, I am not impressed. It is very slick and glossy, but I drove through a rain storm and washed my truck the next day and all of the slickness and gloss was gone especially the hydrophobic properties. The road grime also seemed to be harder to wash of the surface of the paint as well. I have applied it to several vehicles with the same results. Not trying to bash the product just giving my opinion. I had high hopes for BeadMaker.
Hmm. That's about the opposite from my experience. My truck is much easier to keep clean with beadmaker. I can get it about 90% clean with just foam cannon and rinsing
@@Daviddear30 Maybe my prep wasn't quite right and I have spoke with people that have had both good and bad experiences with it. I do really like it on glass though,I have had it on all of my glass for 6 months and it still beads up like a champ! You definitely need to let it cure though.
I wonder if it would have to do with the cure time needed to properly seal the surface?
@@danmorrissette4814 I did the recommended 8 hour cure time,I still have been experimenting with the cure times and the amount of product per panel,so only time will tell. Thats what I love about the detail industry is experimenting with different products and having discussions like this about different products!👍
Durability isn’t its key feature in my opinion. That’s why I have base layers of ceramic coatings for long term durability. And P&S themselves are honest and don’t make ridiculous durability claims. They say it’s good for 30 to 60 days. I find it’s even more when your car is garaged and well maintained like mine.
The main points for me with Bead Maker are versatility (can be applied on top of waxes, sealants and coatings), gloss, hydrophobic properties and the best slickness to the touch.
Full review and tutorial coming on my channel tomorrow, including tips to apply it correctly depending on what conditions you work in.
I had the chance to speak to Dave Philipps directly, the chemist behind the product, so lots of cool info coming.
I just ordered a gallon. I can't wait to use this on my Mustang.
Thanks for watching! Did you see my full review of it? Here: ruclips.net/video/J7uc4AlarpU/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer Yes I did.. Thank you for the great review of this product.
I use Optimum Car Wax - it just works! Bead Maker is very slick but it has the look of a sealant (shiny plastic), not the look of a wax. I guess it is a matter of what one likes.
Exactly. To each their own. OPT Car Wax is very good too!
I use both and I think beadmaker is not as warm as OPT but not as cool as Meguiars Xpress Wax. To me it's a perfect balance looks wise.
I am very impressed :-) Thank you for sharing
Thanks Nick!
Come back on Sunday to watch my full review and tutorial video!

Hi Pan just ordered some cant wait to try question for you can I use this on windows as well the 3m protectant film on my front clip? Thanks for the work you put into bringing us product information and knowledge.
Yes you can use it on pretty much any surface. Stay tuned for my full review and tutorial video Sunday!
Ok Thank you 👍🏻
Hmm, I’ve never tried it myself yet. But maybe I will. However, for a customer car, regardless of the gloss and hydrophobicity, I’d probably have to reach for something else as I would need the 4 to 6 month durability. Definitely would make a nice topper or even a quick sealant though.
Exactly Andy!
So from what I've read the bead maker will help keep and fight dirt and mud from building up on my truck
Any paint protectant will help for sure. The slicker surface and water beading/sheeting properties help with repelling a lot of dirt so it makes for an easier wash. However, I prefer to use Bead Maker as a topper on top of a longer durability paint protection like a ceramic coating. On its own, Bead Maker will only last 30 to 60 days. But its gloss and slickness is second to none.
Quick question: I have ceramic seal on my car. What would you remember to do to prep for bead maker? Clay, IPA spray, or what?
Watch my full Bead Maker review/tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/J7uc4AlarpU/видео.html
Hello. I love your videos. I've watched tons of them I was hoping to ask you a question. I'm looking to use Beadmaker as kind of a final wipe down over a Ceramic coating after a hand wash. Just something to get rid of anything streaks or water marks from drying. Any thoughts on how Beadmaker will affect the hydrophobic and self cleaning properties of the coating? It seems to me that Beadmaker is not quite as hydrophobic as the coating and I'm worried it may mute the hydrophobic properties a bit. Any thoughts on this?
Hi Rich! If you’re worried about changing the hydrophobic properties of your coating, then don’t use Bead Maker. It does alter the hydrophobics. I was using BM as a topper when I had CQuartz UK 3.0 on my car, and I loved it. Unmatched gloss and slickness.
But if your priority is to keep the hydrophobics as they are, I would stick to the silica spray sealant offered by the same brand as your coating.
What ceramic coating do you have?
@@PanTheOrganizer I'm going to be getting CeramicPro. I know they have their CeramicPro Care but it's ridiculously expensive ($60 for 10oz). I use Beadmaker now and I know that it's not quite as hydrophobic on my truck as my Dad's truck that's ceramic coated. I mean if my Dad's truck is a 10 Beadmaker is like an 8 on the hydrophobic scale so it's still really good from what I've seen. Just hate to spend $1000 for Ceramic coating that sheds water like crazy just to mute it. I'd also have to think that it affects the self cleaning properties of the ceramic as well since it's not quite as hydrophobic. Just trying to figure out which way I want to go when I get it coated in July. (Was supposed to get it last week but I got hailed on and it's going to the body shop tomorrow 😢)
@@PanTheOrganizer do you have any recommendations for SiO2 sprays that could be used as a topper or final wipe down spray? I've looked at CarPro reload, hydrosilex recharge, and Adam's Ceramic Boost.
Opti-Coat Hyper Seal is what I use now on top of my Opti-Coat Pro+ coating. Amazing. Here’s a video I made: ruclips.net/video/DxBdWQ2k9Tw/видео.html
Pan do you happen to have a vid talking about the different types of microfiber towels and what their uses can be? I can find it somewhat confusing trying to find out which types are good for glass, or interior, or exterior, polish removal etc. love your vids!
Oh yes Taylor, I do! I did a great 6 part series of videos to demystify everything about microfiber towels with experts from The Rag Company.
You’ll learn everything you need to know in this fun series!
Check out part 1 here: ruclips.net/video/6dy5PbjT1Cw/видео.html
Hi pan, I applied beadmaker on my Bonnet and there's marks will they go away when fully cured. I also have smear marks. Cheers Julian
You probably applied too much. Were you working in direct sunlight?
I got my quart size of Bead Maker and immediately put a coat on my black 2000 Prowler. I applied it to the dry paint and followed the directions. When I finished the first coat, I went inside and never came back out to the garage until the next morning (after about 11 hours)...I simply could not believe what that paint looked like. It was so shiny, glossy and deep, that I was amazed. I know my paint, and I know how it looks...and this product made the paint look fantastic. I figured, if one coat was good...two will be better, so I put a second coat on the car and walked away again. If there is a better sealant that produces a better slickness and shine than Bead Maker, tell me what it is..until then, I just ordered 2 gallons, because I do not want to be without this product.
Thanks for sharing! Bead Maker is still the king of gloss and slickness in my books. But there is a lot of competition in the spray protectants category. Of of my new favourites for durability and chemical resistance is the Turtle Wax ICE Seal N Shine which I reviewed here: ruclips.net/video/dn6xBGkBFcU/видео.html
Thank you Pan for sharing this gem.
Thanks Igor!
This stuff is the real deal Pan. I put Jescar Powerlock plus with Collinite 845 combo in May on my Mazda CX-5. Then found out about this stuff and had to try it and did. And late august i put some of this on my Mazda was blown away did a through wash lite decontamination and put this on water hates my car lol.
I agree Ernest. It’s the real deal!
Hi pan can you answer me this when I have ceramic coated my car when I wash it later in month or so can I quick detail my car or is this a waste of time thanks keep up the good work bud
Great, but have you done a review on the Meguiars ceramic spray wax? Trying to get an idea to go with
I have a 16oz bottle of it. It’s a good product. When this bottle runs out I’ll buy another. But, I don’t think it’s a game changer by any means. It’s slick yes, the water behavior is ok with it. I’d much rather use Reload or IGL Premier. I do think a lot of it is hype in my opinion. Plus the durability is nothing to get excited about. For me it lasted a little over a month. That’s wax like durability. I just don’t see the craze like everyone else sees.
I use Beadmaker with 476s best combo ever.....get that deep wet look with added gloss.
I have never heard of 476s... Is that the name of the product, or the company?
@@PanTheOrganizer 476s is a Collinite wax, it is carnauba and polymer base, Beadmaker bonds really well with it. If you want ultimate wet look and longevity is not a priority get the Marque D'Elegance which has a higher ratio of carnauba.
Hi PAN. I'm also blown away by the description that you make of this product and will definitely try it out next spring. One question though. Since I'm an Optimum products convert and have in mind to apply Optimum Gloss-Coat next spring, should I not apply the coating and just use that instead? or combine both maybe? Can you please le me know what YOU would do? Thanks! :-)
Go for the coating as a base layer for sure. That gives you durability. You then maintain the coating by applying Bead Maker every couple washes. That’s what I do for my BMW. I have base layers of ceramic coatings and top off with Bead Maker every second or third wash.
Make sure you watch my Bead Maker tutorial video coming later today (1pm Eastern time). ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer I will for sure thanks again :-)
Worked great on my Buick, super slick. On my sons Camero the paint was like sandpaper and it didn't work as well...art
Paint preparation is key to get the paint as smooth as possible before applying any form of paint protection. That's a way to ensure to have the paint cleaned, decontaminated and polished, so it can be as glass smooth as possible before you apply any form of paint protection. The protection will not only perform better, but last way longer.

Pan, you're a stud! I love your reaction. LOL. I absolutely love this product!!!
Thanks Adam!! :). Did you see my special "intro" in my follow-up video review/tutorial?
Here: ruclips.net/video/J7uc4AlarpU/видео.html
@@PanTheOrganizer YES! LOL. I just posted a comment there too.
Wow 😯 mind blown 🤯
Hey Pan excellent video- do I need to paint correct my car prior using it?
From wash to wash what would be the use?
For any paint protection item, it always goes on best on a well prepped surface, but you can also apply it as is and also use it as a drying aid after a maintenance wash.
Come back Sunday to see my full tutorial and review of this product.
Can you use it also as a drying aid? Then it would be perfect.
Mark Van Kalmthout yeah you can
@@KiiKzMedia that's super, do they have resell points in the Dominican Republic?
Yes you can. Come back Sunday to watch my full review and tutorial video!
Thanks Pan! I bought Bead Maker after watching this video and used it on my Porsche. Brings paint color out wonderfully but attracts dust. Has anyone else had that problem?
Just did my wheels that were ceramic coated and holy moly. My tire guy said he was able to mount the tire by hand .. no machine because the wheels were super slick.
👍🏻
bead maker looks good. asked all the right questions with what it can be applied on, in the sunlight or shade, etc. awesome pan. Looking forward to your next video :-)
btw quick question, un-related to this video. If someone wants to apply aquapel on the windows, does it have to washed? or can i just spray invisible spray to clean the windows and then apply it?
Yes come back for my Bead Maker review and tutorial video Sunday.
For your other question, you can just clean the glass with glass cleaner if you want. Just make sure your glass is clean.
Watch my windshield tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/CN-WYF3Nnak/видео.html
not sure about this one, but the problem for those sealant/coating, with the rain, you can't beat the watermark, especially, when you have a dark color paint, like blue, black. even though some products do have great hydrophobic performance, you still have the watermark after the raindrops dried. I'm in the midwest area and the water usually is very hard.
Anyway, thank you for the video.
I find when using toppers like Bead Maker or CarPro Reload, it reduces the chances of water spotting greatly.
@@PanTheOrganizer Okay, good to know. Maybe you could do a test by using hard water on different products and do a comparison. I think it would be an interesting experiment and products review video. Thanks!
the chem guys synthetic detailer is quite slick after use
It gets around 80-88 degrees Fahrenheit with 70-80 humidity here in Hawaii.
Hi Pan
Love ur video but I got a question
Is this product similar to hydrosilex?
Or can it use on top of hydrosilex?
It’s a spray-on paint protectant like Hydrosilex. But Hydrosilex is a ceramic based product and Bead Maker is a paint sealant. Yes you can apply Bead Maker on top of Hydrosilex. You can apply it on top of waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings.
What do P&S consider high humidity? My garage is usually between 40% and 60%. Should that be considered high?
No that’s fine. I have 45% humidity controlled environment.
High hunidity is usually 75% and more.
About 15 minutes in the guy in the back sprays something out of a blue bottle onto a towel and wipes down the panel that was topped with bead maker before you took it out for the water test. What did he spray on?
My bad about 14 minutes in
It's Optimum Paint Prep. It's an IPA solution to remove polishing oils and polish residue.
So Bead Maker or the CarPro "boss gloss" blend from a few months ago, what would you reach for?
Bead Maker. Gloss is similar, but BM is slicker to the touch and comes ready to use out of the bottle. CarPro has released a commercial version of the mix I did, called Elixir, which I haven’t tested yet.
wow 51 seconds im here lol im looking forward to watch what you have for us pan :-)
👍🏻👍🏻😎
Can I just use this every wash as a drying aid or after wash quick detailer?
Oh yes! Check out my full tutorial and review video coming out tomorrow! Stay tuned!!
Great video Pan! Would love to see a comparison between this and meguairs UFF, I’m a huge fan of UFF. Would be fun to see them paired together as they’re at roughly the same price point
UFF would last longer. BM will give you more gloss and paint slickness.
Here you can see them side by side in a torture test
ruclips.net/video/LD8fyexP-M8/видео.html
Very similar to Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer which I am using at the moment. Except this may have a bit more of a slicker feel.
love this product..ended up getting 3 gallons when it was on sale..
👍🏻👍🏻😎
I currently use ammo reflex and ammo skin on my jeep and I dry with ammo hydrate. Do you recommend using this as a drying aid more than hydrate with my given circumstance?
Bead Maker will certainly add way more gloss and slickness for sure.
Pan, I just ordered a gallon of this based on your results and opinion.
It doesn’t last long (3-4 weeks) but gloss and slickness are what we use it for. It can be applied on top of any paint protection. Even years after this video, Bead Maker is still a great topper.
Hi Pan, love your passion for detailing and your channel. My routine between major washes is to do weekly rinseless wash with Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax (using Garry Dean method). And now after ONR I applied the Bead Maker for the first time. Quite liberally (400 ml in one go). Question: Would ONR remove the Bead Maker layer every time I wash with it? Or would BM still be there and I can just top it up with a couple of squirts per panel after the ONR wash?
Thanks for the kind words!
No worries, Bead Maker will still be there. You can just spritz a light coat of Bead Maker once you dry your car and that's it! :)
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan for quick reply and for the advice. Good to hear I don't have to splash so much of BM every time! Will be ordering 1 gallon of BM now, I love it! I only subscribed recently to your channel but learnt so much already. Planning to watch all your videos from day one (except for the French ones, je ne comprends pas, ha ha :)

@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for the welcome Pan, really appreciate it. My car is 335i and I am already known in the office as car wash nut :). Great to know there are many people like me who enjoy taking care of their cars and find detailing really mind soothing. I must say the latest technologies like ONR and BM make life much easier. With my new weekly routine I am no longer having panic attacks when it rains :) I know it can all be fixed quite easily!
If you use Bead Maker and take the care through a car wash that sprays on waxes, that will be on top of the Bead Maker, will this effect the Bead Makers properties in any way ? Thanks.
Yes. Any product you put on top of another affects the performance of the initial product, as you're taking on what ever properties of the topper. So if I put a wax on top of Bead Maker, the hydrophobic effects I'll see will be those of the wax.
You want to top Bead Maker with just more Bead Maker every 2nd or 3rd wash (or as often as you wish).
Hi Pan while I think your videos are AWESOME, the products while they are amazing mean little here in Australia as we cannot source them and are extremely expensive to purchase and postage is horrendous. Appreciate the tips though, extremely useful for a novice, and building resources available down this way for maintaining car.
Thanks for the feedback!
The new AUS distributor for TRC will actually be carrying Bead Maker very soon (if they haven’t already started)
I'd like to see a 50/50 with sonax spray and seal. Not available in the UK, it'd need to be cheap if it was.
Did you watch my Sonax video? ruclips.net/video/FpgDRSGenWQ/видео.html
Hi Pan, another great video. I felt your energy. I’m sold on the value prop. At what stage do I apply bead maker? Before Wax or After?
After wax. Or you can use it as a stand alone product on bare paint.
Come back Sunday to watch my full review and tutorial video on Bead Maker! :)
Come back Sunday? Shhiiitt you don’t to tell me twice. Ill be tuning in as soon as I get the notification.
😎👍🏻
Pan, Thanks for the great video. Love your reaction :). I have one question, when you apply beadmaker on top of ceramic coating, how long does it last? How often do you reapply beadmaker on a ceramic coated car? Thanks in advance for your answer :)
Lets say I wash my car every other week.
You can use it as a drying aid every time you wash your car if you want. Light applications.
WOW tho just seeing your reaction to this product it speaks for itself
😎
okay i just did a clean clay bar then polish and wax on my truck do i need to use the IPA to remove top layer before applying or just wash my truck dry then apply as shows. i heard them say i can apply on wax i'm just asking you specifically
You can just spray this on top of your existing wax.
