I want to credit this comment with finally giving me the kick in the pants required to manually time-stamp all of my videos. I never realized just how bad the automated chapters were. Time stamps have been added. Thank you my guy. 🤝
I got that Vaydeer media controller and it's a bit wonky, in the sense that every few clicks of the wheel, the volume will jump back. I wrote them and they sent me a new unit, and this had the same problem but to a lesser extent. So right now it's working for me but I'm still on the lookout for something better.
all of these are incredibly necessary and they all deserve their space planted on, taped under, or hanging close to the ceiling above any desk!! (there's a yt channel that runs an old school weather channel feed that i like to tune in to for the forecast and vibes.... that weather gadget is real funky, but i get it.)
There is something to these weather gadgets. I’m always contemplating building some personal weather station with a raspberry pi. Not sure why but I just think they’re cool.
For about 3 years I've been happily using that Vaydeer volume controller, though I did replace the volume knob for a slightly bigger one without an indexing notch, as it has infinite turning.
I've been thinking about getting a weather station setup. It seems like a fun bit of tech and provides some interesting data. Many of the displays, like that one, look so cool, too.
I have the Vaydeer multi media controller as well, and I love it. More than that though, I have TWO Vaydeer macropads and I love them more! I use them for coding and regular Windows "stuff".
I love your keyboard. I've been wanting to get something similar for a while. My personal favorite desk/office item is my HomeFi hotspot. It's made remote work go so much smoother, especially when I'm traveling or don't want to use insecure public networks. Thanks for the video!
I have a Vaydeer media controller - very nice but had to put black tape on a LED, too distracting. I’ve tried a macropad before but realized that media control is my only use case for it.
Man , I just got recommended your vid and I have to say You and I have similar taste and style in terms of tech and geekiness. All products featured are not useful to me , but I just loved the aesthetic and theme ❤
I love your videos so much, I love the aesthetic of your setup and the vibe Do you have some tips regarding lighting in your workspace, it looks so good?! 💯❤️
LinkBuds gen 1 represent! I want to like these so much as they are really helpful for using outdoors when I want to hear my environment but also listen to music / podcasts without any artificial transparency mode. However, the battery has basically failed after 1 year and the mic is terrible with noise rejection, so I can’t take calls with this outside. I still use them from time to time but the battery barely lasts an hour now :/ Haven’t seen them in any video outside of the reviews when it came out.
Hey man! I wanted to ask how did you mount your webcam on the monitor light bar? I've been struggling to find a solution mounting my insta360 link. I haven't bought a monitor light bar yet because I want to choose something that allows me to mount it securely
The Aranet sensor is fantastic. If there is a single gadget in this list that everyone should buy, it’s the Aranet v4. 100 years from now people are going to look back at us like cave dwellers who lacked the intelligence to monitor the quality of their indoor air. I’ve learned a huge amount about indoor air quality thanks to that device. To be pedantic though, monitoring indoor air quality benefits your brain, not your lungs. High CO2 levels affect how your brain feels and functions. Your lungs won’t notice a difference when CO2 gets high. Instead, your lungs care about particulate matter. If you think the Aranet v4 is neat, check out the Qingping Air Quality monitor. It’s beautiful and feels like an iPhone 4, but it exclusively monitors indoor air quality. While it’s not portable like the Aranet v4, the Qingping is internet connected and doesn’t require a direct connection with your phone to view historical data. While my Aranet v4 is collecting dust on a shelf at home, I have multiple Qingping devices which I view every day.
I've spent so much money because of you...most of it have been great investments!!! I even "won" an ebay auction from someone I could've sworn bought everything you've ever featured in your videos. I got two different NuPhy boards and a few different macro pads...I asked him if he was you and there was no response. Some people...am I right?
Whoa that is a crazy coincidence, but somehow nope! I’ve never eBay’d anything I’ve featured on the channel. In fact my storage closet in the office is becoming an absolute disaster lol.
Great video, I really appreciate that the products you feature tend to be genuinely unique from most of the other creators I see on the platform. As an aside, if you are able to, please update your videos featuring the Spotify Car Thing in some way to reflect that the device is being bricked by Spotify this december. Your coverage of the product gives it a great review, but as it is soon to become purely e-waste I hope you can help warn users away from it.
I can not understand why someone would've have a full size keyboards for the office yet had shortcut device😂...one of his shortcut keys is likely print screen for crying out loud.
Haha, the truth is the office is in the basement far from the noise, and the videos get filmed during school days. Weekends in here are typically a disaster lol.
I work with Microsoft Office products all day long, mainly Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel, in an enterprise environment. I could not survive without a full size keyboard, with real Home, End, Page Up and Page Down keys, a numeric keypad, and Function keys. I don't get these tiny keyboards you are using.
add some timestamps my guy

The spaceship themed keyboard is so cool
Love em. It's important to have a bit of fun with your desk setup. There are so many RUclipsrs who take it hyper seriously.
What's the black and white (e-ink) small display under one of your monitors? I looked like the size of and ipad-mini.
@ 0:32
I think the Boox Palma or a Hisense phone.
Looks really nice, but way to expensive to serve just as a clock.
It's basically an e-ink smartphone ^^
The triple slot pad is so fire.

@@Rad-Tech2020 there is certainly something to it. The eink weather display is an interesting niche.
My favourite channel in the “desk setup/accessories” space - precisely because you go off the beaten path!

That co2 monitor is a bit out there, but I definitely want a media controller like that.

Let's go, hyped for the desk mat! Thanks Guy!

I like the desk mat. Design looks so clean, and not cluttered.
If that mat was sized for a trackpad, 104, and a mouse, it'd be mine.
this is a great video, thanks!
Lol that camera setup is dope af

This was absolutely amazing! Gotta love the approach. I'd use all of it!

excited for the rest of the video!

Definitely chaos…but the gadgets are interesting. Do you. 😂👍❤️

I have a cinderblock under my desk as a foot rest... I am buying some Soft Trucks 😀
where do you get your wallpapers ?

I know you have the Spotify Car Thing, curious what you'll do with it now that they're going to brick it by end of year. Will you jailbreak it?
This is the first time I have felt the urge to buy a creators deskmat. What are the measurements?

I almost always want to pick up something from videos. But sadly I’d never have a use for most of it, 😂
the printed pad looks awesome... but it needs a knob at the far left for me to pull the trigger!
I love the idea of a knob too but just to be clear the printed pad I believe was made by two guys
How does one quality as being a 'professional' finger drummer ?
Any chance for a bitt101 keyboard review? it looks wild
Carthing and playdate got booted?
I've discovered this channel and my wallet will now hate me. 10/10
5:54 whats that thing on the right
I feel you could get really into 3D Printing
Men love to collect their gadgets and gizmos
That camera is a rebranded Logi PTZ

After watching most of your videos, I'm guessing you don't have kids? Not saying you should, but it makes sense how you can keep everything so clean.
Haha, the truth is the office is in the basement far from the noise, and the videos get filmed during school days. Weekends in here are typically a disaster lol.
@WorkFromHype gotcha. I appreciate you sharing that. Sometimes we think you guys are perfect with keeping everything perfectly clean 😂
