That was some pretty cool chord changes. A well oiled machine. And a fine guitar I might add.
Great to see you Nick. More please, your knowledge and skills need to be aired more.
Excellent job 👏 👍 👌
and this guitar 🎸 really rings out...got that mojo going on ...something about that old wood 👍✌💯💰
Nick is a master
Right on Jen, that sounded beautiful. Thanks Nick.
Wow that's a beautiful Jumbo with a full sound...
I love how on the older acoustics the pick guard starts to almost sink or meld into the top.
The problem with that aging is it can crack the top.
That thing sure does project sound well. Nice!
A beautiful guitar in every aspect.
Nice to see someone new
thank you Nick!
Nice one Nick What a cool Guitar Cheers From Australia
Well done nick. One of the lesser known pre war gibsons, what a cool burst very iconic of this era. Nick you always play these complicated jazz changes off the top of your head, and this guitar has such a bloom in its tone. This guitar is a sleeper compared to the prices of 41 to 45, and how cool a burst. We spoke on the phone once nick about a my channel/ a t shirt etc... sending you all best wishes from over the pond in UK to norm and all the norms team. Have you heard my new song about norms? Take care - the Cat (channel)
Nice demo nick.just saying hi to you from Bury st edmunds in sunny suffolk uk. I have a 2009 gibson custom songwriter the round shoulder one. I dont know how many of these were made? Hav,nt seen many in the UK. Have you had many at Normans? They are beautiful looking and sounding guitars. Cheers Nick
I dig the sound of that ol Gibson.
Sweet guitar! Somewhere, Orville smiling😊😊😊
Nice stuff Nick. I've got a circa 1945 J45, and it's such a neat sounding, well balanced instrument - they almost play themselves. Nice and crisp, which is the way I like acoustics. That one you're handling (well) there sounds like it'd be good in a recording or just fiddling around on its own.
Great guitar! Good Job on the demo, NIck!
Wow!
BEAUTIFUL! Sounded fantastic as well. Mikie like!
Nick the oh-so rare treat 👉👍
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night!
Wow! I really wanna buy this guitar. How can I buy it so far away here from Japan?
Wow fire lemo. Hire this mate
Nick, nice GOTD. What a beautiful sounding guitar.
I like the presenter! good job sir!
Great Job Nick!
Love the Dark Sunburst.
This man has a very good tone
Great demo. Guitar is stellar
Absolutely gorgeous!!
Nice job Nick!
Do these have the solid Kerfing left over from the LOO builds of 33’ and early 34’? Oooh if only!
Did I detect 'Jessica' by the Allman Brothers ?
Nice ol Gib. Mo Nick!
Great sounds
Some day I will own an early 50's LG-2 again.
great demo Nick
Yeah!
get back soon Norm
My favorite Fat chops friday!!!!
😎 Thanks Jen Nick ⚓️ See ya’ soon NORM!!!
👌
Gimme…I’d wear that out…
Nick, you said you were a “bit of a case nut”. Wondering if your coworkers might say “a bit of a nut case” instead, lol. Either way, that guitar is worthy and you made it sing. ✌🏼
Omg! You beat me to the 'Nut case!' Comment. Other than that, what an amazing piece of Americana. Americana music wouldn't be historical without Gibson, fender, Gretsch, Rickebacher etc. Thanks to men like Norman, the legend lives on and on. This video wouldn't have happened without Norms vision❤
Lovely bit of kit, beautiful !
Sounds fantastic... nice playing as well... watch out Lemmo, he might steal your job... JK
hola amigo
You should tune that gutiar. Sounds flat.
It probably needs constant playing to update its sound. But will more likely be bought by a collector
Is it my mistake or was he just speaking English ?
Either way, if I ever get to the store, we gotta jam.
He was because he is! No mistake matey
I like the newer Gibson Montana guitars better
I like fat guy Friday
