I absolutely hate cancer. I encourage everyone to join the fight against breast cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with Jenny, her family, and her friends. Godspeed Jenny.
damn...Lemmo has some insane chops. I cant get over all the chirps and inflections he gets out of this acoustic. The playing on this channel has greatly improved.
And a fine Flat Top Friday was had by all thanks to Mr. Lemmo and his magic fingers!! Condolences to the Pagliaro family, and all of Jenny's friends and fans. Far to young to be gone. R.I.P. young Lady. 🧡😪🌹🌹🧡
Wow, you can actually feel his emotions coming out in the end of that last song, that was amazing, guitar is a great healer, specially played like that
The hypnotic aspect of LISTENING to flat top playing is the right hand of the player. Your strumming sound is SO there. Not many know how to bring out the best in the spruce. You have nailed it. It's called finesse. Well done. B.
Love the D-28! My best friend's brother got a '67 for his high school graduation. Michael, you've got to learn at least a few bluegrass licks for when you demo on old Martin Dread!
D-28 , that is the one if you're an acoustic player , and that one is gorgeous , the sides and back are stunning , that Brazilian rosewood is just magnificient. Luv the Zep , their music is timeless and Lemmo just showed us why , very well done Michael. So sad to hear about Jenny , I lost my father to this devastating menace we call cancer so I'm all too familiar , wishing Jenny's family and friends deepest condolences , R.I.P. Jenny.
Nice guitar. Just like mine! I am the proud owner of a 1962 Martin D28, and it is truly a wonderful instrument that defies description. The only limitations it has is the person is the skill of the person playing it. It will do anything you ask and it never ceases to please.
My dream guitar. I wanted one and was saving up to purchase an older D-28 until I had 2 strokes. I finally got back some use of my right side and found some picks that will help me play again. Now to save up enough again to get one. Awesome video and great choice of music to demo it with.
Beautiful...innovative...haunting...transformative...fantastic! I'm trying to find the right word to describe that last song you played but just can't. Honestly, every time I tune in you show me something new and I hear the guitar being played in a way I have never heard it before! Lemmo = Legendary
Lemmo, your'e doing an AMAZING job of showing what these guitars sound like and the different sounds they can make!! Also, I could listen to you play all day!! Also, RIP Jenny. Your voice and music will live on!!
While attending Moravian College, my son worked at the music store across the street from the Martin factory in Nazareth. Mr. lemme probably spent some time at that store. It was owned by some truly wonderful people they were very kind to my son.
Man... That's The Way reminds me of all the times I drove the California coastline from Gaviota to Big Sur and listened to this, Going To California, Bron Yr Aur and Tangerine on repeat.
Jen, love it that u r stamping your personality and click with Lemmo. Thanks to u Lemmo. Love the LED Zel story & Martin factory story. Lush playing Michael. Great song on a class counding guitar.
Glad to see You were brought up on some GREAT MUSIC! By THE WAY... there's no better way to guarantee than to tell someone who they can't play with, that they will become Lifelong Friends!!!
Fantastic guitar......even better playing. 👏👏👏🙏 I was born in 67, and would love a Martin from that year..... I really thought I was going to miss Mark, but Michael just keeps knocking it out of the park! (Think my girlfriend misses Mark way more than I do !! 😉)
Praying for Jenny's family and friends and Angela as well. Lemmo looking forward to see you grow in this new role and letting your personality shine through. Hope to see you put your own spin on things and great playing sir.
I sit here wanting to give my condolences to ALL of Jenny's family and friends,,,no doubt she was way too young to go... sad to hear.....but....also.... fantastic work on that Boombox as usual Michael ! Proud to be a fellow Philly rocker
Please get a couple high quality microphones for guitar of the day so we can hear the harmonic subtleties of these one of a kind instruments. They deserve it and so do we! Great playing too.
The thing I miss about Agnesi doing guitar of the day is this: when Mark played the three songs at the end of the video, I felt like I could learn the song by watching him or at least pick up some tips. With Lemmo, I out just in over my head - his playing is so advanced and complex that I am overwhelmed.
The news of Jenny’s passing was a blow after following her battle with breast cancer as she pursued her career and dream as a talented singer and musician. Mike, that third song, wow! For Jenny.
Sorry t hear about the loss of Jenny... our prayers to her family and friends. ON a brighter note... So many of my friend's family worked at Martin that wouldn't hire him due to their rule of 1 family member per department...... His dad was so loved at Martin that his work bib is the only retired work bib hanging in the plant!
Michael thank you for the great mini concert on FTF. Yes, wed like more songs than 3 on a FTF with a D-28. I greatly appreciate how both Mark and you are greatly respectful of the listening audience. Its really nice to hear a show that you can count on that! Very Nice Tribute to another gone too soon.
Agreed with many of the other comments, Lemmo is quite the player and also doing a great job taking over. Love what you did with the Rain Song. Keep that creative spark going!
Who remembers when lemmo first played that original tune on the Kevin Ryan cathedral model loved it the first time I heard it lemmo your such an original player I have loved listening to your music since before you worked at norms and ever since you started lemmo demos and now GUitar of the day all so good you should make a album
Loved agnesi, but lemmo is taking the horse and reins, and blazing all new trails. Own a Martin and grew up Easton, pa lemmo. Long live the Lehigh valley! Lol! Sent a shirt👍
i really love what you do guys - Michael , you're playing is awesome and brillant , it really inspired and inspiring. The vibe is always really positive in the videos and it's so good to watch everyday. And yes, life is short, the undertaker can take us any time any place, we got to live our passion for music and guitar totally everyday.
Great to see Lemmo having more and more fun with each episode, thanks for everything guys!
Just when i thought this could never be replicated, Lemmo makes it real
I can't be the only guitar player who's thoroughly impressed with Lemmo, while also completely discouraged with their own playing....
I give up, selling everything
His playing style is very unique. He’s probably self taught like most of us.
Dan Bremer actually he spent some time at Berkley
Rick Brown oh. I didn’t realize. He has brought a new style with him though. I
Couldn’t agree more,
I absolutely hate cancer. I encourage everyone to join the fight against breast cancer. My thoughts and prayers are with Jenny, her family, and her friends.
Godspeed Jenny.
Praying to a fictional sky wizard won't help. Neither did science. Although at least science actually tried to help.
Have some heart dude.
@@maxscardanelli6185 dude don't you have a heart?
@@maxscardanelli6185 : Pointless self-important arrogance knows no bounds.

Much more skilled that Mark, certainly
1. Julia - The Beatles
2. That's the Way - Led Zeppelin
3. Melody of Rain Song / A LEMMO original? Beautiful whatever its name is.
EliTroyer The melody that comes after Rain song is this: ruclips.net/video/G4xwUymEoDo/видео.html i think its his original tune named " 1 "
Thank you, Eli!
@@pufi999 wow. Crazy. Kid was awesome than and even better and more Patient today. But that's from experience .

Cleanest Martin I’ve seen for the age, seems practically untouched. Beautiful. Lemmo has taken over perfectly.
Clean as a whistle
Lemmo is the best choice for this . I’m so glad we have a new host continuing a great tradition. Makes my day
Billy Coffin it’s not the same without mark I miss him
That original was a masterpiece! Bravo!

Mr Lemmo sir you’re doing a fine job.
The hypnotic aspect of LISTENING to flat top playing is the right hand of the player. Your strumming sound is SO there. Not many know how to bring out the best in the spruce. You have nailed it. It's called finesse. Well done.

Love the D-28! My best friend's brother got a '67 for his high school graduation.
Michael, you've got to learn at least a few bluegrass licks for when you demo on old Martin Dread!
Those harmonics at 10:40. Lemmo, holy crap.
