One of our favorite things about Mookie is that he exemplifies how even a smaller player can be an elite hitter. Give us a follow and we will show you how.
The under appreciated component to Mookie’s swing is how soft he is on his front side given the length of stride. It gives him adjustability and directionality to hit more pitches.
When Mookie got traded to LA you can tell he probably wasn’t gonna stay, Covid aside and all. The way he talked idk he didn’t seem excited and he later even admitted he didn’t think LA was a fit for him. But in the years since he really seems to enjoy it and embrace being on the dodgers and will now likely go into the HOF as a dodger. He will have played more of his career in LA than Boston and he seems to have some issues with Boston.. so yeah I’m sure he’s going I. As a dodger
Good thing for you guys to take a look at John Schlee video on Joe Morgan and Ben Hogans trailing elbow and the power plane many baseball people don't see this but it is the movement you are talking about that keeps you in the hitting zone because you are then in a position to hit he refers to top hand but would be a different action with bottom hand pull through guys that gets you into a position to hit OR the power plane ok rolling over after ball is on its way is a result of sweet spot passing hands now Mookie uses an axe bat I think that would give you the feeling of holding palm up palm down longer while if you thought of sweet spot on bat as a paddle trying to keep that paddle fully exposed through hitting zone which would result in a slight upward tilt
@@jabarigraham3131 One, and we both know which one, used PEDs and the one who didn't is in the HOF. the funny thing is the one who used PEDs will NEVER be in the HOF. That's what you get for cheating!! lol

Uggh why did the Red Sox trade him
Goooo mookie ... love ❤️ 😍 💖 you
There is only one player to have ever had a picture-perfect swing: Ken Griffey Jr.
Wrong!!! Barry bonds!!!

Tony Gwynn
Carlos Gonzales was also smooth as butter. I could watch that swing on a loop all day
@@rwwilson21 has no relevance to technique!!! Barry has the most efficient swing ever!!! Which makes it the most photogenic ever
Big ballyard guy huh
For a rightie, he does have a good looking swing! But, there's many lefties with a better natural swing path! The kid being the best of all time!
Go mookie
best player in baseball? did Shohei retire?
You spelled Ken Griffey jr wrong…
I’m still sick that they traded him.
Hey at least mookie betts is on a terrible team and the Red Sox are on fire right now.
@@kellenthemelon226 uh huh
See a doctor asap
@@hubbhub6225 😂 it kills me seeing him in a Dodger jersey
At least he got a ring can’t say that for the Red Sox
I love when MVPs and WS champs get compared to Trout. Beating up on Seattle and Texas 40 times a year doesn’t make you the game’s best.
Your right trout hasn’t won any mvp
This dude always getting hella overhyped all the time!🙄
Why is that bad. It makes show more interesting
@@samcalven12 he’s a Red Sox fan

Can’t appreciate a true 5-tool player and his greatness lol. Dudes 5’9 and can give it to any team at any given moment.
