    If I get a trd pro and put on a lo pro front bumper like yours, some skid plates, and an ultraswing will I need to do anything to beef up the suspension or will it handle it fine stock? How about a TRD off road? I’m trying to figure which one to get and don’t want to have to spend another 5grand on suspension as soon as I buy it.

    • @WanderlostOverland
      @WanderlostOverland  3 года назад

      Thanks for watching! You likely won't need a suspension upgrade immediately with the added weight, but you'll want heavier springs eventually. I believe the TRD Pro has slightly stiffer springs than the OffRoad stock.

    Be honest, how far over your payload max are you? ;P

      Scott Ttocs I've wondered the same thing. I have the exact same 4Runner and my payload is 835 lbs according to my door jam and owners manual. I hope they are never involved in an accident things could get ugly in a hurry if they are over weight. I love their 4Runner though.

    I know I could google it... please tell me more about the pump in the water jerry can. Also, are you considering adding manual locking hubs for the front? I'm considering them for my 2014 4R.

      Never mind on the water pump. I found your video. Still interested on the locking hubs. Thanks.

    Do you guys have a speedometer/odometer calibrator for your larger than stock tires?

      Nope. With the 285s there isn't a significant difference.

    Assume you do you own oil changes, have you done any modifications under there to make the process of changing oil easier/less messy?

      The RCI engine skid plate has a removable plate right under the oil filter canister that makes it incredibly easier to get at it. It also has a hole to get at the oil plug.
