Got the sr5 too. Take it everywhere off road with the stock suspension, 2 and a half inch lift with 286/70/17 tires. You def can’t be flying all over the place like he did in this video. You have to be smart if you don’t have the money for all these upgrades. I do want to get a suspension upgrade but they are expensive. Might just go with the Bilstein 5100 route front and back, one of the most cost effective upgrades but including install and alignment it’s still costly for my budget right now.
Yea, definitely don't need to be going that fast/crazy on stock suspension normally, wanted to test and see what it could, or couldn't handle stock. A milder setup works well too, just sometimes might have to take it slower/be more mindful
I learned the same lesson SR5 here too I still got stock suspension but wrapped ATs on it ATRAC is a disaster held all my torque and snapped my CV blew the bearings out the hub mainly due to the front end flexed all the way
@@AutoRevolutionOnline currently running the same setup different brand, how much of a difference does the sway bar drop make you think, with vs without? Thanks
Man I need to find a good off road style shop for my 4runner here in Maryland. Cali has so many awesome respected shops like this specifically for off roading. Haven’t been able to find much where I live.
Recklessly hurling your vehicle around off-road is not the way to drive. That is not a test. No wonder it 100% meet expectations. You must be new at off-road driving and have never heard of "As slow possible and as fast as necessary"
@@AutoRevolutionOnline First Apologies on my previous comment. But those sheep as I like to call them. Don’t even know what the $&@ they are talking bout. Of course they are going to shit talk. I mean look at what they chose to drive. Great chose on your rig bud
@@Wolf-go5py Thanks, we love it and think the mini van comments are hilarious...because you can seat 8 people in ones with a 3rd row versus uncomfortable Jeeps!
That mechanic was legit!
talks about getting a bumper repainted.... takes it through a swirl mark generator wash T___T
Thought the same thing, I cringed....
Odd to place through a brush car wash ???
😂😂😂😂 and it still came out dirty
Arrgh!!
Thanks for demonstrating why you should NEVER go through one of those gas station car washes 👍

Agreed. Driving was reckless and too fast for the situation. That's not a test. That like driving a sports car off the sidewalk for a "test"
why did you pick the SR5? I'm curious because im looking at buying one soon. idk which one to go with.
Very nice vlog. Question: Approximately how much did it cost for the suspension, wheel & tire upgrade cost?

Great video. Can’t wait to see what you do next.
SR5 gang!!
Excellent video !!
I can’t wait to see what’s ahead! Great video 🔥
Nice video, thanks for sharing ✌
Damn wish this was tested with the kdss system!
With a 3in lift in the front, high caster UCA, is the sway bar drop a necessity for a caster of 4 or more?
It is included as part of the Icon kit. So its all setup to work together properly.

Was looking forward to new auto revolution!!!
Sorry for the guys who washed their vehicles right after this guy 😖
The fist 4runner video I've seen where the mechanic pops the ball joints and tie rods they way 90% of mechanics do it. Whack it with a hammer! lol

So for suspension, wheel, and tire how much did it run you
why did you choose the SR5? I'm curious. I'm looking into getting one and idk which one to choose.
The cost difference as we planned to replace the wheels/suspension anyways.
Does the suspension void your vehicle warranty?
Why didn't you change skid plate on 4Runner?
We did in the next episode when adding the bumper!
What’s the black lower side decals?
They are the sponsor logos from the 4runner being at SEMA. Fit it into the lower body line section
What offset are you running?

Can you give a breakdown on costs for all the upgrades?
Alot of work. Should of thought of buying a factory trd pro.
About 10k just in parts. That’s kinda expensive, for the fire roads he was crushing.
What is the tire size you are running? You give me so much inspiration, looks amazing!
285/65R18 Yokohama Geolandar X-AT. 33" And thank you!
F the car behind you in the car wash
Talking about new paint then you take it to that car wash and swirl the hell out of your paint with microscratches and it didnt even come out clean
Mini-van of the off road world where the fuck do you live lol. I’ve never heard it called that. Maybe they meant you look like a mini-van body wise 😂
It is what some Jeep guys call it to make fun of it lol
