I put 24 miles on mine and up a steep hill on full assist otherwise I ride conservatively. With the assist between 2 and 3 .roubd trip is 24ish miles and I still had 3 bars showing on my battery undicater. I. Weight around 180lbs since I started riding EBikes .before that I was pushing 240lbs . but yeah great video thanks for talking al but about your cam too .im researching those too .and yeah I'm trying not to spend a ton on a camera . I did have a guy pull out in front of me and took off after causing damage to my bike and minor cuts to my hand I avoided hitting him on gravel but dude took off. Anyways would be be nice to be able to record these comutes and talk smack aling the way .haha
Enjoying your ride.Just got my 2020 Radrover and only waiting to get my helmet to enjoy a cruise.Have the same mirror and got the Topeak backrack and bag.Was going to use it for work but lost my job due to the situation.I drive truck so should be back working as soon as the Ontario,Canada government lets me.Be looking forward to more of your rides.
I'm trying to figure out if I can do the controller upgrade on my radrover 5 2020 and still have the brake light and rear normal light work? Also do you need a new display or just plug the new controller into the old display?
My bike is a 2019 but I believe the upgrade works for the 2020 as well. If you’re getting the controller upgrade from Bolton it includes the display. Bolton has a kit that includes the plug for the rear brake light, make sure to order the right one as the older version does not have the rear brake light connection.
That was one fun Rad ride. Enjoyed your commentary especially since I’m new to the electric bike concept ..you got me subscribed. 👍
Thanks Tony, glad you enjoyed it 👍🏼

thegunsmithful hydraulic brakes, with that extra horsepower you need some more stopping power.
