Hey, cool video. Just wanted to let you know a few weeks back I did a range test on my 2019 radrover bike. I live in NYC and completed a 37.19 mile on my bike, It took almost 4 hrs. to complete the ride. The trick was not to use the throttle and only used the peddle assist on level lower than 4. I kept it between 2 - 3. The battery will last longer on the commute. Out of 5 bars, I had one bar left by the time I got home. The down side was the seat. Other than that it was worth the ride. Hope this helps.
Yeah I ride the Bronx, NY with 2 batteries and can be out for hours on end. I’m planning to take the train up and ride 90miles from Poughkeepsie, NY home this summer. I figure if I keep it on 1-2 majority of the trail ride and between the 2 batteries I should make it to my area/home.
Love Your Video Thank You for Posting . I Just Bought a 2020 RadRover Step Thru on back order that will be shipped in July , I am sure it will be worth the wait :-) I Live in the Mountains of Eastern Tennessee Lots of very Hilly off road trails here.
I’ve heard those Tennessee mountains are amazing, you’ll have a blast exploring them on your Rover! Thanks for watching, when you get your Rover you should make some videos of a mountain ride, I’d love to see them.
Tennessee as a whole is beautiful and very mountainous! My wife went to ETSU and misses that state! I can only imagine what fun you will have on your Rad Power Bike!
Awesome vid again Coop bro! You’re a natural at vlogs bro, u should deffo keep them up! Maybe a drone vid one day? As I know u mentioned u fly them in ur last vid. Keep up the awesome work buddy! 👍😁
@@SuPRCooPR With only 300 miles on my tire is showing a lot of wear. I weighed 220 pounds and ride temperatures between 29°F and 85°F. Third of that is off-road rest is on pavement. Very little flat uphill and downhill big hills. I don’t understand why the tire is showing so much where.
@@joeberrntsen7139 I put about 500 miles on the stock Kenda tires and the back tire was worn through to the cords. I replaced them with the Hookworm tires from Maxxis and they are still going strong. They were cheaper than the Kendas too.
Nice! I am 200lbs and was worried if it would have enough oomff! I have no plans on taking jumps but i want to be able to make it up a hill to see what is on the other side! Will be waiting till august for mine
Deryk MacLeod I’ve got a 100 lbs on you and even the stock set up pulled me around easily. When you get it just reprogram the max speed (you can find videos, really easy) and you’ll be flying.
Lol ONLY 200 lbs...you are tiny....My husband is 340 lbs and 6 foot 7...this bike would be flat tired on first ride....I'm sure this bike will handle your tiny body and minuscule weight just fine...
Yeah, I replaced several parts on the bike. There is a video on my channel where I go over all the changes I've made, it includes links if you're interested.
I don't see this as a good example of good eBike juju. Got to slow down and not be so throttle happy. U scared the daylights out of some of those unsuspecting folks.
This was shot in timelapse, my average speed for the trip was only 11 mph, much slower than what even an average road bike rider would do. I never once scared the daylights out of anybody. Safety is important to me, I always use a bell, wear a high-vis vest and ride with my lights on even in the daylight. Bad juju is falsely criticizing something without knowing the facts.
@@SuPRCooPR I thought you were being very respectful. You slowed and stopped for traffic, foot and bike, stopped at crossings. Good example of respect for others! Thank you.

That's rad, I could not imagine 4 hours on that seat, ouch. My problem is that I love to go fast so 2-3 just feels like I'm riding in slo-mo. Thanks

It would be helpful to know how you ride. Any pedaling? What assist number on the controller? How old the battery? What does battery issues mean?

Anything less than 75 miles seems disappointing for an e bike. Scooters have better range and you don’t have to pedal.
You must be south of TV Highway around Murry. I had no idea there were so many bike paths around here.
I think it’s called the Greenway trail, runs through Beaverton, Tigard & Tualatin. We are very fortunate to have so many great trails in our area.
Can you put a sensor for your pedal to see how fast your bike going? Cause if the is going so fast you can't pedal no more.
The bike comes equipped with a speedometer.
Was that all on battery only or pedal assist
How many miles do you get out of your back tire?
Over 2500 miles so far and still going strong 💪

@@SuPRCooPR thanks for the info I appreciate it.
Just a guess you may need to do the 12hour charge to balance the cells.....helped my rover a lot......
good point, I now do them once a month.

What size is that battery
It’s the stock 48v 14ah battery.
stock display?
No, this is the LCD8H display that comes with the Bolton Ebikes RadRover upgrade kit.
Did you replace the handle bar?
Yeah, I replaced several parts on the bike. There is a video on my channel where I go over all the changes I've made, it includes links if you're interested.
