Tom Hirt, the speaker mount is not on the handlebars. The speaker is mounted on the vertical post below the handlebars. That's why it seems so large when trying to attach it to the handlebars. Hope that helps.
Yes it does!! Thanks! I did get an indication of this watching the assembly video I later found and included in the description above. But the funny thing is I went back to the HSN videos of Tony selling these and they did show one instance of the speaker mounted loosely and swinging around on the handlebar. So I'm not going crazy....yet.
Here's a pdf link to an older model manual. It's easier to read then the paper back manual using font size 3. Go to the Operation page and it explains a long press on the Power button for 2 seconds turns it off and on. Now note, our display controller doesn't use the international symbol for power, no, someone had the brilliant idea to label it M.
