Just purchased this bike today, Black Friday deal, ur coupon didn’t work with the sale today. I purchased this over the graffiti X because this was more portable and less weight compared and saved a bunch of money. Also, the less expensive graffiti is also well built but lacked real power. This one fits the bill on all levels. It’s basically a superior Super73 just a bit heavier with the option of a beefy 2nd battery.

Best review I have seen, but you're wrong about the power levels. You can switch it to 3/5/9 levels, each adjusting power as you would expect. I personally keep mine in 9 giving me the most adjustments. Almost 700 miles on mine and love it.
Why do they put a battery pack on top that looks like a motorcycle gas tank ? It is just silly. Putting the battery lower in the frame would make more sense for the ergonomics and riding balance.
So u can put a 50 ah frame battery down below and combine it for a total of 75 ah of battery! What seems like an idiotic choice initially by them turns out to be quite genius. They got it all planned out I tells ya.
The Motor Goat used to have a 4.5" tire in the front but it was rubbing on the fork so they switched it to a 4" on the front and left the back at4.5" So I would not recommend putting Super 73 4.5 or 5" tires on this. There are plenty of options for a dual motor e-bike that are nearly as fast that are better suited to off-road. If you off-road so much that you consider sacrificing the great Innova slicks that come stock for off road tires then maybe the MG is not the best decision for you. Also you need to be a mechanical engineer to take the back tire off the MG. I own one of these and I can attest to its quality. The only pain point is that you have to be very careful attaching the battery to the mount as it can easily fall off. It is extremely poor design and I recommend just leaving it on once you are sure that it's on there solid. A lot of people are using cinch cables to strap the battery onto the frame, which is just silly they have to do that. Once that battery falls off your bike I really wouldn't want to use it again because it could just be a time bomb after that.
Realistically the beat would be to get the 50ah battery, pedal less, get a tank bag for the top and a locking storage on the rear behind the seat. You can add saddlebags for extra storage.
50 amp controller. The motor might be able to peak at 3000w but, if the controller max is 50 amp, the bike will peak at 2,400W. what is the actual power rating of the motor?
Pedals I want. I spent 9 months in a full body cast 8-31-1981. Doctors said I would never ride again. They were so wrong. At 66 I ride mostly off road. Young kids have a hard time keeping up. If I could afford this I would put dirt tires and a 2nd battery on this beast. I might be able to buy a Meelod 300 max if I sell my current ride. I put over 500 miles on this summer. I'll give you guys a big tip.. from someone who owns the motor goat V3. If you are 5'5, that is about the shortest you can be to ride this bike comfortably. Now take that comfortably part serious, because I'm 5'5, 300 lb, and when I ride the bike, I wish that I was just one inch taller. Or even a half an inch taller. Because I can not plant my feet down flat when I'm coming to a stop after flying down the road at 45 mph. Now, it may not seem too big of a deal.. who cares, so what, you're standing on your tippy toes, but to me that is a big deal because being able to plant my feet flat down on any other bike makes it so much more comfortable and confident when taking off after stopping, its easier to come to a stop confidently, everything is easier when you can plant two feet solidly on the ground. Now if standing on your toes is not an issue for you the get the bike immediately because no other bike even comes close in this price range.

The power goat looks like the most uncomfortable seat, then the billy goat and the motor goat looks like the most ample seat. I would maybe grab the hulk goat seat and put it on the motor goat 😂
No problems! Tons of power. Friend of mine runs a channel called “Shoot the Chit” Big guy around the 250lbs range and he loves this bike. Go check it out
I'm 350 and it get's me up hills just fine. Now there have been two really steep hills where I need to add some pedaling to get up the last 20 yards - but I'll note the Super 73s with much lighter riders had to be pushed up those hills.
I'm currently looking for an e-bike. I just saw this vid and I'm interested in getting one of these. It looks like you are in Maple Ridge. That's where I live. Where did you get that Motor Goat? Local? Or online?
Got it shipped to Blaine Washington. There’s a place called Mailboxes International, they receive your bike and you go pick it up and drive it across the border. You’ll pay duty but it’s not too bad…
Oh okay. That's not too far. If I do that I'll also do the milk and cheese thing at the same time.😆 I'm also considering Volt which is in PoCo and Rize in Richmond. Thanks for the info. 👍
Im guessing you can not buy an aftermarket battery to match the voltage of this Goat 71.4 volt battery. So Goat makes a killing selling batteries that cost 50-60% more than an aftermarket one. $650 instead of $450
Could be… maybe a battery balancer would work with an after market battery. But to be honest, it would have to be a fairly high end battery to get proper amperage that the bike demands. In my opinion, you’re better off getting the right battery from the source.🤷🏻♂️

Vs goat, graffiti x has a bunch more power, battery capacity, lower center of gravity for stability, belt drive vs chain, air fork, but is more expensive. Both great but you get what you pay for.
Thanks for the great video review. I think the goat is a way better deal. If you buy the 50 amp hour battery for the goat you're working with 75 amp hours of battery for $4,200 (free shipping) as compared to The graffiti X you get 40 amp hour battery for 4,600 plus shipping which is going to get you close to $5,000. You'll be able to go four or five miles per hour faster (on the X) but you'll lose a s*** ton of range. To be honest who's going to ride 45 mph on the regular anyways? You also burn through the battery quicker on the bigger motor on the X.
@@tonyholmes9024 Yeah. I haven't been too impressed by the range of the Graffiti X's 40 ah from what I'm hearing. U would think 40 ah would beat the 25 ah of the Goat's in range, but that's simply not the case.
I install a great loud hidden $14 alarm with key fob on the A site. Nobody knows unless they touch it. For another $14, I add light rubber mounted strobing lights, front and rear. It helps others see me, it protects me and them. Roads cars, pedestrians on trails. Ride hard.

What moped e-bike should I pull the trigger on? Reliability, comfort and speed are my main priorities.
Ooh… How fast you wanna go? And how tall? How much you weigh? Budget?
I’ve been thinking about getting one of those for a very long time
I just may have to
Also, curious, what type of helmet are you wearing
Really liking the style
Do it! You won’t regret it! If you use my link in the video’s description, you’ll save some money!🤘🏻 The helmet is a mountain biking helmet by Troy Lee Designs.
I wish it would be possible to buy this bike in the UK and EU
Yeah, you guys have some pretty strict laws out there…😡
@@thebikecavewhich is stupid because buying such a bike I don't have to use it on public roads, I can buy it to use it for fun on private property etc, despite this, there are few companies offering moped style ebikes in the UK and EU. We have Super73 which is more expensive than in the US and Engwe, the rest is total crap . I wish bikes like rev1up motor goat ect existed here too
Hi, great video thank you. How would you say the goat would do in soft sand, on the coast, I would like to use it to get to my beach fishing spots.
Should work… I took it on the beach in my video…
Can you upgrade 50ah battery and check range please
I’ll do my best…💪🏻
What one is your favorite
Ooohh…. Top 3 bikes this year: 3- Revv1, 2- Motor Goat, 1- Graffiti X🤘🏻
Wait till the new 72 volt
Goat comes out. 60 + mph.
You know something I don’t?
@
Be soon. Real soon.
Before Jan
I know a website that can upgrade your everyday monster into an all-out destroyer, but I'm coming from a 20ish, hey bike, so this one will be a true ripper for me.
A new Goat bike coming out thats even faster?
@
Yep soon
22:24 so graffiti X isn’t better overall I figured
The graffiti X crosses over to the e-moto side… the goat is still a bicycle…
How do you get it road legal?
It already has everything you need for the road. Mirrors, lights, turn signals… you’re set!
Bro needs to get the ristretto
I’m chatting with Christopher about that right now…
Power Goat or Moto Goat, which has the best seating/riding position?
Haven’t ridden the Power Goat yet… Not sure.
The power goat looks like the most uncomfortable seat, then the billy goat and the motor goat looks like the most ample seat. I would maybe grab the hulk goat seat and put it on the motor goat 😂
Placing a heavy battery on top of an e-bike works against the principles of centripetal force and overall stability. ...
True… lower is better.💪🏻
Between 38 & 42mph is my guess 🤔
I’m interested in this bike but I worry about my weight being 250 and how it can get me up a hill with that weight ??
No problems! Tons of power. Friend of mine runs a channel called “Shoot the Chit” Big guy around the 250lbs range and he loves this bike. Go check it out
I'm 350 and it get's me up hills just fine. Now there have been two really steep hills where I need to add some pedaling to get up the last 20 yards - but I'll note the Super 73s with much lighter riders had to be pushed up those hills.
I wish I already had the money to get this
Me too! 💪🏻
If I do that I'll also do the milk and cheese thing at the same time.😆
I'm also considering Volt which is in PoCo and Rize in Richmond.
Northeast battery systems. But it's only 100 dollars cheaper for the same sizes.
@mkeonine oh. Ok. It's not easy finding some battery configurations. I'd be happy saving $100
@@JohnBabcock-qy1cs Yup. Same 17s Samsung cells(charges to 71.4v) and everything. I'm saving up for theirs cuz it's much lighter, which is the best part.
The intro...😂
Glad it made someone laugh!😂
And why does Happy Tail get 48 mph on the Billy Goat?
Warmer in California probably?🤷🏻♂️
@@thebikecave lol... I don't think 5 mph from 10°F warmer weather .
I think the V3 Billy Goat with dual batteries is just faster than the other models.
Yes
Think it will make it 20 miles at full throttle? 🤔
Oh yeah! 25-30 miles throttle only
@ hmmm. It’ll make it to work then
I'm looking at the Billy Goat. Much cleaner look.
Yeah. I’d love to get that one in next!
@@thebikecave Mines coming on Sunday. I'm stoked.
im 6'3 think i could fit
Yep! No problem at all.
Hey brother , ive been looking for a e bike channel like this , just started getting into it and want to buy my self a bike from 1000-1300 euro range, what would be the best recommendation will be going to work and shop
Man you guys have the strictest laws there… I really don’t know. What’s the most powerful motor you can have there?
@@thebikecave A maximum power output of 250 watts or less, but lets be honest i think 1000 watts is still fine dont think they will know any difference if i keep the limit of 25km per hour , in Ireland btw
I think you'll get to 43 mi an hour
Close… 😬
Nice bike
One of the best out there!🤘🏻
@thebikecave which difference with rav1, goat, or graffiti coz i never test this you can explain it.🙏
Vs goat, graffiti x has a bunch more power, battery capacity, lower center of gravity for stability, belt drive vs chain, air fork, but is more expensive. Both great but you get what you pay for.
Revv1 is 52v 20Ah battery with 36mph top speed, Goat is 60v 25Ah battery with 45mph top speed, Graffiti X is 60v 40Ah battery with 50mph top speed.
@@tonyholmes9024even better, get an AMORGE battery with 300line amps and a fardriver controller to take the bike to the stratosphere 😅
Baphomet bike looks coo
does motor goat's bikes have vin numbers? if i wanted to register one?
I don’t think so…
Why register a bike? What country do you live in?
I install a great loud hidden $14 alarm with key fob on the A site. Nobody knows unless they touch it. For another $14, I add light rubber mounted strobing lights, front and rear. It helps others see me, it protects me and them. Roads cars, pedestrians on trails. Ride hard.
@@DoubtingThomas-mx8sl mi usa. and being over the 28mph speed limit for a class 3 e bike here. its considered an electric motor cycle. I cant afford to drop 3,500k$ on an e bike to get pulled over going 30+ get a ticket and the bike impounded.
@ArtEddy-e6q Is that Michigan? Why would they think bikes would have VIN's. Sounds like a Communist State or Country. If they had VIN's they would want registrations, insurance, permits, and licenses. Tell the Governor to stop smoking Crack. I would buy one and drive 28 on the street. No cop should bother you. Go as fast as you can on the trails.
I hate the fake tank look with huge open frame like where no engine is on a real motorcycle. BILLY GOAT all the way! Dual battery. Bags and extra battery in frame is ok.
That was my opinion also. So, I have the Billy coming in two days.
@roypublic3269 I'm still going to wait and see if they come out with seat and suspension upgrades. I might get a Billy Goat but just going to wait.. I can get by with my Ariel Rider for now.
uphill 25mph downhill 100mph
🤣
43mph is my guess if it’s flat ground. I have one and that’s how fast it takes my 190 pounds son.
Close… Got a little faster!💨
48mph I watched Tailhappy review
Tailnhappy hit 44 mph..billy goat hit 48..I have the v2 it sucks 39mph not like they claim 45mph
Bad day to be wearing nice white shoes lol. Pedals on this "bike" is just for show to say it's an ebike. With no adjustable seatpost its useless. What's the realistic range on this beast?
25-30 miles depending on rider weight, elevation, speed…
I'm thinking 46
Super Close...
Im guessing 44 mph at the beginning of the video.
Good guess. Got a smidge over that!🤣
😖 You need to run it again but using a GPS speedometer instead of just using the bike’s odometer. 👍🏼 My Billy GOAT v2 does 43 mph. 👍🏼
I’ll be sure to do that next time, I’m curious to see the difference. 👊
It's not a K6 🥱
What’s a K6?
This Bike i bet, is not friendly to a 5'4 guy like me 😢
47 mph is the top speed
Maybe a lighter Ben … 🤣
44mph
🫶🏻
My guess is 40mph
Way off! 🤦🏻♂️🤣
2.5k euro
Yeah… About the same USD.
when you can get a Suzuki gixxer WHY!!
No license or insurance needed…🤷🏻♂️
@@thebikecave very sad excuse
32mph
Way off!😉🐐
No chain guard is dangerous go back to the drawing board
Why do you need a chain guard? It’s a hub motor… The only time the chain moves is when you’re pedalling.
🐐
Yes!!!🤜🏼🤛🏼
👎🏼 Tires ? If you put a 4.5 on the front, it will rub. That’s why ALL GOAT bikes come with 4.0 front and 4.5 on rear.
Good to know. Thanks for the heads up! 👍

Maybe without the camera gear... 😜
