GOOD LUCK with that mileage. I have a 2023 with 2300 miles and I MIGHT get 25 ACTUAL mpg with charging it every day and driving 26 miles to work. Without charge I was getting 18.3ish MPG. @@hernandez5586 it’s a laundry list of issues. We got it in October of 23 and I got rid of it after 3 months. First, it’s my wife’s truck and she drive round trip 4 miles for her job. The truck goes into FORM (fuel oil refresh mode) 5 times in 3 months and takes around 1.5-2 hours for it to get out of it. You can’t drive in hybrid or full electric when this happens. The infotainment system died after 2 weeks. The blue tooth doesn’t work correctly, the memory seats reset about once a week. The seats also move on their own when the car is off and the front seats will lay all the way down flat on their own. They tried so many “updates” nothing helped and finally when they said it was fixed, I drove it off the dealership lot and the seats moved as I was driving. I turned around and brought it back and I broke the lease that day. I had to pay 6500 because the truck loses so much value that the appraisal for the dealership left that much of a gap…. These dealerships have SO MANY 4xe’s because they suck so hard. I’m so happy it’s out of my driveway. It was also so cheaply made. The inside is all plastic and cheap piano black finishes. For 72K it’s a pile of cheap crap.
I have 2024 Rubicon 4xe, it's horrible with gas mileage I am currently ruining 17.5 per mile %80 highway, I gave up charging everyday ,Also very loud engine. I hope I can trade in it with minimum damage.
Our Rubicon 4xe does not have power seats, and we don't miss them at all. Different priorities for different folks. 17 kWh battery energy capacity is well suited to powering devices such as computers and transceivers for good long periods and at high power levels, even without starting up the gas engine which is always there when you want it.
Yeah just picked up this same model 3 weeks ago. Bummed it came with 33s but not end of the world. When the factory tires wear out, I’ll just put 35s on. Seems like with this trim you don’t need a lift to fit 35s.
Anyone even thinking about purchasing this vehicle needs to understand this fact. The capacity of the battery of this vehicle is 17.3 kWh. To use Michigan as an example if you charge your vehicle during off peak times you’ll pay .16 per kilowatt hour. if you do the math that will cost you $2.76 to completely charge your battery. You’re going to get 22 miles for $2.76. It’s not even worth it to ever charge at a charger, other than your home. The average cost per Google at a charging station is $.45. That means if you charge your Jeep other than your home you’re going to pay $7.78 to go 22 miles.
😮I got a 4xe rubi and I love it. The extra weight from the battery and extra power from the hybrid motor make it the bomb. I bought through a car broker. I got 37s on 20s with mopar 4xe lift for 58k otd.
Same here, and the new (for 2024 model) factory-installed WARN winch is great, as is the new included Power Box auxiliary outlets. The Power Box outlets can output up to 120V * 30A ~ 3600 Watts. May not be integrated as well as Ford Pro Power Onboard outlets, but Power Box is a nice new feature. Keep up the good work, my colleagues at Stellantis/Jeep engineering, it was great working with you in Michigan at your excellent ADAS Highway test facility in Chelsea Michigan!
The 4XE is not worth it if its not under warranty, I work for a Chrysler shop we just replaced a battery under warranty. it cost the dealer $20,000. from Samsung and thats not including labour.. I would imagine once there out of warranty within the next few years the cost might com down. I have a feeling once this shit is out of warranty nobody will want them

We leased a Rubicon 4xe here in northern Utah, so we'll get the latest and greatest in 2025, worth it in this case of new & interesting electrified vehicles -- Meanwhile the stock Rubicon has been great off road including the tires and sway bar disconnect and all, for example on the Fins & Things trail in Moab. A Starlink satellite antenna mounted on a cargo carrier on the back is a perfect match, for serious Internet connectivity for work wherever you have a good view of the sky, and surprisingly good even in motion with tall trees lining the road such as on mountain roads in Oregon.
Awful purchase. I've had my brand new 4xe for less than a year and 8500 miles. Had to take it to the dealer for a check engine light. They told me it's a transmission problem and that it would take a week to fix. It's now been over two weeks and the most recent update was that they can't get a hold of the parts... No time frame for when I can expect my car back. I do not recommend the 4xe
