My son scored a Eglide D150 from Santa Xmas just past. It's an awesome Scooter. Dual motors and in too gear using both motors it does 36km/ph, no mods or hacks or Apps needed. It's just what it does straight from the shop, Brand New.

Quick question. Can you use the Segway app to control the scooter like turning off cruise control, locking your scooter, etc.. after hacking it ? And doing so will it change back to your normal frame wire.
When you hack your scooter. You are just. Hanging some parameters.

It's really hard to brick it, it doesn't really brick like smartphones do, it's more that you may get an error code, but then all you have to do is just flash it back
On phone it's just 1 click to flash it back to original

Steve Kirn you can use windows laptop with Bluetooth. Or android phone. Everything is Bluetoothed up
What app do you use to open ninebotflasher on windows? When I click on the file I get a box asking if I want to use word, media player notepad or browse apps on Microsoft store.

After unssuccessful flash my Max has error 19. Screen switches off after turning it on and when keeping the button it shows error 19. Is it difficult to fix?

One question to you. If i hack my ninebot maxg30 is there any options to optimize the range? I want to have optim range.other words i like to have the best range to go farthest. If the topspeed drop a bit thats ok because i think the range is more important to me. Thanks for the answer
Hey. So you can optimise the range and get more but you have to lower the power which if you live in an area with hills you will have to start pushing
How do you connect the scooter to the computer?
Any idea why ninebot-flasher does not do anything when I hit start scan. I have my scooter on and I'm using windows 10 with bluetooth
Keep pressing the button on your ninebot max. This will connect it to your laptop.
The app on your computer will then start.
Would it work for my Max G30LP wish is the new version of the max and also is more economical?????

Just ordered 2 max g30lp’s. What speed did you get it to after flashing? Also had you heard anything on an external battery for the max. I saw one for the es2 but not sure if they fit the max
chris ashley awesome :). I got gen 1 motor so max speed I can get is around 19 mph for short period when battery full. The only way to get more speed is to upgrade the motor then battery.
Ok nice. They said 18.6 out the box on the g30lp’s.
chris ashley mine came out the box with 18.6. Most are limited to 15.5.

Do you get 20-25 miles with the mod or without the mod? Im 100kg and just got g30e II its coming within 2 days. Its gonna be my first scoter so im not sure what to expect. Im hoping to get 5 more kph with mod and hopefully have like 25-30km range. Is that possible? Its with gen1 motor.

Hi, are you also able to hack it with the gen 2 motor so it goes the 33 km/h on ‘S’ mode, 25 KM/h on ‘D’ mode and 15-20 KM/H in ‘ECO’ mode? If this is possible, could tell me how to do so?🙏🏻❤️
Ruubchens should be the same procedure as in this video. However, I currently do not have the gen 2 motor. But when I do. I will do a updated video :).

What happens when you mod your segway and get an accident / insurance problem?
I’m guessing this will be different depending on where you are.
Here in the UK, private owners are not permitted to ride them out of private property. So with us we would have major issues. However if a car hits us they will be in the blame too.
So it’s very much a grey area.
What is the difference between speed based throttle and DPC?
Edit: one thing I noticed is that since I made the new update, my G30LP won't do much over 24 on flat surfaces and I have to push it up slight hills. Did I do something wrong. I believe mine has the Gen 2 motor if that helps.
Your first question, I'm not sure, I need to research this. I tend to leave it as default.
As for the over 24, did you make sure to increase the speed to over 45kmh on the settings? If you didn't, this might have capped your speed to be slower.

to me is the best option it will your scooter go faster without having to change any other option i will only change (motor starting speed to 2 )

@@ScootLetsGo well i was thinking if your scooter has a stronger battery and motor it should be able to take you faster...because the option said it will ignore speed limit and im sure it will go that 18mph ...if you can try it..you know you can always change back
I would do this just for that start speed.
I pretty much did the same. Cranked up the torque slightly
Would you recommend using the quadratic acceleration and if so do i keep the rising coeffiecient the default 300 or what, or should i just keep it flat
I actually need to do an update on this hacking method as they have changed a fair number of peramiteres. When I get some time, I will look into it. :)
Hey there, I tried doing this today.. it seems the site where you get the file from has changed.. it doesn’t allow me to select what app I’m using on pc. And there are 4 or 5 files to choose from at the end. I’m a little worried I grab the wrong file. Ninebot max gen1 and using PC with ninebot flasher app. Any suggestions?

This is a great commute scooter. After like 1 week with this one I realize I might buy a new one which go 45km/h. Of course I wont ride that fast most of the time but going 35 and being able to keep 30km/h to work will be awesome!
Do you currently have the GEN-1 motor? If you go for the GEN-2 you will be able to sustain 30KPH. Also, you could flash it to go a little faster.
@@ScootLetsGo yes i got the gen 1 motor somehow.... I don´t know how there are still gen 1 when this was released 1 year ago. I am really disappointed but at the same time I´m glad I got this scooter. Next time I will go for one with suspension and is a bit faster. I´m planning to sell mine in 6 months

@@ScootLetsGo I will maybe in the future when this one is older but I got a great price for mine less than half the price! I will probably get more for this when I sell it than keep it and upgrade it. I saw the widewheel pro... damn its fast and nice looking.
Leon I like the speed and power on the WW. Just sketchy when the ground is a little damp and has stones. It doesn’t really cut into the ground. I found that the back end likes to skid out often if you don’t keep your wits about you. I had a go on the x11 the other day and the wheels are kinda the same so you find that you have to be so careful cornering.

hi so i flashed it using a cromebook and xiaoflasher, when it says flash successful reboot scooter to i just turn it off and back on or is it switch through all the speed modes and then turn it off and back on?

Thatguywiththe 45 welcome. :). At this time I’m not going to be changing the battery as people are asking beyond ridiculous prices. You will also need to make sure you have 2nd gen motor otherwise changing the battery won’t help

Mine now gets to 33 kmp in 2 seconds from standstill,needs more top speed and this scooter would be excellent
To get more speed, you would need to up voltage with an extra battery if you haven't already got the Gen2 motor. :)

after doing this my ninebot wont charge anymore or it doesnt give feedback while charging but im not sure if its charging at all.

Bill Cipher I’m sorry to hear that. It’s strange that it won’t charge. I’ve had this issue. But maybe unplug the control board like when you assembled it. And then put it back on
@@billcipher801 i had the same shit, bro. I have max g30LE and it didn't charge after flashing. I managed to solve this problem by going to original segway app and it instantly proposed me to update the firmware. I did that and it helped, thanks god!
What's the biggest difference between gen 1 and 2 thanks
Gen 1 you get more torque, better for hills. Gen 2 you get slightly more speed.
Is there a way to make this work with the newer F series Ninebot's that are available in Australia?

I was searching same thing for months for my f40e.
I found something for several models from F series but it's not a big boost. Just to 30km/h - it was limited to 25

Dude posted a link to the needed apk (it's doable only via android phone) and he wrote step by step how to do it.
It's very simple process
I know it's not too much - only to 30km/h - but it's better than nothing.

I tried with xiaoflasher but because ninebot app does not let me through the welcome tutorial video it will not let to exceed the set speed limit however region is changed to US already, phone and ninebot g30max are binded. Pls help, may be I will try to PC as you showed...

Hi, I tried to flash my G30 by following your instructions - I also tried with SN change and region change in flashing app but the only thing that happens is that drive mode max speed increases from 20 to 26 km/h, nothing happens with sport mode - it stays at 26 km/h. Shouldn't it work like that - D stays on 20 km/h and S increases to 30-33 k/h? Do you maybe have an idea what could be done in here?
I’m not sure what’s causing this. I do need to do an update on how to flash from start to finish.
D mode will change once flashed. But S mode should go up to 30KPH once flashed.
@@ScootLetsGo Thanks for reply! I discovered something - the battery was charged to around 60% initially. I could ride with 25km/h on S then. Today I charged the battery and on 80% it reaches 28km/h on D and S. So two things basically - seems like the Vmax drop is strongly connected with battery lvl (too much I guess when it is 5km/h less on 60% battery - sth could be done with that?); second thing is why Vmax on D also increases and equals to S? I though D stays at 20 km/h and only S should be touched by flashing?

what speed can it maintain at 50% battery on flat ground with the new firmware that you just created and the gen 1 motor?
Anything below 80% on my gen 1 it goes down to 15/16 mph. The only way to maintain speed for longer is to get gen 2

I did this with my es1 but it only goes in 23 when the speed limit is like 32
I do not have a es1 to test, but have you used the correct profile for your scooter when flashing?

@@catgirlow I ended up doing a 48v mod. I literally broke my spine and impaled myself popping a lung into a stationary trailer. I got 3 burst vertebrae, but walked out of hospital in 4 days. Scooter hack utility and its own built in custom firmware did the job. Using the website cause the scooter to stall with the mod. Don't worry I'm fine, my pain tolerance is massive and the pain in my spine is barely noticeable for me. I'm 220lbs though, might of been worse if I was a little fella, lol.

Heey how about warranty? If I hack it, will warranty still work? And one more question. I’ve MAX G30LP. Will it ride faster than 30km/h?
Technically you will be out of warranty as you are modifying the scooter beyond factory specs, however, if your scooter is 25kmh but your regin allows you to have 30kmh, the shop should be able to do this.
In reality, the shop wont really check the software unless you give them good reason.

As I understand it is posibility to reset all my modifications and scooter software must be the same like it was before. And they could not be able to see that it was modified before? I have warranty and bought insurance also because of that it is so important to me and want to know all things 😁 my scooter is 30km/h and in my regin it is legal. So as I understand modifying it can be max 33km/h ? I want that my scooter start runing at 2km/h not at 5km/h and have much more torque from start than it has now. 😉

As long as you change the files back if the scooter has to go in for any repairs it should be fine. But it's very unlikely that they will scheck the software on the scooter.
Unless you have a very picky shop.
As for the new update on the scooter hacking site, I havn't had a look in a good while, however, I do need to do an updated video.
Ninebot flasher told me there was an error and the update failed. What do I do?
Hey. Have you tried changing the name of your scooter and trying again?
Also if you downloaded the latest Ninebot update. This would cause your scooter to not be able to be flashed
How do i factory reset it, or turn it back to normal?
You can flash it to default settings. It will show you in the presets on the CFW.
@@ScootLetsGo Thats not default setting im pretty sure its just called default. it sets the speed to 33kmh which is alot higher than what mine can do

I did the flashing and everything else worked, but i didnt get any more speed.. Its gen1 scooter. 27kmh before flash and 27kmh after flash. Do i need gen2 motor to get that 33kmh?
It should be full charge to reach max speed 32 or 33 kph..80% below will just give you 27 or 28 kph

Full charge i get 27-28kmh. 80% it goes about 25kmh. Gen1 motor. But i think i got more torque 🤔😁
Gen1 motor, you won't get much more than 19mph out of it without upping the voltage.

Richard Skead as far as I know it works just not as good. It will allow you to go a little faster.
Do you know if using the Xiaoflasher app to change region to US can brick the scooter? I don't fancy owning a glorified door stopper 🤦♂️
I’ve used windows and the Xiaoflasher app and have had no problems with any of them. However, some people do experience this issue

Richard Skead if you are referring the the flasher app. You do not need to have this open once it’s been flashed.
I find the app that comes with the scooter useless 😂
Richard Skead my scooter already came with 18mph top speed. This will only really work if you have limit of 15mph.
Gen 2 motor will go a little fast. I am waiting on mine to see the difference.
So just opening the app and unlocking region works just fine with no issues? Or do I need to change the serial number first still?

Hey, so i left the torque as from the factory as I didn't want to get my motor hotter and lose extra range. However, you can play around with the AMPS to see what you find better for you.
@@ScootLetsGo Thank for your answer, me neither, i don't want the motor to be hot, just adjust the torque safely without damaging anything. I don't knoW how much number i can use to get up the torque and still safe for all the things inside the scooter. Thank you
You can use the whole range that you see, it just will get hot over time and could damage. If you want to up the torque. Do it in little increments until you are happy 😊
Hi there! Thanks for ur help, my g30le now goes 33km/h! But I have an issue. It wont charge anymore, at least it doesnt look like its charging. I flashed it with Pc and did the Vanilla thing with the PC also, bit now it only goes 20km/h in S and D mode... can You help me out here? 😅 How can I reset it to 25/20/15 km/h in S, D and Eco mode?

depending on what you did, you may have burnt out the controller. did you turn on the scooter?

@@tomaz62 same to me. We have two new ninebots with 1st gen motor and not hacked. When charging, one is showing it at screen and pulsating rear light, another scooter shows black screen only, but it's charging and working perfectly. I tried update or downgrade software, but same black screen. I heard from other people that this is normal.
@@linkuskarolis Same thing in happening to me. Plug in the charger, hear a beep and then black screen and no pulsating rear light.
After downloading the file. How do you then download the flasher app to connect to the ninebot max?
If your doing it on Windows, then you would download the flasher app from the app store

Unfortunately not. The only way to get more speed is to upgrade the the motor to second generation. I’m deciding if it’s worth the investment.

i did these instructions as you posted and i just tried the scooter out and its still at 25Kph, will i need a full charge as its made no difference
If your charge is below 80% and your on gen 1 motor. It will not go any faster

Same for me, well actually went from 25kmh to 27kmh but I think thats coz i didn’t change the current settings (Torque settings removed in latest update).

Can you make a ninebot max yours that was originally a rental if you buy new mother board and computer
I'm not actually sure on this one. I'm in the UK, and they haven't permitted the use of rental scooters yet. However, I would say that if you purchase them from the rental company, they should come unlocked.

Have you changed the name on the app. I had to, to get it to connect. Was a little frustrating
with the stock battery/motor my top speed still displays as 30kmh after flashing - all regions have their speed set to 35km. does the display diverge from actual speed ?
Camilla Sousa you will only get a top speed of 30Kmh on the gen 1 motor max. You can only really improve the torque. You will have to upgrade battery to 48v and get gen 2 motor for extra speed :)
Well you can just upgrade to gen 2 for extra 3/5kph. Just expensive right now for minimal gains

@@ScootLetsGo Yea so I acutally just ended up using my android tablet. However max speed im getting is around 20-21mph. How can I get up to at least 23-24mph? There is many options that I didnt want to adjust besides the torque/range and speed. Also subscribed bud.

Did you make sure the region was set to America? Also I think results may vary with gen 2 speed.
@@ScootLetsGo yeaaa I tried again putting the km up to 42km and still 22mph is the max output, without me on it. No other option for me to try and get that feature?
I do this with my ninebot es2 and the top speed is only 22 kilomiters and way to make it go full power?

There is a max speed setting which you can push to the top speed for all regions

Yes, just flash stock firmware. You can backup firmware in most apps or find them online.
