I have a question: Why do I have to unhook the battery and controller cable. Why not simply unhook the cable from the rear wheel motor?

Do you happen to know what it means when the blue light on the battery flashes? I cannot get my scooter to turn on so I opened it up to check the connections. The charger turns red for a second then to green when 1st connected then inside the battery LED flashes maybe 10 times then stops. No matter what I do I cannot get the scooter to turn on. Bought this second hand so no warranty to fall back on.

Where can I get a new battery?

Why show the wrong methods? Changing a tire takes 10 minutes without sticking and disassembling. It is easy to install by hand

Adressing everyone with flat tires!!! You can also try to use Slime or some other tire sealant to fix a flat tire. All you have to do is to order the correct one (for tubeless or Tube tires) and fill it in through the valve. It might be able to save you quite some money, stress and workhours of changing the tire!

What makes the sharkset suspension better than the cheap one for the rear? From what i can tell, it comes with regular spring shocks, wouldn't it make more sense to put better shocks on the cheap suspension than spending that money on a sharkset and still ride on regular springs? I would think the ride quality is determined by the shocks themselves, not the fancy brackets that hold it all together. Hoping you could clarify, ty

Surprised you haven't put a second motor and a custom built battery to fit inside the deck. You got the perfect suspension to make that happen. I got a 14S8P battery with two controllers inside mine. With 58V instead of 42, your top speed shoots up, the motors don't work as hard because there are 2 instead of 1 and adding 2 extra parallel cells means you have an extra 28 batteries on top of the higher voltage so the range increases also. Of course, you can keep it at 6 cells in parallel and do 19s6p for an 80v setup, if you're crazy, but your range suffers and who needs to go that fast on a scooter. You already have enough cells for a 13s6p, you're 32 batteries and a motor away from getting it done. You won't have to have an external bag, everything is inside the deck I'd say it's worth it. Only thing left to upgrade at that point is a steering damper, you'll want one of those for sure but not essential. It does take some time to get it done and electrical know how but the videos are all available, it's just a matter of effort for someone like you. The learning alone will also benefit your kid(s) in ways you don't even imagine. A spot welder is a matter of finding an old microwave also, you can rig it up in a day if you just use it for one battery. THINK ABOUT IT
