- How to change your brakes and fix rubbing and squeezing on KQI 3.
In this video, you will be able to see how I changed the brake pads and also fix the scraping noise coming from the brakes. This will generally happen if you have changed the tire.

Yeah I tried to use them. But it wasn’t as easy for me. So good old filing pinch and push in haha

Great video, thank you for sharing. Have you had the rotors bent or damaged? My son managed to and my first instinct was to bend (slightly back). I have not seen any rotor replacement info out there (not sure if it's a standard 'lug' pattern and/or size?). Thanks again!

My kqi3 max pads are not like that ,they are rectangular i go to the oficial niu site and they only have those circular ones i am lost

I see that the tire is a little bent or the wheel is not very well centered? Isn't this the first time I've seen this on a Niu? This is how all Niu come? with wheels like this?
I am trying to adjust the angel of my KQI3 pro brake levers, but the levers appear to be locked in place, even though there is clearly a 5mm hex screw ... no matter how hard we tried we can't turn it. Anyone tried ?

I’m looking to change the break rotor out, I thought this was gonna cover that. Dang.
On mine, the screw is on there so tight, I think it is stripped now from trying to turn it
My back wheel gets stuck when riding 😔 I’m try to fix it hopefully it’s the breaks

Hey so basically my niu i3 is making weird noises when i put load my younger sister tried it its totally fine when she stands on it but when i ride it happens
Hello. This could be a weight issue. The scooter is only really rated to take 100kg. It will take more. But you’ll find as the weight is higher it makes the alignment mess up a little. Try higher pressure in your tires of around 50psi. If this does not work. Please give me more details.

I would say this scooter is water proof enough for most people. If you start adding more silicone etc to try and keep out large amounts of water. When you come to fix anything that may go wrong. It’s going to be a nightmare to fix.

I find the Niu design to not be user friendly for user maintenance such as changing tires or replacing brake pads.
Most brake callipers are this design. I agree that aesthetics take a huge part in the creation of any scooter which meals you sacrifice repairability
