I saw Stewart several times over a period of maybe 10 years. Fantastic every time. I got to meet him after a gig in Cambridge, and I remember swimming back to shore thinking...
Two out of three ain't bad as someone once said. I agree with the first two traits but there's not really much unique about him when several others do the same and if his type of comedy even has a particular pigeon-hole subheading (as in one-liners) then that probably tells you that it's not really unique. Very little is original or unique these days and just really a rehash or tweak or some else that's already been done. There was nothing new under the moon, same old dance, same old tune.
Jamie W vine is shallow compared to this'. This guy went out on the clubs to make it work. Not just 10 second clips at home being white and pretentious
Adam Farrell hmmm Tim repeats most of his as well. In the past comedians would have one act that they perfected in clubs and on tour over years. Now with tv and the internet that's virtually impossible so comedians are moving to the more storytelling and observational humour style.
I’ve seen Stewart Francis twice and he’s great. From a small town in Hampshire England called Aldershot. His warm up is great too.. she’s also from Canada my mums home country 🇨🇦... some of the best comedians are from Canada. My favourite comedy actors Jim Carey and Michael myres too are some of my favourite
I got all but one joke in this act and the one I didn't get fully was this one. After reading your comment a few times and replaying this particular part in the video, and thinking it over a few times, I found myself spitting beer all over my keyboard, through my nose when I got it. Thank you, I guess. ;)
Seen him live... he seems much more nervous in this video. I remember being slightly intimidated. He's a surprisingly big dude in real life and LOUD. When there's no camera on him he bellows out like he owns the place. This is actually some of the stuff I saw him do, so this is a memory jogger. Funny fella.
The amount of comedians that spend ages with a big story building up to a punchline................and yet this guy is so natural, just rolling off joke after joke- priceless!!!!!
At first I was afraid, I was petrified. Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side. I spent so many nights thinking about how you did me wrong. And I grew strong and learned how to get along.
This is an absolutely perfect comedy set, style, material, delivery, character. Absolutely perfect
My father took me to see Stewart Francis live at the Apollo, and I remember swimming back to shore thinking...
.... watching Stewart Francis is a bit like fishing.
黃健毅 YO eight year response
@@dank_frank2580 one-liners don't get old ^_^

I remember meeting Stewart Francis' dad! Nice fellow! Taught me how to swim! :D
Tony James Gilpin hehe
Do you remember swimming back to shore??
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Did you piss him off and he pushed you in a lake..?
“Well, forced me to learn how to swim. Same difference.”
The King of the one liners. Sharp, intelligent and clean. It can be done.

What about a ring falling in a hookers ass?
Not only are his jokes excellent, but man, his timing is just perfect. I've watched this video again and again and I just can't get enough.
I saw Stewart several times over a period of maybe 10 years. Fantastic every time. I got to meet him after a gig in Cambridge, and I remember swimming back to shore thinking...
I was waiting the entire time for him to repeat that deja vu joke.
Not me - I saw it coming...
Ryan Jordan I feel like he's done that before. But, who knows I suffer from short term memory loss.
thats literally why i watched the rest of the video
He did.
He did the one about amnesia instead
I never get tired of hearing these liners- heard em for almost 10 years now- never gets old. Go Canada!
He is my favourite comedian, and it sucks that many people don't know who he is. He deserves fame.
I love his presentation and stage aura... Appreciate you, Stewart
Love this kind of comedian...... Brilliant.
one liners, harsh little jokes, running gags, i was practically dying of laughter, great guy
It's actually kinda refreshing to listen to a one-liner comedian for a change
Is my Friend
@@justsomewanderingomen3751 I say he was possibly influenced by Rodney Dangerfield, Mitch Hedberg few more
I prefer 1 liners, as I have quite a short attention span.. 👍
Very funny. Very original. Very great find surfing youtube late night.
Daniel Tyler Yeah way better than that other side of youtube.
Daniel Tyler sadly he reuses all of his jokes
History Student every comedian does
Daniel Tyler
Did you ever watch Ted Koppel, late?
Absolutely brilliance ... These one liners are the sort that can be brought back around and still sound fresh.
His jokes require you to think a little, but once you do you realize they are hilarious.
Absolute genius. Could listen to him all day.
Don't know how he didn't think about saying, "You've been Great, Britain!"
aaronsterling1204 LOOOOOOL

he reminds me of a comedian that was on the Titanic, he was a one liner as well.... :oP
His jokes went down well!

Couldn't earn enough to keep his head above water.
The sinking man's comedian. Deep comedy.
Hes on par with tim vine for good one liners, corny at times, but thats what makes him good too. well thought up lines.
He's way better than tim vine!

Saw him last night supporting Ricky Gervais but I've been a fan since I saw him on Mock the Week. Genius one liners. More please Mr. Francis :)
The Richard n Judy quip was divine use of a 'wicked sense of humour' Bravo 😂👏
Besides that, this guy's infinitely more amusing than Tim Vine.
Somehow just looking at him, I knew he was going to be funny. He is excellent.
😂stop it with the swimming revolving joke! My freakin ribs hurt of laughter
This is incredibly funny. I tell these jokes at work. Over and over...
