"Rise of the Decayed" is my third SAURIA film. It combines four of my absolute favorite things; nature, dinosaurs, horror films, and HP. Lovecraft.
I was actually a little worried what people would think of this installment but the response has been fantastically postive. Thank you all! Hope you guys enjoy watching the film as much as I enjoyed making it! :D

I know that this will conclude the initial burst of films you had planned, but please do not stop working on this world. It’s such a great concept and you have done an amazing job getting us invested in this world. From war, wildlife, and magic, you truly created something special
Edit: I should clarify that you shouldn’t abandon this world, not that I want you to work it to death. I don’t care if it’s further animations, lore videos, or even you just brainstorming your thoughts on sauria. It’s such a fantastic setting that I’d be happy with just about anything. But, of course, do not force something if it’s not there. If you feel comfortable with ending the world of sauria here I’d be a little sad but happy that you got to share this world with us.
Whatever you end up doing, please know that we will support you

Sauria could easily become a long running series like Autodale. Also David could make a killing merchandising his animations with stuff like posters, stickers, miniatures, figurines, mouse pads, and art books. A lot of folks would wand to decorate there place with a figurine of an Eldritch dinosaur god.

It was an immense pleasure and honor to write music for Taurox, Ornithecera and Helionyx; The Bluesong, The Fell, and The Kindred of the Tusk. I still remember when you first told me about the factions, locations, and concepts, it's amazing to see that vision come true in such a spectacular way. The real horror of these higher beings is how they view us.
We, whether we want to or not, define ourselves the way others view us. If a general sees us as a pawn it's hard not to view ourselves as that.
When confronted by this intelligence, this powerful entity that sees us as insignificant specks, we take on that identity, lessening our own sense of being from simply being observed. The moment we believe it is when we doom ourselves to be unable to rise above it, defeated with the very acknowledgement of own our existence in their eyes.
      .............
"Hell is other people." On my own I see myself fully, knowing all my aspects of being, acknowledging I am human. In the passing gaze of another I am held as an object, simply a obstacle, a tool? My worth determined by our meeting.
As you may judge me as an annoyance, I observe you as a small mirror being held to me, knowing only my surface. Neither of us seeing or valuing the other as we do ourselves.
With a crowd of strangers I feel no more alive then a awkward piece of furniture, while being berated by a superior I am a stain on the floor. In the arms of the wife who knows me as I do myself I feel whole.
In the eyes of a predator, I am simply prey.
      ..........
That 2nd piece was my own piece of writing inspired by Sartre who wrote "Hell is other people" who tired to point out how we are bound by people's judgements of us.
I enjoy philosophy and writing so I just wrote it now as inspiration struck. Hope you enjoyed it.

Amazingly horrifying and beautiful as usual! I love when magic is an mysterious and ancient power, not a common thing, and this fits that so well.
Upon a second watch, I realized what the chief is saying is not just that he's been possessed, but that the god easily broke his mind, but is using actual effort to make him keep his will. It was hard to tell the first time, but he is speaking as himself, not the god, simply for its amusement. I'm guessing the reason his hand has the second small eye, is because that is his old mind while the large is the god's. It also links up to the two circular landforms of the map at 7:58 which is interesting.

I can't remember the name of the adventure (I wanna say "Valley of the Dead"), but I play a solo campaign; I'm a high elf ranger with a war horse, a wolf, and an NPC human wizard bestie.
The gist of the adventure is that a Black Dragon necromancer has taken residence in a valley, and is reanimating the fossilized dinosaurs to use as her army to take over the world. You (and your party if you have one) are going to stop her conquest.
When I played it, I used "Animal Friendship" on an Allosaurus, named him Big Al, and then rode him at 4x my normal speed as my NPC party and I killed dinos! I had to modify the (legendary) boss fight a little, since I'm the only player, but after I won the fight, I found the dragon's lair-- and her egg, ready to hatch!
So now I have a cute baby, ankle biting black dragon friend named Obsidia! I use the stats for a typical baby black dragon, and have added her normal dragon magic as sorcerer class features. She tries to be helpful, but really, she just wants people to give her shiny coins!

Eventually, they sank into the primordial soup, and faced an elder god, the embodiment of the Last Universal Common Ancestor (LUCA).

I like how their god is basically the devil from Dinosaurs Attack. Good call back. I had the whole set when I was young...

Wow, wow, just WOW! The third and final film of this wonderful series was so awesome to watch! The concept of being dead, but technically still alive while also being controlled is a scary but oddly entertaining one. Not only that, but pairing it with dinosaurs and just an all around horror aura in general made it that much cooler. The worldbuilding, characters, concept and overall unfolding of SAURIA has been amazing to see. Wonderful job on all three films, truly fantastic!!

You know, Eldritch Horror was not exactly where I was expecting Sauria to go, but I really like it!

Absolutely amazing film, I love how the incorporation of magic was done as something forbidden and cursed, really unnerving film.
