i have a 3m LITTMANN Classic III Stethoscope *RASPBERRY/RAINBOW* brought recently from USA just a month back but it get stained with blue ink may be of carbon paper during my work. how should i remove the stain from my raspberry colour pipe..without any damages......??? that blue stain is annoying me! :( auscultation all great!!!

What's the best way to clean your stethoscope to keep it's longevity?
I noticed oil where the stem goes into the chestpiece. Is this normal? Is it there to reduce friction when rotating the tube?
