Dang It!!! I tried to resist getting this new pressure cooker with a temperature probe but your video has now caused me to push the “buy now” button. I want to be able to cook my proteins and lots more using the probe. It’s a game changer. I had a st paddy get together and cooked two corn beef. They weighed about a half a pound different butcher one of them came out perfectly and the other was underdone. So. No more of that. As always, thanks so much John. Hope you and yours are doing well. Life is good. And so are your videos.
I initially purchased the one without the temp probe - saving money I thought. Went after a couple of months and purchased the one with the probe. You are so right !!! Love the magnet hack. Will be doing that tomorrow. Thank you.
Dang John!!! You pulled out the big dog!!! I just got the 8.5 quart. Watching you to see how to use it. Now you break out the big guns!!! Man I love your videos!!!! 👍🏾👍🏾
Watching your video made me order my magnets while waiting on the cooker to arrive. I just got it today and man is it a bit beauty. Already did the water test and I’m eager to cook a meal. Thanks for the great tips and reviews.
Thank you, John! You’re a whizz-bang with this Ninja Foodi 👍🏻 You save us time and money by graciously sharing wish us here. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Karen in VA
We just got our Ninja Foodi. We got the non thermometer one for $200 at BB&B. Can't find it for under $350 with the thermometer. I'll just live with guessing and opening it and using my thermometer.
Well I tried it today and the meat turned out kinda "spongy" to me. I set it for 190 degrees as well. It was a little larger piece of meat though. That might have been the issue. Anyway, I broke it apart and put it in the fridge covered to see if it would "dry/firm" up some. I'll check tomorrow. Anyway, I'm still learning this thing! I have ALWAYS done my BBQ on my Smoker (that I bought thanks to you again and LOVE it!) Hopefully it'll be better tomorrow. I'll check after church and report back.
Great video. I know Ninja has a lot of options. If you can only have one and I know they do different things. This one, the ninja foodi grill griddle or the ninja toaster over with all features with the thermometer
I would like to have seen what the temperature was on a instantly meat thermometer vs Ninja's? I have heard that the ninjas thermometer is up to 20° warmer than a meat thermometer would be..
Hi John, I have my ninja pc with the built in thermometer now and love it. But I can’t find many videos showing foods that use the thermometer. So… can you give me an idea of how to do a corned beef under pressure. Like on low ? Or high? And for about how long and to what temp? And natural release? Love to see you do a few cuts of beef like eye of round or sirloin tip roasts. Anyway, thanks for listening and I’m excited to get started. I did a top round on 350’with the probe set to 115. It came out tough and overdone. Anyway thanks and I understand if you can’t get to this. Just thought I’d ask. 😁
Another great video, amazing how quick pulled pork came out. Takes 16hrs in my smoker. Though, I will not do a pork butt or a rack of ribs in a pressure cooker unless in a bind. Got to leave the fat cap on when smoking as it is part of the taste/oil when barked up and shredded. Use a bear claw for shredding. If you need to add smoke, Breville has a smoke infuser that does a great job than artificial smoke flavoring. Coleslaw missing. Your making me hungry.
Not that I'm aware of but might be something that should be researched... more especially and depending on exactly where you are planning to place them...
When you pressure cook do you control the cook temperature,or is just a low or high setting? What temp. did you cook this at if that if there is a setting you for this? It's surprising how many people don't go by the internal temperature of meat when cooking.
John, thanks for clearly describing the capabilities of this unit. I was on the fence for a long time when looking at the Foodi Grill - the deciding factor was the temp probe. So when I went for a sheet pan air fryer the Smart Dual teat Air Fryer w/sear plate and temp probe again was the critical deciding factor. I'm now looking at this pressure cooker mainly for the steam/crisp and steam/back functions and that temp probe is the reason I drop the money. I love all three and find they each have their niche. Ninja rocks with their constant innovation but with this unit I'll be at my max for a while. For those who own the LO701 - what would be the minimum height for the unit with the lid fully opened? Thanks.
Looks great! I just smoked a 7 pound pork butt today that I finished in my old model Ninja. Pressure cooked an additional 45 minutes and air crisped. Was great. Would be easier with the new model.
Hi John you said at the beginning of the video that it was the 14 in 1 but I understood the only one to have the probe is the 15 in 1 but I am in the uk so maybe it’s different in the United States. I have the 15 in 1 and I love it.
@@JohnSanders I know you have both models,I would also like to thank you for the tip with the magnets as it drives me mad how many times it has fallen off so thank you very much i am now on amazon looking for magnets!

The magnet works really well and I think you made a wise decision with the one with the
Temp probe...
Let's just say that you have a magnetic personality!
Thank you...
Great tip with the magnets!
Here comes one of my favorite RUclipsrs, Jelly007!
Thank you!!
It is not an overstatement to say that this machine changed my life.
Mine too!!!
I don't know about everybody else, but I think you help my high blood pressure.

Great fix. What size diameter are the magnets?
Pulled pork OMG dam love pulled pork with a good BBQ sauce
It looks and sounds great but can it do a roast pork with really crispy crackling?
NINJA should pay you for the magnet idea.
So which one would you recommend to purchase that is better: The Ninja Foodie Smart Lid or the Ninja Speedi?
If you like to pressure cook the smart lid with the thermometer... without a doubt.
I just bought the 11 in 1 version of this. I dont make bread so dont need the most expensive one, can't wait until i get it delivered.
Thank you, John!

Thanks Karen in VA... glad I help!!!
Is there a benefit to skipping the rest period while it is still in the cooker? How about to shredding it while hot?
Great idea with the magnets 🧲

Thanks for a very helpful video. You always do such a good job of explaining everything in detail.
What a great fix John. I used the 701 for the first time yesterday and was wondering how to fix the overflow cup. Brilliant!
Excellent video once again! I will be trying this tomorrow! I have this same Ninja with the probe and LOVE IT! Thank you for making these videos!

Sweet delicious heaven 👍 just got one on a black Friday sale on Amazon! Can't wait to try this recipe 😋
Looks delicious 🤤 I don’t have the probe with mines so do I have to purchased one r I can cook it without the probe
I wonder how long these cookers will last, I imagine velcro might work in stead of the magnet
the juices must go back in the pulled pork. all the flavors are there.
Please do a video on how to make beef bone broth ninja foodi. Thanks
Thanks for the trick to keep the cup from coming out. I have had the same problem.
Where did you find the list of temperatures?
What did you use to attach the magnets? Maybe I missed it, but I didn't catch you mentioning that.
They have a him back sticker that comes on them... you just peel off the protector.
Is that a 6.5 or 8 q version?
8 qt
Ok keep em coming😀😋

Will strong magnets abuse a problem with thr cooker’s electronics?

New to your channel was wondering if this better then the instant pot cooker with air fryer so many choices and does the same things thank u
Pretty much the same but this one has a programmable thermometer that will shut off device when temp is reached
oh my gosh looks great..gotta try it like real soon. ty :)

I think I need one of those!
What type of pickle on your sammmie? Dill?
Yes... the only kind I use on bbq...I think they were Mt Olive brand...
Very similar way that I've done my pulled pork/chicken in the ninja. Just never done it on low.
That was first time using low too...thanks for watching!!
This looks fantastic! Many thanks John!
I've looked on Amazon but there are so many different cookers. What exactly is the name of this pressure cooker with the thermometer probe? Thanks.
It is a Ninja Foodi Smartlid... probably best to look on Ninja's website and make sure it is the one with the thermometer
@@JohnSanders I found it. Thanks!
Absolutely amazing! I love porn porn and it’s very expensive to buy in the store anymore. This will be my next weekend project
Well...OK then Glenda...lol...I hate spell correct too...lol... thanks for watching!
🤣🤣🤣
No pork please
We all want,pork,beef,corned beef.
Thanks!
I just saw this...I didn't know how to access it but thank you very very much!!!
