    David Gilmour is one of my idols, so I never get bored when people analyze his playing; technically its simple but there’s no guitarist that play such beautiful solos in easy scales

    Great tips thanks a lot! I use a zoom G1xOn that does have a pitch shift but the resulting tone is way too "treble" when pedal goes all the way down and doesn't sound very good. Still didn't figure out the right sequence for the effects...

      I have an old Korg multi effect pedal with pitch shifting as well that sounded really trebly. Your pedal might sound better in an actual mix over backing track however. That high pitch octave sweep even with the Digitech still sound rather unnatural on its own.

    hi and thanks for your tutorial.
    In this solo, Gilmour has, in my opinion, complex timing, and the more complex the timing, the more unusual the phrases sound. I would like to hear your opinion on this matter
