Very very good men!!!! Thank you very much!!! Regards from Argentina!!!
Sure thing Sebastian! Thanks for checking it out!
I would totally love to see the following PF lessons:

2. Sorrow
3. Learning to fly
4. Money
5. High hopes with the main solo for an electric guitar maybe? :)
thx!
Maciej Kecki totally agree would love that
Brilliant 👏 cool
Chief papastache has blessed us this holiday season with another awesome pick floyd tutorial
Haha!
Finally I finished this solo. Thankyou for uploading this tutorial and all the others. It is so helpful for us amateurs.
Sure thing!
Thank you, Papa Stache! I’ve been a lifelong Pink Floyd fan, but it has rooted itself deeper and deeper lately. Gilmour’s phrasing is powerful; he does so much with so little and at times his strumming patterns are so unconventional that it could sound like he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Except he’s never off. Or wrong.
Just sub’d, btw.
Thanks for the sub! Glad you liked the video!
As an addendum, I should have asked; am I too old, is it too late? Because I’d love to see someone explain how he pulls off the intro to Sorrow, from Pulse.
Fantastic Video. Very useful for the beginers than me. Tank you so much and sorry about my english.
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Yes, yes, yes, finally. Best band ever. Love you too Brett. It doesn’t get any better than Brett teaching some Pink Floyd. Division Bell album kept me going for years learning songs on guitar. Genius songwriting and soloing. I also recommend teaching the last song on Momentary Lapse of Reason “Sorrow”. Love that song too. Ok, time to pick up guitar and play along with you. Live long and prosper Papastache (or I guess Papabeard now, lol).
Haha! Yep I think that one is next on my list. I plan on doing a big chunk of Division Bell too. I love that album!
papastache102 SWEET! Please, please please do “Marooned”. Best instrumental guitar song ever. I’ve tried to learn that so many times. He makes the whammy pedal so musical. Gilmour is just amazing. He’s my biggest inspiration and influence on guitar. You are the best teacher I’ve ever had and own everything you’ve put out. I owe most of my ability and skill to you and your amazing teaching ability. I’ll be practicing this song and watching and waiting breathlessly for more Floyd in the future.
plz teach sorrow from pink floyd,,,thank u.
Marooned. Indeed.

Thank you so much for this fantastic tutorial. I've only been playing since August 2019 and I found this fairly easy to grasp. Easy to perfect? Obviously not. But easy to learn the bends, changes and pull-off's in the outro guitar solo. Thanks again! :)

Yeah that's a good one.
Again another stellar Floyd copy ..thank you
Thanks for checking it out!
You just gained about 2 mil views from me. I'm gonna eat up these Floyd videos.
+Hvac103 Haha! Sweet!
This looks incredibly easy but all the little nuances to get it right make it insanely difficult. Great song to have in any Guitarists bag of tricks!
Yep Gilmour is the king of feel!
Thank you...more Floyd....Have a cigar
+Michael D Yep been thinking about that one.
Can u explain and go over how you're getting his tone...pedals etc...thanks Brett.
You know I can't remember unfortunately. Sorry!
@@BrettPapa understood...I sometimes don't remember stuff from yesterday...ha!
Great lesson and lovely strat, I’m jealous !!
Thanks! I wish it was mine!
fingler lol. awesome vid~ glad you went over the timing for us rythmically challenged
thanks for checking it out!
Love your humor. "I just know it last for a half hour." "Just go get a cup of coffee".
Haha!
@@BrettPapa I also want you to know that you do a great job explaining your guitar lessons. Love your enthusiasm and honesty. And the humor. You are my go to guitar lesson man. Thanks!
yeah man! Pink Floyd is so great!
Yes they are!
love your sound m8
Thank ya! Thanks for watching.
If I listen to the 'Delicate SOT' live version I hear Gilmour play the first 3 electric guitar chords like this: Em|D|C where he uses open B and E strings during the 'C-chord'. So he plays X35500 instead of a regular C-chord (332010). I think he does the same on the next sequence: Em|D|A, where the A is played like X02200.
Such a great album!!!!
Nice Acoustic Bro !!! I need to get one so bad !
TY Pops !!! 😆
Thanks! Thanks for checking it out!
Great Strat and tone!
+Raymond Landes Figured you might like it ;)

I really like your work, I follow you here,
I would like to know if it is possible to subtitle this video and others in Portuguese, to be able to assimilate better, thank you.
I'll check into that!
Damn you, Brett, I am just gonna have to go buy myself a Strat now....
+1111MJR They are good to have around!
YES PINK FLOYD!
Hi Papastache102 from Sicily, Great lesson e really complete!!! Can you make "on an island" solos tutorial??? I follow all your vidoes. Great job!!!
I've been thinking about doing that one. Floyd coming in Feb. Thanks for watching!
Great lesson! And also amazing tone!!! What pedals/ effects did you use
Thanks Agas. Honestly I don't recall. A lot of times I just plug straight in and the add a touch of verb and delay.
Hey Brett, what's the story behind the Strat you are using in this video? It looks pretty worn. And the head stock logo looks like it's been sanded off. Or messed with.
hi bret, great lesson, is the any chance you could do a lesson for Take it back from pink floyd?
Yeah, I plan to soon. A bunch of Floyd coming soon!
Got most of Floyds pretty much covered, would love to see a full tutorial of "Dogs" the guitar work on that rather long tune is incredible, also i havent come across any tutorials for Another brick in the wall part 1, i learnt that as a kid but 30 years on and i have totally forgot how to play it. PLEASE HELP. :)
Good suggestions. I'll see what I can do.
Great lesson brother...more Gilmour god of tone please!!!
For sure!
Thanx bro!.. Love urs AND Marty's vids crank it up papa! Long time follower oqe it all to you two.. And ill mention Bobby Crispy from Toronto on the sabbath!
Thanks for checking us out!
Damn your smooth !! luv your videos , Thx again bro
Thanks! Thanks fir checking out the vids!
Amazing to me that your guitar stays in tune with that stock string retainer and those extra string wraps around the tuner posts, all no no`s to me, yet it works great for you and sounds fabulous. Do you use some thing special on the nut, graphite or some lube, maybe the tremolo block or saddles. I love to play a stock strat, with out a locking tremolo if it will stay in tune. How high is your string action?
Nope, all stock. Well actually there is only 2 springs in back. Other than that nothing special. All those things you mentioned would help as well though. Action is low with 9 gauge strings.
Hi. What kind of bridge pickup are you using on your strat?
Hello! You know I don't know on that one that Strat was my buddies.
Hey! The tone is great on here. What's your signal chain and how do you have that Friedman set?
Thanks! Straight into the head on channel 2. Everything is on about 6 and the gain is up pretty good. I have a Strymon Flint verb and an Echo Park delay.
watch you all the time!! can you do a little CURE. Whats Robert Smiths technics. open tuning or what. He has an unusual strum.
thanx love you and happy thanksgiving. Joseph.
Hmmmm, never thought about them. I'll have to check some out.
Brit Floyd March 31 if Ontario doesn't lock down again
Awesome lesson! New guitar?? sounds great!
Thanks! I wish, it's my buddy's. He did offer to sell it to me though. Thinking hard about it! Thanks for watching!
What decision are you most likely to regret, buying it or not buying it? Buy the guitar! It's a business expense; you need a wammy bar guitar. Your wife will understand.
OK, Awesome lesson as usual, but now I have another problem; up until today I had decided I like your Divided by 13 a little more than your Friedman (fried man?) but now I'm confused again. If you get a chance I would love to hear the Dirty Shirley or even Buxom Boost in front of the Div by 13. Or would that be treading on toes?
+Slowpoke Haha, don’t think anyone would mind. I’ll have to see if I can borrow those pedals again from the boys at Friedman.
Thanks you i like
Thanks!
you are a fucking legend man just the video i wanted.
sorry for cursing, but pleaseeeeeeeeee can you do a "sheep" tutorial for lead guitar? also a bunch of other pink floyd songs like breathe, atom heart mother (guitar part ofc), brain damage and eclipse, childhood's end, HAVE A CIGAR!!!!!, learning to fly, pigs, what do you want from me, keep talking... well, all of the pink floyd songs :))))
Haha, I know they have so many good tunes. I’m on it. Coming soon!
i
PapaGilmour!!!
do like your funny style, dude.
we like the very same musics, hahahaha.
cheers from Brazil
Haha! Thanks for watching!
nice plant
Wearing the inside out
May I ask what amp are you using? The Friedman on the back?
Friedman Small Box
wich pedal do you use ? Thanks!
Can't remember on that one. Sorry!
Hi papa
Hello!
‘’I dont know the exact count i just know it lasts for half an hour’’ hahahahaha 😂, that’s Gilmore.
Lol!
Theres a mistake, at 23:56 you roll down instead of hitting the high G. Maybe you're basing this off the live DSOT recordings?
It would be great if you could also tell us what pedals you're using.
+glamy24 Just an Echo Park and a Strymon Flint in loop. Gain is from the amp.
Thanks
