Luis: You certainly did! Lol....My son is 34 and I play my Brit Floyd mix all the time on a nice Bluetooth Loudspeaker ....in the bathroom occasionally when taking a soak. He doesn't really like it.....I will keep working on him though! This song: " On The Turning Away" has become one of my more favorites this past year. Edo Scordo does a great job on the lead on this one. Exceptional job I think!
Edo Scordo is an absolute professional guitar player for a young man I’ve been to many Floyd concerts over the last 30 years and when I see this guy play I was blown away
Unbelievable music. And Brit and the whole band are amazing together. It gives me goosebumps just listening to this classic. Greetings Sydney Australia ❤
I admit I'm a die-hard Pink Floyd fan, I've been listening to the music since I was 13, so 47 years. I haven't heard a better group than Brit Floyd who are able to cover the original so well and still bring their own style to it. Keep it up!! You guys are really great.
Because it's not about heart and soul anymore, it's about money and how much they can make from the music. I saw Floyd in 94, tickets were $65. Tickets for U2's upcoming show START at $400.
I have seen Brit Floyd 8 times. The last time was just last week 4/7/22. Each Pink Floyd melody they recreate takes me to a different and awesome place...On The Turning Away is my favorite.
Just saw them Sunday in Elmira. 11th time so far. Kinda had a post concert depression thing going on yesterday. Have not had that since was a Kid. You look forward to something real bad, and it comes and goes and you`re left waiting for the next Concert which may never come. These Guys and Gals are awesome, hard working, talented Musicians.
Я русский и долгое время не знал перевода текста этой песни. Но даже тогда 25 лет назад она брала меня за душу. Совсем недавно я прочел перевод этой песни. И не сколько не удивился глубокому смыслу ее слов на английском. Всем мира и добра.
Whoever is a fan of Brit Floyd happy holidays to all 50 states and overseas and please be safe out there. This is one of many favorites songs from Brit Floyd.
This Is Really, Really, Fuckin' Brilliant! they did everything PERFECT Sound,Timing, vocals, and super clean and this guy with the solo is the best part ,,,,,good job guys!
I saw them live in April '23, going again Nov 4 in Philadelphia. You really have to see them live to get the full experience. All the timing and musicianship of course, but the POWER of the music when they play live is incredible... these really are modern masterpieces that show what modern instruments and amplification can do in the proper hands. Also, the backing vocalists change a bit over time, but they are always phenomenal, and my favorite parts when the guitar solo is soaring and the girls are backing it, like here, and the solo in Not Now John from Final Cut.
I just love this rendition, even better than the original! All due respect to David Gilmour and Pink Floyd. The tones out of Edo Scordo"s guitar were just unbelievably wonderful! ❤
The guitarist on the red strat is amazing. Probably the first musician that reminds me of a young David Gilmour in the way he handles and plays the guitar. Fantastic stuff.
I used to struggle with all the Floyd tribute bands that are around but I’ve come to think about it in the same way as an orchestra playing a symphony by Beethoven or Mozart. These are classic songs that will stand the test of time long after we’re all gone. This interpretation is spot on. Very well played and if these guys are ever on tour in my town I’ll be going. Great stuff.
This song sends shivers down my spine with its powerful message.... Suffering all over the world, so sad that no one should ever live in poverty.... thus, this cover is absolutely spot on and the guitarist is just phenomenal
I've seen Brit Floyd ten times since 2013. (Would have been 11 by now had the virus not canceled everyone's tours). But Edo's solo on this song at the Nashville show in August 2018 was transcendent. Truly magical. I was moved.
Matt Hayes Vinyl: Agree., ....All DUE respect to the original, but I've grown to like Brit Floyd's version better actually Edo Scordo does a magnificent job here on the lead in my opinion. Of course, Damien Darlington has always been a stickler for details through Brit Floyd's history. The Aussies' are fantastic too, but I think Brit Floyd has taken the music of Pink Floyd to another level! Much respect for this wonderful band and background singers as well!
Absolutely beautiful. The only thing that got me through a terrible, extremely abusive childhood. Thank you Pink Floyd. Brit Floyd what a beautiful precise band.
If anyone here has not been to a Brit Floyd concert.....DO NOT pass the chance if you can make one. Saw them in Seattle 2016; They are AMAZING! Closest thing to Floyd other than the real McCoy.
This is a very very accurate cover! It sounds very close to the delicate sound of thunder concert version, if I didn't know this was a cover band I'd be sold it was Pink Floyd performing it.
What a beautiful song! Full of emotion and feeling. Edo Scordo is absolutely spot on this solo. What a very talented guitarist! I mean he makes the guitar talk. Another great song by the most technically accurate Pink Floyd Cover Bands ever. That is Brit Floyd. I mean sometimes I can't believe my ears with this band. It's like they breathe new life into these old classis songs and it feels like the first time you've heard them. Just amazing..
Attended a concert for them in Manchester at Bridgewater hall a few years back before moving to Scotland.. was very good concert and I did enjoyed alot
I remember being a stoned teenager in 1987 when this song was released. I was as much a floyd fan as any kid ever and I was blown away by it. Live during the DST tour it was incredible and honestly this is as good as the orginial. This band is fucking phenomenal... PIGS is insane!!
The reincarnation of Pink Floyd. I have seen them playing live twice. The videos of the concerts can only show small impressions of that when being live in front of the stage.
The look Damien gave to Edo when he messed up that guitar part is priceless! 😂 he expects nothing short of perfection and that is why they are the greatest Pink Floyd tribute.
How can anyone give this the thumbs down. Completely beyond me. The best Pink Floyd tribute band around who are as authentic as they can get. Just be thankful thumbs downers that such talented musicians exist to keep such great music alive for the young.
Saw this band in Dallas, Tx. ( Irving ). Went in with little expectations. After all..who could do pink floyd justice. I tell you who. This band. I left in awe of this band.
An excellent band, not ever seeing the original Pink Floyd, Brit Floyd from my perspective is the best band to cover Pink Floyd ever. I've wondered why they haven't purchased the Pink Floyd rights and changed their name. THE BEST BY FAR.
This is by far the best representation I have heard from any Pink Floyd tribute band. From the vocals, lead guitar to the mixing of the sound is excellent! (in other words, everything). The high resolution, lighting and camera work, all makes a great presentation. What a superior job done beyond well done.
They use the bands props too. My dad took me to see Brit and when the pig swung out I thought I was seeing shit lol He told me they got the bands props for their shows and how that’s kinda an unofficial endorsement. Brit travels world wide, I saw them in the states
seen Brit Floyd in Madrid it was the best that i will everrr ever see to seeing the real Floyd, my dad has seen pink floyd 4 times and he was blown away
J uelaften101: Indeed . I actually like this version better than Pink Floyd's. All due respect to the original of course....I've seen Brit Floyd three times and plan on seeing them yet again! The Greatest Ttibute Band in the history of music! Go see them!!!
I got into Floyd too late to see them in their prime, but seeing Brit Floyd about 8 years ago took much of the sting out of that error. With Gilmour and Waters nearly mortal enemies and Richard Wright gone to that great gig in the sky, the reality is this is probably the closest you can get to hearing live 'Floyd' performed at the highest level. One notable thing is there was never a moment where the 'this is a cover band' vibe intruded; it was an EXCELLENT band doing Pink Floyd music so faithfully to the recorded versions that it was likely closer than Pink Floyd would have gotten to it in their heyday. Wholeheartedly recommend them to those who want to hear live Pink Floyd music performed with talent, skill and respect for the material. David Gilmour having them perform at his birthday should be all it takes to convince the doubters that this band is worthy of the material.
My son is 22 he's into hip hop and all that jazz... I got him into pink floyd and now he loves them.... I did my job as a father....
Great job!
It wasn't a job... was a mission! 😎
Well done
Luis: You certainly did! Lol....My son is 34 and I play my Brit Floyd mix all the time on a nice Bluetooth Loudspeaker ....in the bathroom occasionally when taking a soak. He doesn't really like it.....I will keep working on him though! This song: " On The Turning Away" has become one of my more favorites this past year. Edo Scordo does a great job on the lead on this one. Exceptional job I think!
Luis: Congrats to the musical education.
Stratocaster the most beautiful instrument in the universe. Great guitarist right in here.
Seriously the best cover of this song anywhere
The guitarist tapped in to the Gilmore vibe throughout that's why it was so good
Edo Scordo
Guitars always get the attention for anything Floyd related, but holy shit this guy nails the vocals.
Edo Scordo is an absolute professional guitar player for a young man I’ve been to many Floyd concerts over the last 30 years and when I see this guy play I was blown away
True!
COULDN'T AGREE MORE
Unbelievable music. And Brit and the whole band are amazing together. It gives me goosebumps just listening to this classic.
Greetings Sydney Australia ❤
This should have at least 100M views.
I admit I'm a die-hard Pink Floyd fan, I've been listening to the music since I was 13, so 47 years. I haven't heard a better group than Brit Floyd who are able to cover the original so well and still bring their own style to it. Keep it up!! You guys are really great.
I agree!
I’m also 60 and would of said the exact same thing, bravo Peter 😊
True
Gratidão
We saw Brit Floyd in August of 2022, going to see them again this year. What an incredible tribute band.
Over the years this has become my favorite Floyd song.
Why doesn't music have heart , soul ,and meaning like this anymore. Thank you for all the great music pink Floyd you are legends
Because it's not about heart and soul anymore, it's about money and how much they can make from the music. I saw Floyd in 94, tickets were $65. Tickets for U2's upcoming show START at $400.

So glad that this finally landed up on RUclips. One of Floyd's most underrated songs and this version by Brit Floyd is just awesome !
I feel like a lot of pink floyds songs are underrated. Division bell has some freaking awesome riffs and solos.
this guy sings all songs good but not TAKE IT BACK. the black drummer is better. in all they are better now than australian P.F
Wow, You you rightly said!
Subhranil Banerjee wonderful more than awesome
To me this is the most favorite song of Floyd..
This Is Really, Really, Fuckin' Brilliant! they did everything PERFECT Sound,Timing, vocals, and super clean and this guy with the solo is the best part ,,,,,good job guys!
excellent job guys

Might be the best version I've ever heard including the original.

Yes, I arrived at that point a while back. Brit Floyd would have been passed over a year or so ago and now I get immense pleasure from them
I’ve been to 5 of their shows here in Texas. I would like to go to Red Rock Amphitheater to see them.
They coming to Puerto Rico in August, & I am on the turning 60, got to go
Seeing them (Brit Floyd) this Saturday on their 2022 tour.
I'm old enough that I saw the real deal in the 70s. These guys are close enough that I've seen them twice and would go again.
This song sends shivers down my spine with its powerful message.... Suffering all over the world, so sad that no one should ever live in poverty.... thus, this cover is absolutely spot on and the guitarist is just phenomenal
BRIT FLOYD keep PINK FLOYD forever!! Thanks , thanks to the group!!
I've seen Brit Floyd ten times since 2013. (Would have been 11 by now had the virus not canceled everyone's tours). But Edo's solo on this song at the Nashville show in August 2018 was transcendent. Truly magical. I was moved.
This is as close as you'll ever get to seeing pink floyd in concert & I Luv them!!
Of all the PF tribute bands, BritFloyd is the best hands down.
We all together will keep pink floyd alive forever till the last human on earth.
It is imposible to do better, this cover is awesome, my respects
Really amazing take on a very underrated Floyd track. I'd easily put On the Turning Away in my top 10 fav Floyd songs. The melody is just beautiful.
Anyone who underrates On the turning away has either little actual music taste or a Roger prejudice. This track is absolutely a Floyd classic!
Matt Hayes Vinyl: Agree., ....All DUE respect to the original, but I've grown to like Brit Floyd's version better actually Edo Scordo does a magnificent job here on the lead in my opinion. @@wvufreak56 Their 2013 Red Rocks "Dogs" is my favorite song to listen to period. I also prefer their "enhancements" over the original versions.
Absolutely beautiful. The only thing that got me through a terrible, extremely abusive childhood. Thank you Pink Floyd. Brit Floyd what a beautiful precise band.
My growing up was a mess, I feel for you and am thinking of u at night while sharing the same night sky and horizons of hope
best cover i ever seen in my life!!!!
from down under in South Australia.....that was Fantastic. The lead solo made it all the way to the neighbours. WOW!
If anyone here has not been to a Brit Floyd concert.....DO NOT pass the chance if you can make one. Saw them in Seattle 2016; They are AMAZING! Closest thing to Floyd other than the real McCoy.
This gentleman has a wonderful voice .................. And the lead guitar player (red strat) is just awesome.....................
Brit Floyd is awesome! Thank you for sharing God bless everyone during this Easter season and all ways
This is a very very accurate cover! It sounds very close to the delicate sound of thunder concert version, if I didn't know this was a cover band I'd be sold it was Pink Floyd performing it.

WOW!! This sounds so good.....
Melhor banda cover do Pink Floyd disparado!!!
Freaking AWESOME, and the guitar solo was right up there.
This band are just as enjoyable to watch and listen to as the real thing!
light and sound only this makes this planet beautiful.
Brit Floyd is the greatest fan of Pink Floyd!
I would bet that Pink Floyd is also the biggest fan of Brit..... keeping the dream alive ! Amazing piece of music.
The reincarnation of Pink Floyd.
I have seen them playing live twice. The videos of the concerts can only show small impressions of that when being live in front of the stage.

The closest you’ll ever get to seeing Pink Floyd live. Loved every second of their show.
This is the single greatest live performance I have ever seen.
Just amazing !!!!!! Thanks for keeping this song alive. Thanks from Brazil
The look Damien gave to Edo when he messed up that guitar part is priceless! 😂 he expects nothing short of perfection and that is why they are the greatest Pink Floyd tribute.

That solo is mind blowing, despite the small hitch, your forgiven Edo. Superb.
I m a man but this song makes me cry
life s ups and downs and hopes and frustration.this guitar playing. has the power to lead a difficult journey.
the guitar sound and the voices make me float 🪐🎸🌤
An excellent band, not ever seeing the original Pink Floyd, Brit Floyd from my perspective is the best band to cover Pink Floyd ever. I've wondered why they haven't purchased the Pink Floyd rights and changed their name. THE BEST BY FAR.
Not until Sir David Gilmour retires.
Incredible guitarist. Definitely the best cover
Its not enough just to stand, and stare, but that rendition is simply mesmerizing, and if you stand and stare you will be mesmerized.
This is by far the best representation I have heard from any Pink Floyd tribute band. From the vocals, lead guitar to the mixing of the sound is excellent! (in other words, everything).

Says it all. From the cradle to the grave. Thank you, Mr. Brit.
We can close the RUclips now, a cover cannot be better. :) Very nice work guys!
