Tools needed for the mod (unlock) of the speed, besides the scooter itselef:
1. Android Phone
2. XiaoFlasher
3. Bluetooth ON on the mobile device.
Follow the steps in the video for an easy speed unlock of the Segway Ninebot Max.
Also, for Xiaomi you need the same app.
Do take into consideration:
1. You are exposing yourself to possible accidents that can occur at higher speed. This is the most important of them all in my opinion. Even with normal speed of the scooter you should always wear the proper equipment for every ride you take, even if it is a small one or commuting to work. Always wear a helmet!
2. In some countries you have speed limit set to 20km/h. In some countries like America the speed limit should be 30km/h at the time of this review. Going over these speed limits means you can get a speeding ticket that in most cases it’s more than the scooter itself.
3. This is an important one. The scooter’s capabilities set by the manufacture are based on the power of the motor, the weight of the scooter, the rider’s weight, brakes and so on. In the end, the manufacturer built the scooter taking everything into consideration and set up a speed for the scooter.
Once you unlocked a higher speed than it was set for it means the scooter will act different in terms of brakes, range and overall ride experience.

it worked for my NINEBOT F2 and gose 30km/h , that app just modefi the serial number and now the electric scooter this he is an f2 plus model from america, and the original app still works its perfect.
In the app there is no fullspeed zip offered, what do I do?

i dont have an iphone but if i download the app on my computer from bluestacks, could that work? the bluetooth works and everything i just want to see if it would work from downloading the app from my computer and doing it on that?

Payd for the app but says you have to downgrade firmware to change region but every time im trying to downgrade the app disconnects so its useless

I do this in my max gen1 and with full battery go 28 kmh after in 80% battery go 26 km i am 70 kg why not get 30 km?

I have the serial number 9 is it is the V2 M30. Everything is fine up until I hit flash....flasher shows 0% like it's ready then disappears and scooter loses link.

Unless you upgrade to a 25 amp hour battery, it is best not to mess with power output. Also, putting in a higher watt speed controller will just make the wiring and motor run hotter and it simply was not designed with thick enough wires or proper cooling to handle a larger speed controller. I already tried this stuff with ebike kits and melted wires together. I did manage to upgrade the wires though, but then I noticed motor hub getting hot enough to cook an egg.
I am afraid I don't understand. I have not added any other speed controller, it is the original, there's only a mild software change. And because you have tried it on a bike makes no sense as long as this is a speed limitation for different regions, available for electric scooters. Electric scooters are not the same with electric bikes. I think you got the information mixed, this is not meant for any electric bikes, nor did i mention it will work in 100% of the cases. In my case, for my electric scooter, it has worked. ;)

True.. I override the speed until 30kph but then I notice that the motor gets hot than usual.. I used mine until second year but on 3rd year I got error 54. When I opened the wires are melted..

Ciao, io ho un g30 Max LE. Dopo aver modificato il cambio paese, sono ritornato alla vecchia impostazione, però l'app ninebot riconosce il mio monopattino come g30 Max e non come G30 Max LE...

After I changed it to US, it doesnt show the current battery percentage when im charging it. Is that normal? It does charge it but the screen stays on and after couple minutes it goes off but keeps charging in the meantime.

Hello me g30p, I have a question, I was playing with changing regions in the hack scooter and I chose the De Audi Eks (G30dII) mode and the maximum speed was reduced from 30 to 22 km/h and I can't go back to the previous mode, what should I do? please help :(

Same way as the guy on the video does, just remember to disconnect the scooter from the Segway scooter app first

Why this app’s is not working in IPhone
This worked beautifully for my Ninebot E22, the top Speed was 21km/h Max! Now with this trick, it goes up to 28km/h!!!!! also, the battery has more range, this is amazing.

My daughter has a Segway Ninebot F35 from Costco and it's about 5 mph slower than my scooter, so it's a pain to ride together as I always have to back off my throttle.
Does anyone know how to modify the F35 software. The proprietary software is the worst part of that thing.

You have to take the bike to Germany and then make the change to the US.

It never worked with your scooter but it obviouslyworked with mine. There was never offered any guarantees anyway about this process but depends really on what Electric Scooter you do it for. For some work, for some...no. 😉

Hello. I tried this on my g30, and after having changed to US it beeps but it doesnt change after all. It Just stays at (DK) 20 km. Any tips??
i am from Denmark too and mine doesn't work either. I can't turn on "tail light always on" either :(
Charge to 100%. Should give you at least +3-4kmh more on the g30 max, and better torque, which means better acceleration and climbing.
