And then there's the part where certain things just legit have a different pronunciation based on different kinds of English (like Diplodocus for instance, is pronounced differently in Western English than it is in OG English in UK) the only reason it sounded so bad to me is because it sounded like Sonomacrops, and Sonoma is a city in California 🤣 I've always pronounced it as Sainomacrops
