- In this 100 Days Grounded challenge I'll be taking on the new survival game, Grounded with NO guides or tutorials allowed! Enjoy lots of spider jump scares as I try to survive the adventure of living tiny in my backyard, smaller than most bugs. I'm playing the Windows version on Steam with no mods.

"i was suppose to be _________ but i just kept getting distracted" perfectly describes my hundreds of hours in Grounded
The pure unadulterated fear that comes from playing grounded for the first time without ever seeing any gameplay prior is something you can’t quite replicate with other games.
It presents as this friendly “honey I shrunk the kids” game for children but god damn is it anything but that.
It is surprisingly scary. I had so many jump scares 😱 I love playing a game without watching anything on it first, Subnautica is also a great one for that.
Some games have a hidden mechanism where stuff is less likely to attack you from behind, wolf spiders ABSOLUTELY DO NOT. The number of times my only warning was a music change before I died had been absurd, but I'm also only playing on Whoa! Difficulty, which had been an absolute exercise in masochism.
As a "professional" Grounded player that's been playing for 2,5 years it's always fun to see how new players progress and play!

I was so afraid of the wolf spiders😂😂 but day 200 I’m not scared now lol love this video
In my play through I was afraid of the wolf spider until I started hunted Black Widows, I’ve killed more black widows than wolfs

I just love seeing beginners follow their instincts, like by the time someone with quite a lot of experience gets a tier 3 weapon, a beginner would be wondering how to complete their whole ass mansion with a furnace.

I totally support you if planning on making a part two. If you do, maybe find out how to obtain the pinch wacker, a really easy to get tier 3 weapon with shock damage. Might help you with upcoming bosses. 👍

here's a little tip for you guys if you really want to harvest a crap ton of ant parts lure a stink bug over to the ant hill and just let the ants try to kill the stink bug and you could just Harvest off all the dead corpses when they get killed it's the most easiest way to do it that way or if there's a ladybug you can jump on top of the ladybug and shoot one of the big ants so when it hits the ladybug that the ladybug gets Agro to The Ant and will attack it and all the other ants will attack the ladybug

I personally loved this game myself! Me and my friends are on day 394 in our game. I’d love to see you finish out the game, and even kill the Broodmother! (Either one)

Cool journey. You are obviously new but you did good. I am not new but my current playthrough is. Am on day 14 on my way to the black ant hill for my 4th super chip in antlion armor... That's what being retired and having 600 hours of experience does. Looking foward t more of your 100 days journeys.

It’s crazy how much difference having knowledge in this game can have.. at day 55 you are trying to get to the hedge lab to get the super chip.. but when I was at day 55 I was trying to kill termites to make a termite axe and had killed the assistant manager and gotten full tier 3 armour..
By day 5 I was killing termites to get the termite axe
I have a shared world with two of my friends that's 448 Days In.. collectively we have built a masterpiece in the backyard

So one thing I would recommend is to practice parrying if you can get good at parrying then you will be able to absolutely destroy those wolf spiders easily

The only reason we aren't screwed sideways is because bugs goofed on repritory systems.

So you have never watched or played grounded before but knew instantly at the start to hit the grass to make the water drop down?
Yeah the ladybugs are cute and all, but like real life they're carnivorus from day 1. It's their larve that try to bite you, and the adults hit like a truck.

it took me so long to kill my first bombardier beetle in early access and I believe with full ladybug armor and a mosquito needle. I also believe it was pat day 30
