This has to be one of the most difficult covers to do since everyone knows about it, but Lovebites did it and they did it really really good! The best I've ever heard at least. 🙂
Lovebites doesn't do many covers (They don't have to, as they are prolific songwriters) but when they do, they put a lot of work in and do them right. They don't do anything half-assed.
One of the greatest unknown covers of a very important song in metal that I have ever heard.
Thanks for your reaction. Yes. The bass line in 'Painkiller' is Miho. 'Painkiller' and 'Nameless Warrior' ( these songs are from 'In the Beginning - The Best of 2017-2021', December 2021) were the last two songs to feature Miho in the studio recording.
Oh, Tim great review of yours. Yes that was Miho. This is the best of all the painkiller covers and they completely nailed it. Just an incredible performance.
LOVEBITES has a " 'Painkiller' equivalent ". Song is called ⚡'Soldier Stands Solitarily'💥(2023). This song was written by Asami and Miyako. Unfortunately, there is no good quality video of a live (concert) performance of 'Soldier Stands Solitarily' on RUclips yet . But I still recommend that you check out this song in audio version.
Miyako's piano cover is for Helloween's "Eagle Fly Free" : ruclips.net/video/-h3BLRs0Xr4/видео.html , and this is Lovebites' cover of "Eagle Fly Free" Studio LIVE : ruclips.net/video/To21HILZvYE/видео.html . I think you might have got this mixed up with Painkiller. BTW, IMHO, this is hands-down the best Painkiller cover.

Helloween's Eagle fly free is the song Miyako has a Piano cover and the Band had a cover. I never heard of a piano cover of Judas Priest.
By the way, Miyako's piano recital will be held one week later on November 19th. (It would be impossible for a CD or DVD to not be released at a later date.)

I'd love to see a live version of them doing this. Priest, Maiden, LOVEBITES. they deserve to be there. BTW I think you're mixing up the Painkiller cover with Eagle Fly Free cover. LOVEBITES and Miyako on piano have done a separate cover of Eagle Fly Free.
